King stays King, baby. Tim is by far my favourite music producer. This interview was great but I want someone who lived through the Blackground era to talk with him about that sound. Missy, Ginuwine, Playa, Magoo, babygirl Aaliyah and Tim doing their thing was powerful.
Your thoughts on how important music can be to people is spot on. Frequencys can move people in ways we dont understand, but when theres a flow to it, when u hear something that makes u feel good, it can change the outlook on your Day. So Thank You Timbaland for your dedication to your craft and staying in it through all your ups and downs. When that music vibe is correct.. Everything seems to fall into its place. Your music will be heard and felt Forever. Timbaland the Best and we know this.
Absolutely, that dude doesn't get the credit he deserves. That dude is a multi instrumentalist, producer , writer, engineer and can rap and does it all at a crazy level.
This guy knows how to create quality sound beats. He has the talent to take any music artist in the world, create music sound beat, take a written song, apply the sound beat to their voice, and create great music. From high school to college, I rocked Timbaland’s! music!!!🎶 🎼 🎵
I paused this and went to listen to my pony instrumental for a refreshment. no doubt timbo was way ahead. Records wont start sounding like "my pony" or "big pimpin" till about 2049

Great interview Noah!!!!!
I grew up listening to his music and didn't really appreciate it as much as I do now. Just listening to him describe the way he produces music made me smile, how he started just from his keyboard at home and became one of the best producers. Just amazing! Great interview.
Appriciate this and Tims' influence and contribution to the world of music. Timbo, you in a good place of peace and God now. You will have that Thriller moment soon.
Fabio Viana i was just about to say Nelly Furtado...when "Say It Right" came out i literally didnt even know what genre it was, but i DEFITNITLEY loved that song.
He once said in an interview, the whole production game has changed. You don't have many great producers anymore, you now have great programmers. Most of these new kids don't even know how to make their own drums, melodies, basslines or percussive sounds, because most of them have never played an actual instrument before. Now, they just resample and recycle everything, using nothing but a computer and some software.
yeah and I'm from that crop. You cant blame them though you gotta think about how much more music was in the regular school system. Thats been cut out a long time ago so unless your folks have money or you grow up in church or something many cant afford instruments and lessons and stuff. its a bit different with internet now though but most kids have never even touched an instrument. They still know what sounds good though
Just remember people, when you think your idols or people that inspire you, are set and have it easy, you never know the fight they are going through. So when things get tough and your dreams seam far away, you have to dig so deep and fight for whats good for you and get the gifts that God has for you. Don't stop trying.........!!!!!!!

Noah’s interviewing Timberland in some Timberlands. Mind blown
actually it's Timbaland...
Lol.
He definitely did it on purpose
Those shoes Timbaland is wearing are dope. Do you know what kind of shoes those are?
human race's by pharell
This man is a living legend and yet so human. Best Episode!
Ironically he has the human Pharrell shoes
Great interview. He really allowed the interviewee to talk. That's what's it's all about.
Timbaland, Missy, Pharrell.. VA living icons
King stays King, baby. Tim is by far my favourite music producer. This interview was great but I want someone who lived through the Blackground era to talk with him about that sound. Missy, Ginuwine, Playa, Magoo, babygirl Aaliyah and Tim doing their thing was powerful.
solitairedoll yesssssss!
That’s what I grew up on! Hit List on BET type of stuff.
Great interview. He's a real, down-to-earth dude. Real conversation that makes you think about your own life.
I got so emotional watching this interview... Chasing my dreams till I fade!
That's dope how jay z would give tim the flow/rap before the beat was made. Timberland's sounds was/is so unique and innovative.
Ginuwine needs to hook back up with Timbaland, their chemistry is undeniable.
Pony 2.0--Stallion. lol
Same with missy Elliot
Timbaland + Magoo
Wonder if Magoo’s voice still sounds the same?
Great interview. DJ Quik is another deserving candidate for this show.
Dominick Kasza Abso-fukin-loutely. Timbo and Quick in my top 5
Absolutely, that dude doesn't get the credit he deserves. That dude is a multi instrumentalist, producer , writer, engineer and can rap and does it all at a crazy level.
Quik is really interesting and a good communicator too so i would love to hear what he would have to say.
This guy knows how to create quality sound beats. He has the talent to take any music artist in the world, create music sound beat, take a written song, apply the sound beat to their voice, and create great music. From high school to college, I rocked Timbaland’s! music!!!🎶 🎼 🎵
Timbo is the MASTER!!!! And Not only like Producer !!!
He is the best!! The king of producers!! He is beyond this world with his music.
Such an amazing interview!

