Ever found yourself wondering why some people achieve so much while others seem to barely make a dent? Maybe you've looked in the mirror and thought, "I really thought I'd be further ahead by now." I've been there, at 25, feeling like I was wasting my potential and my life. But then, I discovered something that changed my life. Today, sharing it with you. Careful though... this vid hits HARD! the key point that i got out of this video was that "preparing to do "the thing" is not doing "the thing" thinking about doing "the thing" is not doing the thing, only doing the thing is doing it, so just start doing and stop thinking, evaluating, doubting, fearing etc.
I am turning 18 this year. I always wanted someone to show me the “way” never wanted to find it myself I never wanted to make decisions which I might regret later .so I always asked others to take decisions for me, I took their advice as their orders and mentally blamed them if anything goes wrong the fear of being wrong or failure always stayed I still don't know what I want to do in life but one thing I would change from today is I will take my own decisions and responsibility which comes with it. Because nobody always make the right choice, I might end up becoming a failure in life, but one thing is for sure, I will not sleepwalk through life. I will need this video again, so please like to remind me
Your story really moved me . I guessed because it's very similar to my life too. I am 18 and I failed my Engineering entrance exam . Instead of taking the responsibility I coped by pushing the guilt away by blaming others and random things . To be honest I never was dedicated and determined to clear the exam by studying and putting in the actual hardwork ......but instead I used to search tricks and strategies , like relying on external factors to help me pass the exam Now I am preparing for the same exam again by taking a year out and attempt it next year ..... but this time I guess I understood what a failure is like by analysing my previous mistakes and try to stay true to my goal now . Thank you for sharing your story 😊 Good luck
More power to you. Best wishes ❤. I am also turning 18 this month so can relate alot to your thoughts and situation since I've veen through the similar. I have always wanted get that slightest excuse that i am still young and soneone else should help me and take decisions for me but i am stopping this now. Let's be in charge of our own selves.

Make sure to put down 20% or more. Your mortgage payment cannot exceed 30% of your gross monthly income. If you can do this, you will be able to afford the house.
I’m chronically ill and disabled. It is incurable, and life long. I have intense pain almost every waking moment, and I convinced myself for years that I was incapable of most of the things I ever wanted to do in life. I finally got sick of it, and with the possibility that tomorrow I may be “taken out” by anaphylaxis, an aneurysm or rupture, a spine injury resulting in paralysis… I have been proving myself wrong consistently. In just the past year I’ve done more than I thought I would be able to do for the rest of my life, and it was still in pain. I was still physically miserable for a good portion of it, but the more I decided I could control the things in my power, the better I felt and the better my health has gotten. I’ll be listening to this and trying to apply in this sense, because things are wildly different when we are differently abled. Especially in my case…
You are inspiring! Keep doing it. I feel like people who live to a ripe old age don’t give up and decide to find a purpose or way regardless of circumstances.
Good to hear you're achieving things despite your circumstances. Re the pain, have you looked at medicinal grade CBD oil? it has a small amount of THC but will not make you high. It's been a godsend for many people dealing with pain.
Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, I had only $12k to my name at 42 when I first woke up to this reality. I chose the stock market as a medium of growth, got an excellent financial advisor, Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets
Indeed, currently I'm managing my finances wisely and being frugal. In the last 19 months, my investments grew by 43%, adding over $500K in profits. However, I've had losses in the past month, making me anxious. I'm unsure whether to sell everything or wait.
No doubt, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 100% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till end of 2024
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation

