If I remember correctly, i said: I don't even have enough knowledge to critically examine you..
Now, .. that I graduated from you
I think you are amazing
I am so grateful that I can be here typing this for you
❤🎉
"Don't take criticism from people you wouldn't take advice from"
Love that
So true
Literally the best time in my life was when I was not judging anyone, not even myself, and discovered that no one wasn’t really judging me either but were supporting of a more authentic self
I always think if people have nothing better to think or talk about than me, then they must have very sad lives and I'm glad I can give them something to focus on. Long time of not giving a fuck what people think of me. I am respectful of me and them but what they think of me is water off a ducks back. Thankfully my 16 year old feels the same. She is one of the most popular girls and friends to all. Won't bad mouth anyone and doesn't care if others don't like her friends views or opinions. I learnt a lot from her. Life's too short to worry about other peoples opinions.
You can never win against someone who doesn't care, who doesn't mind being alone. It's been my experience that most people are shit, and as such I need nothing to do with them...I'm happiest alone...
This video was a Godsend today. Thank you Clark. I'm 41 & crave to be at the point of my life where I just don't give a fuck anymore! Much ✌️💖🤗😁
Thank you Clark, you hit the bull's-eye there! I quit smoking and drinking for 75 days, 45 days of semen retention and I don't give a shit about anything anymore)) I've even started recording videos. Subscribed.
That's awesome! I've been off booze for a week now and it's hell.
That's the spirit buddy, respect!
Everything is falling into place.
Some stranger somewhere still remembers you because you were kind to them when no one else was. Just a reminder. 😉
Non judgement is definitely something I want to channel. I really overthink things when people react a certain way or they say something I wasn’t excepting but with non judgement I can just be a listener rather than trying to get the desired outcome 😊
This is the kind of knowledge that everyone should learn. We must pass this on to the next generation. 🍀
Well done Clark, thank you.
we are in the same energy the right topic in minutes. Thanks
Thanks, Clark ! Your tip about taking focus off yourself is GOLD. This is a little trick I've recently begun to adapt. I decided if I started to get self conscious in a crowd I would look around and try to notice things and people around me. It really works! It's great to have this tip confirmed !!
Thanks Clark! Your message always hits when I need it. Much appreciated! ❤
You and Dan Koe are the Best of RUclips! Thanks for your work!
This is very true , blessings to all❤
The perfect way to start the day! Thank you, Clark! ❤
All these principles are spot on, if everyone on RUclips we’re to embrace this mentality , half of the comments on all channels would disappear
Perfect timing!
Definitely something I need to work on 👍
I love these vids. Such gold!!!
Thanks for sharing your insight Clark!
Your messages always resonates with me!
I quit drinking 397 days ago!
I found a higher power to assist me, and have been doing AA which helped in the beginning, & I love the fellowship, but most the people are always dwelling on their past!
My Wife has depression, I've been attempting to get her to listen to you, take your program but she won't make the time, she's at the BOTTOM of that scale, in the RED!
Anyway, I look forward to taking it someday soon myself!
I was 14 when I started drinking & doing drugs and turn 65 in April!
50 years of addiction, although I was a high productivity producer so I couldn't be called on my addictions!
FEELS GREAT TO BE REALLY ALIVE NOW!
Love sharing with others, and working on doing that, I believe that someone may benefit from my experiences & journey!
Gonna FLY !
Peace & Love...LOVE YOU ALL!
💯✌️😉👉♥️

Thank you again Clark! This is the wisdom worth passing on to our kids. Keep on your great work. You are a great inspiration and always a pleasure to listen to 🙌
I really needed to see this movie tonight. Having problems in my life with others and over caring about what they think. Great video ❤
Thank you very much for this video.
Very well said with radical self-acceptance and self-development becoming antagonistic forces beyond a certain threshold. Thank you for the video.
I needed this
It is hard to learn to train yourself to NGAF but it is a life skill necessary in a successful life nowadays
Absolutely makes perfect sense 👍👍

Awesome! love this channel! Agree 💯
So while taking some notes from this video, I kind of started writing my own thoughts about what self-acceptance is, and I thought, why not share them with anyone willing to listen?
