World's Most Fancy Market Walk Through [Mexico Travel]
Foodie travelers and market explorers, this vlog will take you through one of the most fancy grocery stores I've ever been in. City Market by La Comer, located in SMA is a quality shopping experience for those that like high end imported products as well as local Mexican brands. Yes, the groceries here are expensive but the service, presentation, and atmosphere of this high end grocery store are well worth the visit. If you're a digital nomad or an expat traveling through Mexico, you have to check out San Miguel de Allende in Guanajuato for all of the beautiful markets, art and architecture.

La Comer is not fancy. Its a regular grocery store. City Market is the upscale grocery store in San Miguel. There's also Bodega Aurrera, which is on the lower end of the spectrum. So, La Comer is kind of in the middle.

I love these videos! I left Honolulu and now live in a small mountain pueblo in Jalisco-- I dropped 100k I had inherited on building a house--- nice and quiet--- AND SO AFFORDABLE! Mexicans are so nice, it was creepy at first, but I decided to let loose and be kind and my authentic self lately-- it was scary at first.

Thanks for watching! I intentionally left the products out of the video but I'm happy to share that I'm using the old school Mac Studio Fix Powder! If you use the product with a brush rather than a sponge, you'll get lighter coverage.

Agreed, la comer is just a tier below City Market (it’s La comer’s upscale brand actually) and Chedraui selecto. I still wish we had a Whole Foods though 😭
