Kasey Chamber's voice/style reminds me of a cross between Ani Difranco and Alanis Morissette a bit here. Ani's style of vocal storytelling in the first part, Alanis with the more aggressive vocals in the second part. Pretty cool - I'm not a fan of Kasey's music normally; it's kind of a shame she doesn't do more in this style, because it really showcases her vocal talent.
Casey has a better understanding of American music than prob. 99% of Americans and guess what - all kinds her brother Nash is a great guitarist and producer and her dad ,who plays lap slide here is just revered. The whole family grew living and breathing this shit

That wasn't her brother Nash on guitar and backing vocals. It was Brandon Dodd who has been in her band for around the last 8 years.