Great video! The tips are really eye-opening. I’ve found that the key to real progress is focusing on the right things every day. I remember coming across a powerful approach in the Nixorus secrets that changed how I manage my time and energy. Definitely inspired to take action now!
Today, I came to Coffee in order to reflect on my past and change what should be changed. Before turning off my laptop, this video appeared on my screen, so I clicked on it, and it definitely came at the exact moment. I extremely believe that I will not be the same in the next coming months. This video is a gift from the universe. Thank you
I started watching you when I was 19 and now I’m 23 with a 6 figure income and my own lake view condo I was able to stay laser focused on my goal and achieve what I wanted to thanks Clark
Man this is such a good video. I’m that guy who tried around 8-9 different career/online businesses that I heard the gurus talk about… Sure there are people who make money Dropshipping, or doing high ticket sales, or copywriting, etc… But I genuinely believe that, for most, that’s not the way to go. Find something that interests you, that you have a knack for, ideally, and do that. If that does mean starting your own business, then go for it! But if that also looks like working your way through a degree, and working in a company, then don’t feel bad about that because we all have a different path to walk. Another thing to remember and tell yourself is: “I’m better than SOME people at SOME things, but I’m not better than ALL people at ALL things. At the same time, I AM better than anyone else at being me.” Find your thing.
Clark, may I kindly suggest you extend that bar. I feel for all the people in their 60's, 70's and 80's & later, who are watching and are 'younger' than ever! They have so much to live & do and may even outlive us! 😊
If you are still on this Earth, you are not only winning, but nothing is over either. Clark's advice is great, but do not for one second think you're not deserving of it because of age. I used to have so much feeling of regret for not doing better in high school. I always felt that it pointed the trajectory of my life. It wasn't until I was about 40 years old where I said that I'm going to mentally think that I graduated high school today. What would I have done different? So, I started aggressively learning about investing and investing my money in. So, I don't become a millionaire at 30 but become one at 50 or 55...or even 75. What am I going to say..."no thanks, I'm too old. Take it back!"? Of course I'm going to enjoy it and take wonderful enjoyment that I at least did it once in my life. Age is just a number. Don't underestimate your ability to ignore that number!
Sage advice from a young man. When I was 25, I was uncertain in life and working in construction, saving money paying off my student loans. But I grew restless. Finally, I went to the top of the mountain overlooking the valley, and I asked myself the question if you could do anything you wanted in life and you were guaranteed to succeed , then what would you do? It was hard to ask that question because my mind was full of doubts, and all the things that others told me that I should do, but I finally managed to push all that aside and see my future. I knew then that I wanted to go back to college and study computer science , it was a life changing decision Sometimes we have to set ourselves free from the shackles of fear and doubt, and even comfort can be a shackle,. But once free, you can see clearly.
It took me all of 37 years of my life and more than half of those years being a mom of eventual 6 kids, to get that “ah-ha!” moment of realization that there is a HUGE difference between just being busy and actually being productive! After that, it was a huge shift for me. But you’re never ‘there’ especially when you’re only always ever chasing ‘getting there’ as a means of always trying to get ‘there’ where ever ‘there’ actually is.
@@davidkovacic3422I think there may be a little more to her comment than what I'm about to say. But I can elaborate on the first half. Many people make the mistake of busy work and it gets them nowhere. For example- Two people have an office for their business. One stays in the office everyday and says "I need to clean my desk. If any clients come in I also need to vacuum. I don't want them to see an non vacuumed floor. I also need to repaint my office" and he spends all his days like that. The other says "I need clients. I'm going to advertise, call, and go out and offer my services. I'll spend 95% of my time getting clients until I have enough work and only 5% cleaning the office." The second one was actually doing activities that would get him where he wants to be. The first one is doing things that are essentially doing nothing for him. He's putting icing on a cake that isn't ready. The first will always wonder why the second is doing so much better because they both work the same amount. But one is busy and the other is productive!
What sort of things were you able to drop for more important, actually productive tasks? I'm struggling to identify which tasks aren't truly worth my time, and would appreciate suggestions!
There’s a lot of productivity/ changing your life videos but this one hits a little differently. I can tell you really care about your viewers. Even all the side tangents are so interesting because you’re not pushing the usual what society tells us to dream of, but are pushing us to find our unique purpose without the external/ superficial pressure. Thanks very much :)
"Sleepwalking through life." Damn, I was never able to figure out how to word it. I always used "Complacent in life"... This video reminded me it is actually OK to choose my own direction in life. I've always yielded to the belittling and degrading of others around me, living a life in their shadows and failures. I have been living this way for 15 years. Not playing the victim but actually living life as if their opinions and demands - their perceptions are boundaries I can not live outside of bc nothing exists or is allowed to exist outside of their spoken / unspoken boundries.
Wow, that description hits…. Time to break down those old useless walls! Be warned, they won’t like it. The more pushback you encounter, the more you know you’re fighting for yourself in the right direction. I know you’ll find peace on your journey outside of it all. Know that there are others, like myself, who have to do the same. Good luck and stay strong💪
I've already changed a lot these last two years, from a jobless piece of shit getting high all day, I've got in shape, started running and completed my first half marathon last week, found a job, got back to college. I feel very proud of myself and feel like I've accomplished so much from where I started. But this video is exactly what I needed to rethink everything and make sure my objectives are still aligned with the effort I've been putting everyday. Thank you for the work, it's quality content you've made here!!

