Hi! I applied a long time ago but still no answer :(
There’s been some synchronicity to the timing of your videos in my life. You have a gift for communicating heavy hitter topics that need to be blasted into millions of ear holes. Keep crackin’ these out, Sir! 🙏🏻
😅😅😅😅😮😅l😂😮😊😊😅😮
How is it youre looking more handsome as you age ? I am jealous. I am a woman though, i think we have it a little harder.
-Negative emotions are a call to action.
-Your first step if you feel stuck is to answer the call to adventure.
-You have to become aware of what is holding you back. Journaling, meditation, and shadow work, are ways to do so.
-Keep a ‘win log’ to reconfirm your progress. Build evidence that you are going for it.
Thank you, I'm re-watching and taking notes and this saved me time! 🥰
This sounds like Jordan Peterson meets Alex Hormozi
Love the goldfish analogy! My own 'identity' was locked in stone with a childhood trauma...and that is where I stayed. Once I saw the core issue, I began to grow! It was, and still is a painful journey - dealing with a lifetime of non-living. After suppressing my 'self', and seeing the truth of it, I entered a phase of great despair. Challenging one's inner thoughts and embedded default programs is not an easy road. Yet it is the only road to inner peace. Best to all my fellow travelers.
I relate to that completely. Best of luck to you.
Fellow traveler here. I'm rooting for you.
Read Kavafi's poem 'Ithaca'.
You are describing me. I just cannot pinpoint the trauma.
Wow. Relate so much. A “lifetime of non-living” hits like a thunderbolt. What were some of the most effective resources, therapies or strategies that made the difference?
I'm doing it now, changing myself. The person I am currently is a character I created in my teens. So now at 36 I'm becoming who I was meant to become, because deep down, I wanna be this version of myself.
same I will be 35 this month and I want to improve and become the better version of me
@@silentsword18 I wish you all of the best in this world man, good luck to the new you.

Hey, I’m currently a teen and I have created a character that I want to be too! Tho I’m going through some really serious stuff, I’m slowly changing
Slower I am getting better, and I am doing it myself:)
Things still aren’t great but I’m trying
So thank you for inspiring me ❤

Hold your identity as lightly as a feather, but your values as tightly as priceless jewels.
True
My identity was stifled by being in relationships with partners who kept me from growing. I’ve always been an overachiever, and since leaving the last relationship, I’ve published a novel and I’m starting a small business. Focusing on me is a priority.
How did the keep you from growing?
Nobody can keep you from growing. Thats an absolute impossibility. You chose to stay in a relationship where you couldn't be authentic, until ultimately you didn't. People need to take responsibility for the moments in their lives where they weren't showing up for themselves. It's no external person's "fault"
spoken like someone whos truly never had someone they cared about. Look, I dont need preachy "advice" from some dudedude on the internet lol, I DID take responsibility ya genius, and thats why I'm not in those relationships anymore. So go stand on a soapbox on some other persons comment. Byeeee
@@dudedude8931
I am proud of you! Congratulations
If you don’t mind please post your novel here :)
Interesting analogy. I think the most overused phrase on earth is " Just be yourself ". Most people don't know and will never live up to who they really are.
This is fantastic advice! I started journaling in January 2020. It changed my life. I also keep a log of what I do daily (tasks, chores, activities, milestone achieved), because then I know I have been putting in the reps for my goals even if I don't achieve them as fast as I had imagined. It makes it more difficult to give up on yourself.
As someone who learned how to identity shift in his late teens (on my own), I will say that the most important thing is to find a root/foundation which is unchangeable and unshakable. Else you may find yourself "lost at sea". Yes, you might be cruising in the biggest boat you can create, but without a root/foundation, you'll find it impossible to ever find "home" again.
Sort of like a method actor who's great at assuming a ton of roles, but eventually loses sight of the pivotal question "Who am I?". Thus the end result is a person that only wears masks upon masks, and you'll find it very challenging if not impossible to find real connection.