Self-acceptance and self-improvement are not mutually exclusive. They are two sides of the same coin, because they aren't really about change, they're about growth. I want you to think of the person who couldn't ride a bike when they first tried. You wouldn't say they need to change as a person to become a bicycle rider, they just have to work on it for some time. And that time might be days or it might be months, if he ever learns to ride a bike, the time it took doesn't even matter. You wouldn't say he's a different person because now he rides a bicycle. He didn't change, he grew to ride a bicycle.
So self-acceptance is not about ignoring our flaws. That is almost the opposite by definition, but we often do this in two ways that almost feel like we are actually accepting ourselves. Those are pretending those flaws don't exist, and acknowledging they're there but thinking we have to act like they aren't. Someone who wants to ride a bike can't start by pretending they actually can, or knowing they can't but thinking that if they don't do nothing about it, it won't be a problem. Key aspect here being that they WANT to ride a bike, it wouldn't be an issue if they truly didn't care about riding one, and I'll touch upon this later.
Self-acceptance is also not about thinking our flaws are permanent, and that we can do nothing about them. There's cases where there are things that are permanent, but usually we can still do something about it to improve it. Thinking "I'm just lazy" or "I'm an asshole" and "that's who I am and there's nothing to do about it" is not self-acceptance, because what you're doing is just showing no accountability. It's letting go of any responsibility to ourselves by pretending it's an external factor you can't control. That's a particularly insidious form of the previous lack of self-acceptance, but instead of pretending the flaws don't exist, we pretend it's not really our fault.
So, self-acceptance is about understanding the level that we're at. It's about understanding we will have aspects and obligations in life, even essential ones like taking care of our mental health, or maintaining and forming new social relationships, that we will just plain suck at at the beginning. We just have to work on it, and learn how to ride the bicycle of life. It can take us days, or it can take us months, but it won't matter when we get there.
All that said, there is an important balance to be struck here. If you're an asshole, you might not want to change it, but you probably need to in order to improve some other aspect of your life like your social relationships. If you intend to write creatively you probably want to be more creative even if you don't need to. But blindly thinking we can outgrow every single negative aspect of us is short-sighted, because it falls back on the wish to become someone else. Those goals might be worth pursuing, but not all of them are. The trick is understanding which is which. The example of Clark's friend with a "hole in the chest" from the video shows this. Sometimes, all we need to "fix" our flaw, is to not fix it at all and realize it's not one. Clark's friend had something that might be considered a "flaw", but he realized he doesn't need to change it, and he doesn't want to change it. If you have a flaw you don't need or want to change, it's not a flaw, it's a feature.
Finally, how does one understand what to change or not change? Well, most of the time, we will only know the answer after we try. Over the course of trying to become a better person (i.e. the best version of YOURSELF), you will inevitably try to change something that you didn't really have to. That doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to improve, that's just part of the process, and in a way, a proof that you are actually working towards that best version of yourself. This is a process which you will never truly finish, because you won't ever be perfect. But that's kind of a beautiful thing, to know that it is always possible to be better than you were yesterday.
Great job making this video!!!! This is very helpful and extremely IMPORTANT!!!! 😊
One of the best videos that I've ever seen, thanks a lot
This video was epic!!
I’ve had toxic and narcissistic people in my life and went no contact and I will never be sorry for letting go. 👍👍that’s how I feel about my opinion 😊
I love your videos. Thanks
Loved this video, and really loved when you shared about your alcohol-free status. I'm currently on Day 81 of my alcohol-free journey!💪🏽
Great tip thank you 🎉 really helpful
I've been trying to teach this to a very close younger friend, thank you for making a full- length video about it
I love your stuff. I watched this while driving and now I feel less toxic.
Keep your eyes on the road 👀 lol
Great video
Bro you are best,you helped a lot❤❤
Nice humour at the end, right there 🤣❤️
Thanks bro i learnd alot
Being judgmental as a reflex is something I really want to work on. I know it says more about me and my own insecurities that it does about anyone I may be judging and I always feel bad when I look back on my thoughts. I’ll give it a go for a week.
This was great, thank you. I struggle with caring, so much so its not helping me with starting a channel. I want to and it would bring value. But I talk myself out of it,, the haters are so cruel.
I like Clark! Clark is my friend!