I've thought every single night about all the things I should start doing to improve my life, can't even think about the hundreds of times I've said tomorrow I'm going to change things and never done anything. Pls if you're reading this, act now!! Don't wait for life to come at you
I'm 28. I have watched quite a number of self-improvement videos, but this one actually strikes a chord. I have always felt this deep drive in me, that I could do something great in the world, but my fears and anxieties always beat me down and those dreams truly felt just like dreams of a fool. But now I see that the problem was in that I never had any plan whatsoever, it was just a deep longing feeling and in a day it faded away, without me ever having anything particular to grasp onto. This video though gives concrete 4 questions, by answering which, I really feel I'll get some kind of path to follow and a goal to achieve. My big dream was always to sing in front of the crowd, to make their day better. Sing with emotion and happiness (I love singing alone at my house, music is magic), so that hopefully the people will feel it too. I know that without any fear I would enjoy it immensely. But at the same time I am an introvert with social anxiety and singing in front of the people is terrifying :D With writing this comment I promise myself that in a years time I will go on the street and sing. No matter how good or bad it will go, still I will be unbelievably proud of myself for just even going to the street and opening my mouth. Because then it means that I can do it again. And again. Every time getting a bit better. And one day, hopefully, fear will understand that it cant stop me and will let me go. See you in a year, you beautiful people! 😇
I am not one to comment on posts or subscribe to channels, but this stuff that speaks to me. It grounded, smart, and sincere. Great work and I appreciate ya.

I can't thank you enough for being straight to the point and clear with your message. The visuals helped give perspective. As many others mentioned, I've seen alot of self help videos and they're bloated or simply lack an appeal and tangible message that makes sense to me. My guy found me when I wasn't looking. I think that's the secret. Invest in yourself and pursue interests and hobbies. I hung out with lots of ladies and had fun, but also serious soul searching. Scarily and amazingly today I made that exact decision to put it all into practice. Losing that fear and keeping focused. Awesome thank you for coming along just today!
This was probably the best self development video I’ve ever seen. Focusing on all of the other stuff truly is ‘straightening deck chairs on the titanic’ until you’ve got the foundation there to guide you. Thanks for the wake up call!
When I finally realized I can have contentment and see beauty in an ordinary life, I felt free. I always felt I needed to be “a somebody” or do something profound or big or to have had a great life. I was always chasing the next thing I “needed” to be doing. But when I realized the act of living and the ordinary things of the day to day are what it’s all about and we never pay attention to the, you find beauty and contentment in living slower and more simply. And not striving to do something huge all the time.

