This is so helpful Jen. I’m worried about this too…. I’m not only adhd, but I’m obsessive compulsive… and even though I can see myself creating a channel (been making excuses for 10 years now), I can see myself doing too much and losing what makes it fun and authentic. I find, with my work, (freelance illustrator) if I’m burnt out, taking breaks and doing things that are complete guilty fun and joy. No explanations, no remorse and no worries… it’s hard when you are obsessed. But no one who’s successful works 24 hours a day every day. Even Elon Musk took time to do recreational things. There has to be a balanced. Peanut butter and jelly is balance. The jelly is the sweet joy you get from anything that you love to do on the side. Even if it’s not productive. Even if it’s doing nothing. That’s something. Reaching out too is good… find some perspective on it, like you’re doing here. I’m a little older than you, and have been through the nightmare of burning out. Humans are beautifully flawed and dynamically precocious, however that can be a good and bad thing if we push it all too much. Thanks for this video. I’m hoping to begin my terror-filled journey here on RUclips soon…lol… just trying my best to absolutely over think it and procrastinate because I am terrified. Hahahaha! You’re doing great. You’re a joy to watch. Just keep going. Pick up some good things as you go, just for you and keep going… ❤

Great video! How’s the journey going? Have you been able to continue not editing your videos?
Editing takes a lot of time and I wish I can get it off my plate. I moved from taking days to edit to needing a full day to edit a 20mins video which I don’t think is ideal considering the volume of views I currently have, but then I think, what if it’s the video that would go viral lol

Great video, I can definitely relate even though you are much further than me, haha. I would say to just trust the process, no matter what. Even if there is only one person clapping in the audience, just keep going and if you make it in 6 months, one year, or even 2 years, it doesn't really matter as the most important thing is action. The time will pass anyway. :)