Good stuff
Thank you
I definitely like his videos. As a musician, I live in a really crappy scene with toxic people who are usually jealous and crazy. I've had a lot of people talk bad about me who don't even know me, and I have been trying to recover from being emotionally scarred. I have many haters, stalkers, and many true stories, too many to count. Primarily a singer, I no longer join bands anymore because I hate most people, I think most people try to trash you if they can't use you, and get jealous when they see you doing better with other people. It makes me sick, and I really need to try to have this mentality, but unfortunatley in the entertainment world, as this guy probably knows, it's a different story. People do turn their heads, they do gossip. Hell, this guy is hot and very intelligent, but if he rejects someone I wonder if he gets the same thing? Whether or not your a good person, people who don't know you are going to talk bad, and it's sadly inevitable. I guess moral of the story is remember is the smallest dog barks the loudest, and you just have to shrug off the haters.
The laugh I had around the 6 minute mark was great. Thanks :)
I love your videos and they have helped me so much, I like to say your efforts on teaching and helping people like me, we appreciate your work and continue to work on ourselves with your guidance
Sometimes it is necessary to care what other's think of us so that we can understand their mindset. I ignored so many red flags just because I was like, why should I care what they think.
Great tips, thanks man! I think you're talking about Brian on self acceptance right? Great example
Non judgmental towards people. Wow this is so true but it’s hard!
challenge accepted, I will start at work tomorrow!
I’ve been going lots of guilt and anger in myself over something I did two months ago, piece of advice I can give to all is do not let guilt an anger take over your mental health. I let it happen to me and it completely made me so unmotivated to work at my job and all I wanted was to be with my family who are always there for me.
True
Awesome
Hi Clarke. I find your content really interesting and it’s inspired me to do some self development. A question I have and I’d love see some content on is - can you be your own therapist?
Mark Manson wrote a pretty good book on the subject, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck.
Hmmmm no judgement for a week....I'll lyk how it goes!
I will come back in a week! ✨
Dude looks like Ryan Reynolds from waiting.
Yes find the fun when I take things too seriously.
I stopped giving a fuck awhile back. Life/ game changer.
Extremely honest and useful video… what an arc of self-improvement and quality… congrats! What’s up with the the jumper? Its color have popped suddenly? :) thanks anyways
I'm just here for the tip
Love these types of videos, thanks Clark!
Be interested instead of interesting...got it...
I'm almost 40, and that's not true. I care more now than I did when I was 26.
Why do you care?
Good one. That's what I need. See u l8r
i am really scared of teachers at school honestly, I overthink so much because “everything i am doing reflects on my reputation among the teachers and my grades, my future studying in university depends on my grades and my future depends on that” and idk what to do about it, for example i wanna skip school tomorrow because i feel like i am just too tired and i need ti rest but i am shaking now because my teacher is gonna be angry and it will influence on my life and grades😭
Coming for us with that thumbnail 😳
Sometimes you get only one group where you can hang out but it's very hurtful if they don't include you or just ignore you and your words, they keep talking with other members of the group. Hence I have started living with my own still not anyone to share, talk or have fun. Is it my good decision to just not care about them anymore and start enjoying my own company?
I love you
😢 but i still care 😭😭😭
Service, Service, Service, Help others! ❤ get out of ur head.
Yes to all of this except the part about 40 and 60 year olds not caring what people think lol. 😂
Just the tip 🤭
Wow
8:44 Be interested instead of being interesting
See you next week after the challenge 😂
❤️
BRO NOTHING WORKS WITH ME AM I BRAIN DEAD ? NOTHING HELPS I CAN TRY NOT TO CARE BUT I STILL FEEL LIKE SHIT
Don't give up there's always a way look at it from a different angle.. u probably got a good heart 🕊️🌏🙏 . Keep your head up
Advice starts 2:34
That's day one stuff dude. I went against the whole planet and the first thing I said was I don't give a fuck what u think about me, I have a job to do.
Not to toot my own horn but I'm pretty good at making people laugh. In mixed company I sometimes notice that one person. They will talk over me or look downright angry when I crack another joke. It makes me dial it back a notch. Should I not give a F and just be myself? I'd hate to be the guy who "shows off".
Guys, could someone please explain this part to me 13:31 because I’m sort of confused what needs to be done exactly
I might not be an expert, but im I can safely say that middle finger is NOT the solution.
Hi😎
What about 18 and you don't care. Science is then dynamic.