Anyone feel like ppl look at you more in public when you have higher vibrations .. of course with this general population, ppl won’t say anything but there is an attraction
I'm awkward as hell and pretty antisocial but I've caught myself thinking of something funny and apparently smiling from it without realizing it and I notice people always smile really big when I walk past them and normally they wouldn't. I know it sounds obvious but it catches me off guard because I don't expect it
Me too! Also if I'm in a bad mood it seems like people have a mean look on they're faces!
Can you explain why thus is?
People are antenna. They can sense it
They are also thoughtful. It's us recognizing each other.
After 20+ years of smoking I quit over a month ago so my journeys just beginning
I’m 31 orbits around the sun but I feel like $1,000,000! I’m in my prime! lol a lotta people think 30s is horrible but it’s amazing to be alive. I’ve learned a lot from my 20s and I still have a long way to go until I’m elderly so I’m really just vibing 💖 thanks Clark ✨ I’m recovering from a stress induced health condition (EBV) and that kinda thing is full of pessimism in the conventional medical community that I’m so over. I’m a healthy person and trust my body. I also am grateful for the journey bc oddly enough getting sick pushed me closer to my dreams and away from what everyone else wanted me to do 🥰 I feel free and empowered to be myself!
I’ve started listening to my internal whispers that have been getting louder - and they’re all reminding me of who I’ve palmed down over the last couple of decades. It’s scary to realise but also makes me hopeful.
Same lab test with fleas - the baby fleas wouldn't jump higher than parents who had a lid on - when they absolutely could 💥💥💥 I felt engaged in this old identity and then how people treated me - it wasn't me. I knew to keep fighting and some day my true self would come out and boy oh boy she exploded out of me in 2022 🎉🎉🎉. Now it's stabilising and rehabilitation for old trauma based behaviour ❤
Love you Clark. Your talk about the right age was very relevant to me, after having answered the call to adventure at age 46, leaving my comfort zone and a senior position in a top firm, moving to another country to start afresh, and questioning myself yesterday on it... happy to hear your affirmation and will now stick to your suggestions ..Thank you
I can verify the goldfish thing lol we won a goldfish at a street fair and put it in our 10 gallon fish tank and he/she quadrupled in size, the biggest goldfish I’ve ever seen! 🤩 Grow bigger everyone!! 🎉❤
I am reinventing myself - I am coming out of a decade of severe illness from tick diseases & mold illness.
Diagnosed adhd which explains so much of my life - started on modafinil which has been a game changer! My brain is finally clear & I can focus & actually FINISH tasks!!
I am simplifying my life, getting rid of all the clutter that built up, simplifying my schedule, self care is a priority as is self development.
I have said many times during my illness that I just want my life back- but my life wasn’t great mostly due to my own poor choices.. I don’t want my life back- not the old life anyway..
I am reinventing myself, developing myself into someone new & better- transforming into the best me.. it feels great to be on this path!
Identity shifting is so powerful! Loved the way you've broken it down 🔥
Thank You. I love the not focusing on becoming a new person, but becoming an improved version of myself. ❤
Absolutely love your content and your sincere benevolence for other people who are struggling. Thank you!
Thanks! I've watched many videos on this subject, but this was very easy to understand. Indeed focusing more on what you do well instead of what can be improved can shift your life so much.
Your videos are excellent in every single aspect. I’m a 55-year-old person but I can still get some benefit from your suggestions. Thanks for your great job. ❤
You explain things very well. Great video. Lots of valuable insights.
I embrace my core self. I use my negative beliefs to take action! Best advice, this helps more than you know! 😊Blessings to ALL!
Me too, finally. Spend the last 48 years pleasing everyone else and living up to THEIR dreams...
Bro i was scrolling down and suddenly you popped up I think you are gonna be my inspiration ❤
Man! This really opened my eyes. Loved it. New sub.
Its true. Pivot and pivot again.
Currently reading psycho-cybernetics. Really eye opening so far.
Dude thanks nothing but great advice no pitching or selling I love it!
