Try Zeppelina (zeppelin cabbage dumplings). if you’re a beer drinker you’ll have a great time because it’s really cheap and really good. Just returned from my first trip to Vilnius and the Lithuanian countryside. LOVED Vilnius! What great vibe and Old Town is beautiful!! We also made it to Neringa and Palanga. Can't wait to return! (no mention of the Frank Zappa statue in the video; I'm heartbroken...)
My father came from Vilnius. He was born in 1911 and died in 2006. He told us so many stories about his life, from packs of wolfs to being traded in the war by the Russians to the Germans. He escaped and ended up in England. He would have loved your video. Thank you

Thank you for the video Jacob! I'm coming to Vilnius for a week in May and will be checking out the city using the spots in your video! I'm stoked - labai ačiū!
I did a car share trip around Lithuania and the Baltic states a few years ago and found everybody in the country to be really welcoming and friendly. I had never heard of Vilnius before that trip but I had a great time in the city, I'd highly recommend hiring a bike and exploring the city and Vingis Park, which feels more like a forest to be honest, it's pretty huge.
Jacob, the footage in this video is out of this world. From the shots way above the city, trees and waters, to the shots of you blending into the sun like an angel coming down the sky, this video is one of your most visually breathtaking ones ever, if not the most. You have inspired me to visit Vilnius and Lithuania in general. When will I do it? That's to be determined, but I hope sooner rather than later, because my interest is now greater than ever, and that's thanks in part to this video. Every time you post a video, I get excited because I've discovered that my true calling in life, is somewhere along the lines of what you do. Europe has a special place in my heart thanks to the high school class trip I went on to Italy, and the Paris and London trip you helped me and my girlfriend go on earlier this year. I feel that it provides fresh new life for me, which is something I need to experience more often on a daily basis. Stay curious as always bro and WHEN I come to Lithuania, do you think you could show me around if you're in the area? Thanks. #WeAreExploriors

Vilnius is amazing actually. Deserves more attention ❤
I’ve heard of Lithuania but had no idea how beautiful this country was until I came across your channel.
I happened to pass one of your videos a second ago, saw your last name, and immediately thought “he’s gotta be Lithuanian” lol I am too, but born in the US, and I so rarely come across Lithuanian names here, seeing one always makes me so excited! :)
This was exactly what I wanted to see about Lithuania. The city, its architecture and lifestyle. You covered it all. Keep up the great work. 🤘🏻
super modern and historical areas side by side, extremely clean with lush green spaces...you really did a good job in promoting your hometown Jakob.
Wow, the most beautiful city I've never heard of!
@Stanley Burgess lol
@Steven Moore The whole Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was, but he still got a point.
I am now currently in your city and I must say that it's so freaking beautiful! ❤ Happy 700th birthday, Vilnius!
Vilnius to miasto magia, kto był w Wilnie chce tu wracać. .Kocham Wilno i chętnie wracam co roku...Przepiękne miasto ..
Jacob, so excellently and so passionately written and delivered! I am 70 years old, and my mother, my uncle and my grandfather (who died of cancer 10 days before I was born) were all Lithuanian. You make me want to visit Vilnius, but I would want a guide just like you to show me this lovely city.
You're a bloody legend Jacob, and your country must be so proud that you are of it's own! Such an incredible production man. You should literally be hired by schools to produce these videos for the classroom. So informative and captivating! You're the best, Jacob! #WeAreExploriors
Brings me back to my visit to this city last year. Felt it wasn’t long enough. Hope to go back
Wonderful, thank you ♥️ Been to Vilnius many times!
Please put Riga/Latvia on the map too, for the Balts...♥️

If that's your picture then you should make the video. I'd watch.
Have you been ro Klaipėda Kaunas and Trakai? 👌🇱🇹
@@saulgoodman5451 yes, I've been to Klaipeda and Kaunas! Lovely places!
This is the most genuine video I've seen on RUclips. You're so proud of your city, and I love it. Booking to visit now OMG! :)
Man honestly your videos are amazing. And also thanks for giving me more knowledge about Vilnius, love from Estonia 🇪🇪🇱🇹
A nicely produced piece. You've presented Vilnius in a fashion that entices one to visit. Darbas gerai atliktas.
I was there recently, beautiful city and really nice vibe about the place. What a great video too!
Labai gera apžvalga, mūsų puikiojo miesto Vilniaus!
Lovely and interesting city which I visited last week. Beautiful buildings and lovely parks I loved to spend some time in.
My father came from Vilnius. He was born in 1911 and died in 2006. He told us so many stories about his life, from packs of wolfs to being traded in the war by the Russians to the Germans. He escaped and ended up in England. He would have loved your video. Thank you
I lived in Vilnius for 6 months and I still can’t forget those amazing times.I will visit definitely again...
Thank you very much for showing me Lithuania. As a newly discovered Lithuanian (from ancestral heritage), I'm really excited to discover how wonderful the "old" country really is and I can't wait to visit!!
If you haven't visited it yet, I recommend spending 8 days here: 3 in Vilnius, 0.5 in Trakai, 2.5 in Kaunas and 1-2 in Klaipėda
You are a wonderful ambassador for your lovely city. Your pride for your city, the people and your country’s history is inspiring. I look forward to visit some day. 👍🏻✌🏻
I’ve been here actually. I’m 25% Lithuanian so I went a couple years ago. Vilnius is awesome
James Geshel this made me laugh i’m sorry. 25% 🤣🤣🤣🤣. i’m glad you like lithuania though. make my lithuanian self happy
I'm Polish, but 12.5% Lithuanian, also 12.5% German lol. I'm a true Central European.
@@matthew5556 Lithuania is categorised as North Europe, so that identity of yours is in jeopardy.
@@rds7516 north Europe is all the Scandinavian countries though?
@@rds7516 That depends on who does the categorizing as Lithuania is both categorized as East Europe and North Europe. Poland is categorized as Central Europe, Central-East Europe, East Europe and North Europe.
Thanks for this great Video! Excellent shots, by the way. I’m a US architect and I was lucky enough to visit Vilnius during “Open Doors”, a festival that lets you visit lots of amazing buildings that are mostly closed to the public. Great experience, great city! I highly recommend you to visit!
Vilnius is already a beautiful city and Jacob Laukaitis who has a beautiful heart makes this city and country proud. Can't wait wearing your exploiror shirt to visit Vilnius and rest of the world.
You come from a great country, great city, modern new country, internet savvy with a mind and attitude of great quality of scandinavian people.
Well done Jacob! Damn, you put a lot of work into this one. Any exciting travel plans for the winter? Howdy from Armenia.
Thank you for the video Jacob! I'm coming to Vilnius for a week in May and will be checking out the city using the spots in your video! I'm stoked - labai ačiū!
The quality of this video production is incredible. I definitely want to visit your hometown now!

This is such a good video! Really want to visit both Vilnius and Lithuania now! You have done your city proud :)
I have been to Vilnius and I would highly recommend it. If you go there you need to see the University and take the tour under the Cathedral.
I was there last week thanks to Erasmus+ ♥️♥️♥️
Cool, where are you from? 😎

Thanks.

Vilnius and the rest of Lithuania is high on my bucketlist. My great grandfather was born there but escaped to South Africa before the 2nd WW. Hoping to visit next year December
I’m graduating college in may and I’m backpacking Europe for a month. Vilnius needs to be one of my stops. The little Bohemian ‘republic’ sounds like a dream. Have to get there ❤
Me and my boyfriend are moving to Vilnius in 10 days and this video was amazing for us to understand a bit more where we're going. I can not wait !!
