Sonic the Hedgehog: South Island Definitive running on a PlayStation 2

While I figure out how to run PS1 games, I've done this in the meantime. I could try to make a version compatible with this emulator?

Which version: Gamecube (2002) via RAM Editing (in this case, specifically replacing Sonic the Hedgehog 02 (MD)'s entire ROM via a Hex Editor while Mega Collection is at the Z Button Pause Menu), ROM Injection into Plus 2004 (I presume this would be easier on the Xbox port, though I have never tested this on either console build of Plus), or ROM Injection into Plus 2006? (the Windows version has significantly better Audio Decoding for the FM Channels, especially in the case of both Pitch for SMPS and eliminating that odd Percussion Twang on the GEMS Driver that we hear in both Shaq Fu and Comix Zone; 2004 uses the same emulator as 2002, so comparing it to 2006 will deliver very distinguishable results, though I presume injecting other games would be the same method as the Xbox port of '04)
I think for now, 2002 would be the first option to take on because it is the most accessible method available to us at present; Plus 2004 and Plus 2006 are foreign territory at the moment and wishfully some work will be done with them eventually, I've always been curious about how the menus were reworked and the emulation differences of 2006 have spiked my curiosity for the past matter of years because of its improvements.