Almost skipped this video, heard this many times but the way you explained hit home, thank you !
This was such a well crafted video! So many great points
EXCELLENT! This is my second video of yours. Watched your Overthinking video last night. All things I Desperately needed to hear. Great videos and Content! SUBSCRIBED!!
Love this content and the other videos. If you are not coming from a Christian background, you can skip the rest of this comment. For anyone coming at this identity thing with even a hint of Christianity, you would also enjoy Tim Keller's work. And Keller offers a bit of caution in this transformative process. More specifically, that self-actualization runs into problems because "becoming fully oneself” does not factor in God typically. We want to become more like Christ through our transformation. Content like Clark's can work if we think about our core (4:09) in the context of our creator--humanity as a reflection of God's image. And in the same way Clark talks about shedding beliefs and stories, we can shed this idea of earning God's love or approval. He loves us first, knowing we are naturally rebellious. We do good works and try to become better people because we are loved--not to earn love.
This is the video I need on changing my identity thanks so much man
I love your videos, and I only just discovered your channel yesterday. your videos really aim to bring someone back to their core personality. It doesn't talk about changing yourself entirely like other people's videos. I just wish I was able to join your program because I'm 15 years old and I don't want to fake my age to apply for it
No worries. You don't need expensive programs. All the advice you need is online free, it's just a matter of assembling it for yourself.
When we are ready , then we are step in that position. It’s about the timing meanwhile we are working on ourselves internally.
A lot of excellent points about self-reinvention. Never really looked at it from the angles you outlined. I've been trying to adopt self change for a while now more than ever in my life, but always been pulled back by the outside view. Sort of how you said the "identity" you were given growing up and the things you tell yourself. This has spoken to me in ways I've never taken the time to think about. Will definitely check out the book you talked about as well for a deeper dive into the mind of the writer's view.
I freaking love this. Reconnectimg & reaffirming right now
I wish I could borrow Clark for one month . Would be a dream to have his guidance and help to become my greatest version.
He has programs to guide you!
Watch all his videos
@@cathylucille5136 oh I know I'm just really struggling with self discipline hard rite now. I miss that feetas a kid or young adult when u be afraid not to do the work or u get punished or fired. Someone in person to crack the whip I need I've let myself become so weak. BUT I guess it's time put my big boy pants on😊
He has a program you can join!
I would really urge you to consider joining metamorphic. Clark has designed an incredible program and his team of coaches there are just as incredible. They also do live calls too!
This is exactly what I needed right now. Thank you for the age stuff. I have said that I am too old for this or that.
It is easier to get into a rut than it is to get out of the same rut, and the only difference between a rut and a grave are the dimensions.
Another difference is how long you stay in them
I’ve answered the call and am
Working on publishing my 7th book. 😊 This video has given mw ideas on how to get to that next level!
I'm seeing THE HERO'S JOURNEY in my life right now.
💜💜💜
That making a list of all the wins is a great idea. Tracking success vs intentions. Cool.
Thanks man! Very inspiring and helpful! 👍🏼🙏✌️
Very effective information, thank you very much. But I have additional information, which is that we should allow our previous feelings to go and never resist them in order to be liberated from the limited self that we have, and from here we can be more creative.
This is the best video ever for me!
Love all ur videos, but this is by far ur best 1 🔥
“Negative emotions are a call to action” 🗣️🗣️💪🏽💪🏽
Like the format!
Brilliant video Clark.
Dear Clark, behold your fix-all video's claim,
"Change inside, you'll never be the same!"
Max Maltz snipped but soon did see,
Plastic tweaks don't set the spirit free.
"Answer the call!" you gleefully shout,
Change your essence, inside and out.
Shed your shadows, stack your wins,
Reinvent daily-the new you begins.
Thanks, Clark, for your grand advice,
I'll morph my identity, roll the dice.
With a sprinkle of psyche and a dash of Zen,
I'll craft a new me, but… who am I again?
