I love makeup and I used to be a professional makeup artist but at this point in my life, I'm busy, I've got no time to waste choosing my makeup look for the day. This classic makeup look is something everyone over 40 should have in their arsenal.
Whether you're a mom, a working professional, have 5 dogs, need to cook for an army of 10 every morning, or would rather spend your time sleeping in or at the gym - this look is for you!
In this tutorial I focus on teaching you a simple method to create a flattering cat eye liner, and help you with a technique to get your red lipstick to stay put all day.
This look is long wearing, versatile and ageless.
I don't change anything about my actual face with photoshop or fancy editing equipment (no shade to those who do) and I like to keep these videos really raw and true to real life.
I'm not a model, actress or influencer. I'm not trying to get you to buy anything you don't need and I want to give you a true impression of what makeup on real people with real, textured, porous skin looks like.

Thanks for watching! I intentionally left the products out of the video but I'm happy to share that I'm using the old school Mac Studio Fix Powder! If you use the product with a brush rather than a sponge, you'll get lighter coverage.
