It's a humbucker style circuit so it wouldnt (or at least shouldn't ) hum

I bought the same pick up, but I'm not getting it to sound good. Your's sounds excellent. I know this is an eye rolling question, but what would your recommend for a 3 band eq to be set as? Thank you in advance.