This video insightfully highlights the difference between being busy and truly productive, reminding us that life's quality isn't dictated by hours spent but by the meaning of those hours. 🌟 It's crucial to focus not just on ticking boxes but on fulfilling the tasks that align with your passions and long-term goals.
I admire how this man differentiates between 'preparing to live' and 'living'. This reminds me of the quote 'many people die at 25 years of age, but we only bury them at 75,' which emphasizes the significance of truly living life rather than just existing.
thank you for this wake up, i feel like i just broke free from the endless cycle of self improvement videos and saying I'll start tomorrow, money can be amazing just don't loose site of what's also important, we can all live our own fulfilling life's, no one on this planet has a handbook step by step for life, make your own guide book

I do not think 'old age' is a specific number. Just meet a lot of people, say from the age of 50 to 100, and you'll see what I mean. Availability of health services and nutrition, genetics, whether you had exposure to toxic things, if you had to live with toxic/abusive people, etc. We all become old at different ages. But, regardless, you can still try to have healthy behaviors whether you are young or old.
60 is not old for many or perhaps --of those healthy--most. It is the next stage. It is another career time for those who can make it happen. Many are productive for only 20 years of their life, even less in some instances, making it big and burning out in a decade, or dying young after a major accomplishment -- and thus at 60 a person could still accomplish everything they desire, if they eat right and exercise. I will likely never stop working, because it is what makes a person feel vital, and by definition, adds to vitality. And that adds to quality of life. 90 seems old to me. But perhaps when I'm 90 I will say that 100 is old.
@@1realtruthrightnow742 These days, there have been quite a few young people dying unexpectedly. So, the Grim Reaper could meet you around the corner too!
Thanks, Clark. I’ve done so much to improve the way I think, my discipline, and my habits, but this video helped me understerstand something very important. Having to think about something I would stop doing this year to make my life better has helped me realize that I’m very dishonest still about the way I feel. It took me forever to start getting up earlier because I always stayed up watching whatever on the discord share, and I grew tired of the mindless entertainment. I worked up the courage one day to just switch my bedtime, but I never really truly explained why. I also say I handle fun at hang outs even if I didn’t. I also give a half truth when I explain why I don’t want to do something. I can’t blame people for seeing me a certain way and expecting me to be certain ways when I am never honest with them. I’m not living the life I want to because I lie and say that I’m ok with the life that I’m not ok with.
Excellent. Thanks for the wake-up call. I was building a business in the UK following these principles back in the late 90's. I got a job in Detroit, and I thought I'd made it. Slowly, I reverted to the person who was grinding and dead already. Definitely hitting the coffee shop early tomorrow.
This is the best video I’ve seen on this subject matter. I’ve seen many. By point of contrast, it makes some of the other videos on this topic I’ve watched seem really weird by comparison. Well done.
This was really moving Clark and something I really needed to hear. I'm 44 and woke up to the horror that I am not living the life I want. I have a great and secure job as a graphic designer making 6 figures, but I ask myself everyday.... is this it? why do I have to force myself out of bed? where have my friendships gone? am I going to be single forever? Has the ship sailed for me?
Well I’m now 64 but feel similarly … but without the career ( I made a career of staying small and being the helper to others) … just another way to lose oneself. Congrats on waking up! It’s not too late …. Ever. Your comment was helpful for me to see. Mahalo, best wishes & Aloha
U need to feel more alive; transition to spending your time on creating new experiences, do things you want hobbies passions travel etc Grinding ur current life now til you die would be criminal. And hurry up while your body is still healthy:)
Love the video! Really helps me because I figured out question one but wasn't exactly sure what to do now. Society has us so programmed by school and work. I felt like I was struggling to figure out what I wanted to do and realized I'm in my own way causing the struggle.
With all due respect are you yourself really being fearless and going for it as if you could not fail. By doing the same thing "creating videos for the last 12 years on RUclips" . But absolutly great questions you gave.
I must compliment the vibe. It's rare to see a video with sufficient value that's not ruined by that cringeworthy "aggressive self-improvement" format we're getting bombarded with.
Everything was just perfect man. I am going through a pretty rough phase of my life ..l have been following your videos for over a year now and trust me it helps like a lot. Thank you clark I really appreciate the effort that you put into these videos. Peace from Bangladesh❤
That’s so true we keep reading stuff and preparing to live, but when are we going to actually start living. That hit me so hard. And so true all this grinding yourself down and forcing yourself it gets to you. Love to see more videos Clark. 💪🏽
Waking up knowing that you're going to go waste 8+ hours of you life at a job, a job you could easily do in a matter of hours but are chained to the clock as an hourly employee, is the biggest life suck.
@@dogma7911 Yep, still wasting all that time too. Boss even ripped into me last Friday about taking too long of a break (I'm not, I take my two 15-minute breaks in the morning to go for a walk), being selfish for wanting to be paid for every minute I'm here (that's literally the law), not putting in enough hours (I honestly spend 95% of my time WAITING for work to do), and not going above and beyond when I don't have work to do. I work for the biggest DB on the planet apparently. But finding a decent job is hard, so I'll just sit here and hope I get laid off, but I know he's too stupid to do that.
Most valuable RUclips video I have ever watched And I watched A LOT of RUclips videos, specifically about productivity, motivation, discipline, getting ahead, etc. But this is the only video that I will ever need. It still is useful listening to other's experiences, tho. During the past couple years, I've messed up, wasted time and kept on making the same big mistakes over and over that I got stuck in a loop. If I don't stop now, I won't be anywhere in life in the future. I'm turning 17 at the end of this month, it's time to flip the page to a new chapter, move on, be better, but most importantly just live and be true to myself. Thank you for this video.
Very eye opening video. Have a lot of thoughts but like you suggested i will write them down tomorrow morning. Loved the format, the visual definitely helped. I want to wake up. Thank you
These questions are ones i kind of ask myself every now and then....BUT i never get answers. Maybe this time will be different. I feel this leads one into a flow state, not sleepwalking but actually working towards something without being forced. Earned a sub man.

