Practice being conscious of your perception within the poses and notice how you handle the things you discover on the mat. If that isn’t motivation to take some time to move and cycle through some deep breaths - I don’t know what is.

It gave me chills when you said “peace in our thought, peace in our words, peace in our hearts” Today marks the first day of my 3rd year doing YWA every single day. About a year or so ago when I first heard you utter those peaceful words it shook me to the core and has profoundly changed my life for the better. I now pay close attention to what I say and think, striving to not say hurtful things about others or about myself. And this really translates into greater peace in my heart. Practicing a focus on peace and gratitude has taken a huge metaphorical weight off my shoulders. Thank you for guiding me in yoga, it has, and continues to improve every aspect of my well-being.🙏❤️🧘

Intention : breathe and just do my best
I focus on finding what feels good today as my body is tired although my mind is urging to push myself harder but today I honor my body's needs, I have to trust that I did my best by showing up for the practice and the rest of the day will be spent on resting to rejuvenate me again to work tomorrow. This is one lesson I learned from praticing yoga, to be kind to myself and know how to pause but still I know I have done my best by showing up and just do it.

EMBODY | March 11, 2022 | 💞 Reporting for duty as a warrior in Peace. I just love this centering practice, it's slow and intentional and leaves me feeling so calm. And I can just picture all the vibrations of peace spreading like rings on water through the world as we all practice it at different times of the day. Peace in my thoughts. Peace in my words. I still underestimate the power of yoga. Sometimes I don't feel like doing it. I'm like ugh...but then once I do it, I can't believe that I had such a hard time getting around to it. It really does make me feel so much better. I feel more balanced and at peace.

Arrived here after ‘Breath’ so great to continue the journey with everyone.
I feel like this is a great choice for a first practice after BREATH, lots of reminders today - trusting the ground is there for you when you step back was the main one that I took away from this practice, and of course, moving with the breath. I felt a bit lost after finishing our journey yesterday, but after hearing that familiar musical intro again, I feel like I'm back on the path once more.

After about a two month break from yoga maybe, I decided to change my goal from every day yoga to at least once a week. That's a goal that is more manageable and more encouraging (if I do more, then it's more of a win, rather than missing one day and failing the goal). I just moved yesterday, and boy I am exhausted and my body aches. But I feel renewed and stronger after doing this practice. I'm super tight and stiff, and this helped soften. Thank you 💕 here's to doing more yoga in this new space :)

Ohh I can't tell you how pleased it's made me to see all the comments from people who are here after the BREATH Yoga Journey. I've been feeling sad that it's over because it was just such an amazing experience and so beautiful to know that I was practicing at the same time as lots of the wonderful community around the world and I was worried that feeling was going to go away at the end of the month. Knowing that a lot of us are still here and still practicing together makes me feel like I still have that connection to you all and makes me feel a lot better. Thank you.

This is one of my all-time favorite YWA sequences. It moves slowly enough to allow one to feel more into each pose. Each time I encounter it, I find something new. Meditate day 17. 774 days in a row.

I totally agree William. I was feeling a bit off today and almost switched it out thinking Planks and Lizard might be too much. But I’m so happy I went with it. I had forgotten what a gentle start it has and it ended up just being perfect.

Skipping around on the Embody calendar...decided to do this practice today. Really loved it for the body and for the message. So true how attitude is everything. This is something that I am working on...to not react & lose my patience when something I am not happy about happens or something goes wrong. I have to say the practice of yoga has really helped my attitude. There are days where I slip back into the old way of thinking but I try to not beat myself up over it too much and keep going forward to be a more peaceful person with a better attitude. Namaste to you all and thank you for practicing with me.
I am working on the same thing: a positive attitude and since i am practicing YWA i am happier and calmer and more relaxed and balanced. So totally aggree. Namaste
Wow! 7 months since I last did this practice. I relished it just as much this time as I did last time. My work life is still miserably chaotic but I had a peaceful day off today in preparation for the chaos of celebrating my little girls 30th birthday tomorrow. Blink and 30 years went by 🥰

Yesterday being my birthday brought me to the mat needing the oldie but goodie...Yoga for digestive flow...to make ya glow! LOL!! But after I finished I felt the need to join my fellow Breath people on Feb. day 1. That sense of community is so deep this year! I hope to see all of us continuing together! I know none of you, but I felt something missing not doing today's practice with you all. That's so cool.

So glad that as one door closes on BREATH another door opens onward to another journey with BRIDGE. Followed Adriene for what seems like such a long time but only dipped in and out and now finally feel I have found the commitment to look forward to each daily practice and to stick with it. Meditate day 17. November 2022. Very happy to get through this practice, even holding dolphin for the full amount of time. Still have a bad cough, so focused on breathing. Shoulder gave out a bit.
Celebrate day 19. September 2022. The dolphin pose took me by surprise- shoulder not quite up to it. So I held for a moment or two and then went into puppy posture. Lovely peaceful start to the week.
I’ll do this one another day. I swapped for one from my ‘Go To’ list to test my fitness, it needs some work, inactivity due to all this rain ☔️ here in England 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕

Like many, I've been on this journey in quarantine. While the days seem so repetitive and it's easy to feel like we're just holding and waiting for life to start again, I'm still so amazed at the magic of yoga.
This was a beautiful practice. It made me realise new things about myself, which is truly incredible when we consider how static life has been over the past weeks. Nurture was such a gift to wake up to every morning in these strange times! Very excited for Meditate, and so grateful for everything you do for us Adriene, and for this community. I'm doing Nov. 2022 out of order as were camping back to Fl. Tonight we are in Panama City, Fl and waiting out Hurricane Nicole. It's very windy/rainy, but not bad. The practice today , Peaceful Warrior, was so needed and calming. Thanks for this Peaceful Practice🙏🏻

I was excited to start BREATH, showed up for the first two days, then fell off and did no yoga for the rest of the month. But now I'm ready to begin again, and very grateful to Adriene for her monthly calendars that are always available as a support for anyone, at any time, who wants to give themselves and their health another chance to show up.
The pose with the one knee over the other and twist is my favorite of this practice!!

My gomukhasana needs more practice but I gained progress now and I am excited to see myself one day that I can do it properly and better, for now I just enjoy what my body can form and breathe.

Bridge Day 1. Day 120 in a row. Feb. 1, 2021. This was a nice bridge from our 30 day Breath program. Wasn't too bad managing today with a reaggravated stress fracture in my left foot.

Oh this one is a gem. I hit a couple personal records (straightened my leg in runner’s stretch for the 1st time!!), opened my tight shoulders, which I probably haven’t done in like, forever😄, and it all felt SO. GOOD. Namaste to all peaceful warriors practicing out there.💕🦋

This class reminded me of why warrior is one of my favorite poses. It reminds me of how strong I am and how I can be even in the most difficult of moments. I struggle with maintaining an active daily practice but each time I jump back in, I and my body why in fact we practice. This evening I had the pleasure of practicing with 712 people. Isn't this amazing!?! Thank you for this community Adriene and for always encouraging us and reminding us to soften & return to the breathe. Thank you! :)

Whilst doing the cat- cow sequence at the beginning of the practice i felt an aching in my abdominals as a result of yesterday's core practice! But it felt good to know that i had pushed my body yet still had today's soothing practice to restore it, have a great day everyone :)

Totally the same practiced yoga for years and seasons if doing it every day and seasons of not, some days getting to the mat is the hardest bit, have done about 4 if the 30 days if yoga over the years, after doing Breath I'm more determined to keep up a daily practice! 🙏🏼
