I really like how you fund your travels around to different countries. I also had a lovely childhood though I wished to go abroad. On our British holidays I heard foreign languages and wished to go to those places. When I was 13 years old I got a paper round and I saved up enough money to visit a Greek Island with my mom. On our way home we got to see Athens and it amazed me with its historical sites. Then I worked on Saturdays in a shop when I was 16 to 18 years old. I saved up enough money to visit Amsterdam with a friend. Yes, we were 17 years old and it was exciting. I got a job in Finland and with my high wages managed to travel all around Europe by train. I was left money in my great aunt's will so I bought a little cottage in a village. My sister bought a studio apartment in a town nearer London. I worked for a company in London and two years into it I was made redundant. There was wide unemployment at that time. I decided to let my cottage and go off traveling. I had a rental income to keep me happy over my year around the world. That was in the days before the Internet.

Hi Jacob.. my name is Dhruvee from Malaysia and I will be graduating high school in 2 months ..I have 7 months in total before I get into college and education is very important to me and also my family. My family are not against the idea of me travelling long term but their only conditions are that I should have a degree in anything I want and make my own money or fund myself for travelling. The only setback is that I’m ABSOLUTELY clueless in how to fund myself and study at the same time.. the only good thing about what I want to do is that it is regarding to media which comes hand in hand with travelling as it could be done anywhere basically . Besides that I could tutor people and write articles about my expertise. I also have this gift of advising people on how to live their life and what life means and everything which they seem to be inspired by ( by they I mean my friends and family )and I’m thinking of starting a RUclips channel on that..I’m still very very young but I don’t want to miss out the chance of travelling the world because I really want to know the different cultures and religions that are alive at this moment. A lot of my family members think it is a phase and sadly I am still not able to convince them about the idea of me as a digital nomad..I hope one day they would understand . I feel so proud but sad at the same time when I see young travellers living their way out to enjoy being in different parts of the world.. you’re amazing and thank you so much for such a detailed video ☺️
This is so inspiring, I just graduated highschool last year and have been trying to figure out how to spend most of my time traveling, but money has always been an issue. I'm currently working on some ballroom certification so I can go teach workshops around the world, but that is very competitive, this seems much more practical and more fulfilling, if that makes sense? I'm learning so much and I love it, but of course this is funded by my parents' savings. I like Fiverr. It's the Udemy of freelance. Once your gig is setup and you have a compelling offer it make money month over month reliably. I make $200- 300 extra a month. Not life changing or anything, but it's fun, easy, my clients get value out of it and I get some play money :)