Is there the link that you mention in the video? 🙏
Hit! Detail: “Metamorphic” is covering the content.
the key point that i got out of this video was that "preparing to do "the thing" is not doing "the thing" thinking about doing "the thing" is not doing the thing, only doing the thing is doing it, so just start doing and stop thinking, evaluating, doubting, fearing etc.

To be honest I never was dedicated and determined to clear the exam by studying and putting in the actual hardwork ......but instead I used to search tricks and strategies , like relying on external factors to help me pass the exam
Now I am preparing for the same exam again by taking a year out and attempt it next year ..... but this time I guess I understood what a failure is like by analysing my previous mistakes and try to stay true to my goal now . Thank you for sharing your story 😊
Good luck
I hope you reach your goal

I have always wanted get that slightest excuse that i am still young and soneone else should help me and take decisions for me but i am stopping this now. Let's be in charge of our own selves.
Exactly what I've been thinking, this video really opens my mind and helped me to take responsibility of my choices 😊

You've got this buddy enjoy the ride!
Especially in my case…
keep pushing you can do it!
I believe in you
You are inspiring!
Hello, My brother is struggling with something similar to this, and I'd love it! if I could ask you some tips and tricks/ help regarding this.
Her name is. ‘Judith Lynn Saufer’. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

But If it's true congrats. I hope U are happy❤😊
Man this is such a good video.
I’m that guy who tried around 8-9 different career/online businesses that I heard the gurus talk about…
Sure there are people who make money Dropshipping, or doing high ticket sales, or copywriting, etc…
But I genuinely believe that, for most, that’s not the way to go.
Find something that interests you, that you have a knack for, ideally, and do that.
If that does mean starting your own business, then go for it!
But if that also looks like working your way through a degree, and working in a company, then don’t feel bad about that because we all have a different path to walk.
Another thing to remember and tell yourself is:
“I’m better than SOME people at SOME things, but I’m not better than ALL people at ALL things.
At the same time, I AM better than anyone else at being me.”
Find your thing.
I like what you are saying here. Will copy and reread your comment. Thanks!
Love this! Very smart! 😊
Totally agree.
Action cures fear.
The message will be still the same so think yourself some zeros at the end and don’t worry 😂
Word! I am 59 and living the BEST years of my life. Physically, mentally and financially.