I was once a very active personal trainer. After years of inactivity, I enrolled in yoga teacher training. I struggle with my depression and I am super uncomfortable in class because it is full of people that don't look like me. I am trying to push through and get a certification.
THIS is excellent practical advice.
I just figured it out, everybody wants to be good, wants to be rich, wants to be productive but as you were telling there is something pulling them down initially it is fear of unknown but over time it becomes a pattern in everything that we think but "if you believe that everything is your decision it's yours and there is no voice inside you every decision it's yours naturally that voice would go down and true beliefs about yourself would shine. It works really well if your struggling with addiction.
I love your video 📷 Greetings from Bavaria, Germany
great video and break down
This made me excited about my current circumstances lmao give me an adventure! 💪🏽🏃🏽♀️
Honestly, the reason I'm listening to you right is because you're young, so you see things the way we all do.
Young?
He's got no wrinkles or gray hair. Young.
This video is brilliant. Thank you. It would be amazing if you put out a book on this topic. I'd buy it immediately!
So clearly said. Thank you.
Peace+Love
To ALL who see this
and ALL who dont!

Amazing information thank you so much 🖤
Thanks, Clark.
Very cool.
Love this!
Youre a genius bro
You look really good with white hair
Great advice here 👏👍
Thats a fabulous book!!!
I love it. Whenever I feel sick I manifest that I am Xerc.
Thank you Maria! Looks incredibly tasty. Beautiful life and story.
You are talking about me 😂😂😂 thank you ❤
Thank you❤️
I did mine by accident… kinda off.
I built my own house an ambition since aged 10.
I worked on it for 4 years … I never went out etc I just worked on the house.
In that time I let myself go 😒
But then began caring about my appearance more I realised my image was soo different from 4 years ago… I have fair hair to mix in with the grey I developed 😂
I like myself more …
Thank you!!
Identity shift IS NOT A JOKE! Millions of families soffer it every year
I show people photos of how I looked during 2021, and they're all shocked I look completely different, I learned how to shift identity
I feel like my reason to live is to write and even if my writing was complimented by my teachers I can't see myself to realize my dream to make peoples live through my stories so just writing a short paragraph will make me embarassed and lose confidence there's a lot of amazing writer so standing out feel so far out of my reach hope I can get through it
Was just thinking this, when is the right time?? Society and other people dictate what we feel/ think about everything.
Identity shift is not a joke Clark
Love Clark's videos on transformation, but sometimes I want to shift my understanding of the past! If anyone else feels that way, my channel, The History Code, is all about digging up those fascinating facts that completely shift how you see the world.
I’m in the starting stage of this
Identity Shedding 💥
I want to meditate and get closer to God!
Even you noticed 😮 my bog nose!!
Every time I hear Gary Vee it reminds me of the reel in which the kid had to guess the person and he read his name as gravy 😭😭 and was like gravy that we eat 😭😭
Love it
I do it all the time
Great.
Well said.. i am too old or i am too young..👌👌
100's of thousands?? Wow!
I changed my life with Seinfeld episode “George does the opposite”
I am very shy boy and I want to become very enthusiastic and extrovert person
Would love to do ur program! The cost however is prohibitive
Maybe shift your identity to someone that cuts to the chase instead of a narc garnering supply
Didnt know that about holdfush
How do you create a identy shift if you are dealing with extreme anxiety? No matter how much i try to change my reality my anxiety kicks in.
Clark, have you read 'The Four Agreements' by Don Miguel Ruiz?
Im just here cuz im tryna get a good mindset to lose weight. My willpower is practically non existant
You don’t need a good mindset for that Bobby . You just need a routine. Just like eating, sleeping etc etc other routine stuff , getting physically active can be turned into a routine. Go out and walk while listening to this video. Be consistent until it turns into a regular thing. Good luck! You can do it if you really want it!😊👍
It’s REAL life experiences and we have false advertising happening because they have convinced them they have to coach when employees are what they are supposed to be Gary v was highly accurate we need no coaches doing this
