So embarrassing how many times I have watched reactions to this over the last couple of months. 😅 Still the best cover of an artists song I have ever heard. Kasey is in her late 40’s now but has been an advocate for doing what you love, no matter what the music industry thinks, her whole solo career! ❤ Kasey needs worldwide recognition for her art and for being a pure heart. ❤

I can’t tell you how happy I am that you reacted to this! I’m all about a live performance, and I would have loved to have been at this one. Kasey has always loved Eminem and got bored during COVID and this is the result. Just a bit out there huh. It really highlights how great Eminems lyrics truly are, but man she put every little bit of herself into it. I remember seeing an interview with Kasey 10 or so years ago where they asked her what music she liked listening to, and she said she really liked Eminem. It shows here. You can tell she really appreciates the song. To me the original version feels like someone trying to rise above something. Kaseys version feels like a prequel, like an explanation of what they're trying to rise above.
Premiers are annoying, but Im really glad liked Kasey's version it's s just one of the all time great performances period. I agree with you about best cover of any song, I've not heard a better one.

Oh VK what a great reaction to our wonderful Kasey Chambers. Eminem had given Kasey permission to do this cover and allow it on Spotify. I would love to know what he thought of this cover. His lyrics were clearly heard as sung by Kasey slowly telling his story of a very dysfunctional early life but was then able to release all the pent up emotions and the finally POW! out came the anger and frustration.