I knew then that I wanted to go back to college and study computer science , it was a life changing decision
Sometimes we have to set ourselves free from the shackles of fear and doubt, and even comfort can be a shackle,. But once free, you can see clearly.
It took me all of 37 years of my life and more than half of those years being a mom of eventual 6 kids, to get that “ah-ha!” moment of realization that there is a HUGE difference between just being busy and actually being productive! After that, it was a huge shift for me.
But you’re never ‘there’ especially when you’re only always ever chasing ‘getting there’ as a means of always trying to get ‘there’ where ever ‘there’ actually is.
what do you mean exactly? im young and trying to not waste my time. any advice?
"Sleepwalking through life."
Damn, I was never able to figure out how to word it.
But this video is exactly what I needed to rethink everything and make sure my objectives are still aligned with the effort I've been putting everyday.
But at the same time I am an introvert with social anxiety and singing in front of the people is terrifying :D
With writing this comment I promise myself that in a years time I will go on the street and sing.

Already wrote down those 4 things, and hoping to get to that coffee shop tomorrow morning by doing what you suggested to me/us, btw thanks wholeheartedly and am gonna try to update this every now and then.
"The best coaches don't have the answers, they have the questions..."
Best advice for any age.
You're not old until you reach 90 yrs. Until then think young, eat healthy, exercise, think positive, destress by laughing every day !!
I really enjoyed yr delivery , it was casual, sincere, informative & straight to the point good job!
Say what you want at your age, but when you are at 60 you realize death is just right around the corner
7:30 ''Promise me that tomorrow morning...'', look at him, knowing RUclips loves pushing these videos in the ungodly hours of the night
When we are most open to change and introspection
Well done.
LOVE this format! So relatable and real and doable. More please!
This was really moving Clark and something I really needed to hear.
I also appreciate you calling out the opposite extremes of your industry, and I feel like you're currently treading applicable and considerate ground.
Like a good book, this is a video I'll likely keep coming back to you.
Thank you for making these mate
you are the only 'get more done in one week than one-year' style RUclipsr I watch, normally its never useful but you are a shining exception.
bro, wtf? thank you so fu****g much!!! the first video of you and already the best video ever. Even make me want to stop all the motivational video and people who telling me what i should do. i'm really so grateful to find this vidie out of nowhere.

@@stephanietapia9665 best wishes for you too!
U need to feel more alive; transition to spending your time on creating new experiences, do things you want hobbies passions travel etc
Grinding ur current life now til you die would be criminal.
I feel like I’m watching myself talking out my life .. but with answers !!! Love your video !
Hey, this helped more than you know. I loved your vibe, you're so authentic.
That’s so true we keep reading stuff and preparing to live, but when are we going to actually start living. That hit me so hard. And so true all this grinding yourself down and forcing yourself it gets to you. Love to see more videos Clark. 💪🏽
Your speech is easy to follow and not so basic to fall asleep. keep up the work :)
I haven’t watched a video from you in while and I’m glad I found you because this is the second time you “woke me up”
Waking up knowing that you're going to go waste 8+ hours of you life at a job, a job you could easily do in a matter of hours but are chained to the clock as an hourly employee, is the biggest life suck.
So true.
100% true. It's so wasteful of the only thing you have in life. Your time.
One of your best, Clark. Love the format
I don’t have time and money for therapy , you are the closest thing I have to it. Thank you for your effort and time
This is solid Clark, thank you. I always want to journal, but struggle to do it. Calendar appointment is set and I'm gonna git er done! Thank you ✌️💖🤗
How did it go?
absolutely LOVED that video. Fullpacked with usefull information, a good amount of humour, supported by crazy graphics and quotes. Huge video!!
Fantastic life changing video. I will answer the questions and I’m sure it will be eye opening. Thanks Clarke!
Thank you Clark! This has helped me a lot! I have recently been made redundant whilst doing a data apprenticeship, which I'm really gutted about😢. But I realise that I had other strengths all along 👩🎨. Your video helped me so much. I literally wrote down "STOP doing data!" 🤣😂
As in the Book called Reality Transurfing he says : what does your soul want? What will make your life a feast?
Love that part about not grinding yourself silly but moving effortlessly when things are aligned 👌👌
I’m a simple man, I see a Reality Transurfing mention, I rejoice