Complex throwing down the wild card. We can't dislike this. THIS IS TIMBALAND. THE BANE EXISTENCE OF MY CHILDHOOD.
His joint that he did with Jay-z lobster & shrimp was dope too back in the day!
timbaland was DEFINITELY ahead of its time. this is what talent is.
DeVante was a beast.
they need a interview with him. so much gems would be dropped
Also crazy as hell lol from the story Stevie J told
it was lmaoo that nigga devante been ghost for a minute
TruMusic89 I never seen those interviews are they on here?
Michael Evans he doesn’t do interviews
I paused this and went to listen to my pony instrumental for a refreshment. no doubt timbo was way ahead. Records wont start sounding like "my pony" or "big pimpin" till about 2049
Karlyle 7 I get chills! Like I was soooooo obsessed and intrigued with Timbalands talents. This man changed the game! He is so dope, it’s unreal. He and Pharrell really really came in the game with different unique sounds. No one can do what Timbaland did. And you knew when you heard a Timbo beat... you just KNEW!
The Legend!!!!! The Genius lol whew love Timbaland he's the musical magician 🎩 that man knows how to make hit records. I have been a fan since a kid fell in love with Aaliyah and always knew about Ginuwine Missy and Magoo see you have to know your music 🎶lol to really know who you are listening and in the presence of greatness!!!!! Amazing producer I am too excited to see if he teams up with Justin Timberlake again. Timberlake & Timbaland the dynamic duo you can't deny his chemistry with people it's just incredible. Great interview Noah!!!!!
I grew up listening to his music and didn't really appreciate it as much as I do now. Just listening to him describe the way he produces music made me smile, how he started just from his keyboard at home and became one of the best producers. Just amazing! Great interview.
One of my favorite interviews right here, Tim was an inspiration for me to start to produce music🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾
Great interview to start 2018 wit tha 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐.
William Revis thanks, glad you enjoyed.
His beard is actually headphones, Tim on another level...
Timberland, Missy and Aaliyah also Ginuwine and Static were the dream team ❤️.
Timbaland is so wise.
Him and Missy go further back than I thought.
That's dope that they've been kicken it since HS.
Appriciate this and Tims' influence and contribution to the world of music. Timbo, you in a good place of peace and God now. You will have that Thriller moment soon.
Timbo's Top 5 Artist (collaborations):
1.Missy Elliot
2. Justin Timberlake
3. Aaliyah
4. Ginuwine
5. Jay-Z
Darrel Be Nelly furtado?
Fabio Viana i was just about to say Nelly Furtado...when "Say It Right" came out i literally didnt even know what genre it was, but i DEFITNITLEY loved that song.
In that ORDER!!!
Fabio Viana she's a close 6. Maybe even 5b but Tim did greater work with the others
I wish he and Jay-Z made a full album together during their prime. They've made great music.
Enter: Daft Punk
yeah and I'm from that crop.
His goatee is shaped like headphones 🎧 that tells he's the 🐐 producer!
Aaliyah Baby Girl ❤ 👼 🌈 ☁

when timbaland explained about the depression part I cried a tear, I can't express how much this was so relatable but one thing I want to say is glad to see timbaland back and better, this is something am working myself glad to see this video
Going through a transition, as well with a friend of mine. Talking about music I mentioned Timbo. We went down a great ride of music. Watching this interview lifted me up. Fill me back up with the passion I lost. Stay humble n true.
how do you not play snippets of the beats that come up throughout the interview? how in the hell don't you do that?
When you have to pay licensing on each music cue, that's how. It becomes extremely expensive if you're clearing everything.
Alexander Bollbach b/c Noah prolly stole this idea/credit from someone at Complex just like Joe Budden said he does. 😂
I was thinking the same thing and waiting to hear some every time lol
Alexander Bollbach pretty sure you need a license for that...he owns nothing bruh.
Alexander Bollbach i literally came to the comments to see if its just me who is upset about that
Noah wit the Magoo reference, hip hop is ALIVE!
Ayo Jerz 😂😂😂
Its crazy how much history is attached to that brief mention. they will never know unless they look it up.
Magoo sucked tho ...lmao
Simon Sylvester yeah if heard he sucked ..so what's the relevance of that reference
Lol
WOW! Clicked on this with the quickness
Marvillous Beats yup! Without blinking.
We just started our label a year ago and meeting with so many artists and producers taught me that some people are born producers and some just WANT to be producers. Timbaland was born with this.
That was a real treat. Always loved Tim's beats, but now love his perspective and newfound humility. Great stuff!
Whoever didn't like this plz cash me ouside!!
TIMBO IS KING
TIMBO been reigning as king since 1995-6! Gets better with time! My idol, My hero! I adore everything Timbaland Mosley! Anyone who doesn't should work on the malfunction in their brain how bow dat?

Hes awesome because hes humble!
Timbo needs to work with Lupe Fiasco to create hiphops version of Thriller
Honestly that would just destroy the music game 😀
Sex McAdams not if it was old Lupe and old Timbo.
On a separate note I wrote this comment a year ago 😂
Love Lupe he's truly a underrated artist.
Timbaland, the greatest there ever has been in the music industry.
As a fan, I am proud to know that you seem to enjoy your craft nowadays more than ever and I can’t wait to hear the many masterpieces that are still to come from you!
I just wish that we can get to that point, where we can start discovering the rest of your music with Aaliyah.
Even though she has always been on our minds, she still has such an incredible presence in today’s music.
Hopefully we get to hear her original songs (or songs that you can finish) that would make us, fans, very happy 😊
Timbandland was my neighbor in VA. HIs power to create realms of R&B sounds delivered salvation to a genre that has become iconic. Write on write on write on superstar
