So not everyone was terrified and didn't know what an eclipse was. Anaxagoras (500 BCE) and an Indian astronomer around 500 AD named Aryabhatya knew that this was happening due to shadows. However, Mohammad did not know what it was and was terrified. Allah could have told him what it was instead of showing him grapes. This may have added credibility to the faith.

The first solar eclipse to be predicted was that of 28 May 585 BC, more than a thousand years before Muhammad. It was predicted by Thales of Miletus, though nobody knows how he did it. The mechanism of eclipses was figured out about a century later, meaning that how eclipses work as natural phenomena was understood more than a thousand years before Muhammad. If humans understood what eclipses were so long ago, surely Allah should have cottoned on by the time of Muhammad?
I don't have any problem with a prophet not understanding eclipses, any more than I have a problem with a prophet not offering us a proof of the four-colour theorem., What I have a problem with is a prophet not understanding something but pretending he does,.

I came to this video to see a logically constructed and well thought out argument against the Prophet PBUH but within minutes it became clear that this video just serves as an agenda to further ur anti Islamic bias.
The people of the time assumed the eclipse was caused or even influenced by Prophet Muhammad and any false prophet or deciever would immediately take credit for that and say yes they did cause the eclipse. Why would Muhammad PBUH not take credit for the eclipse if he was as you say a lair?
The Hadith you mentioned clearly states the prophet explaining that eclipses aren’t cause by the birth or dead of someone to the uneducated qurasyh tribes. Which lo and behold is actually true and backed by modern day science….. so no contradictions here. You claimed since Muhammad didn’t take credit for it, because he was worried about being wrong in the future? How flawed do u have to be to give ur own reasoning as to why Muhammad PBUH was indeed correct?
You claim Muhammad PBUH was a liar or most ppl assume he was follow satans order? So why would Satan have Muhammad PBUH tell his ppl to offer prayer during this time and to worship the almighty creator while respecting the fact that the Creator can do things we cannot even comprehend.

As for your final point of predicting the eclipse, that’s also a moot point. Just because you can predict when something will occur with modern day advances does not take away from what phenomena itself…. Surely this was already plausible….. but I guess not. Can modern science explain to the tiniest detail how all the cosmos beings in the universe operate sporadically and uniformly… Science it of itself is very limited in scope and we don’t even have 5% of knowledge of the universe….

Hadith is the saying of the prophet, not God. So what if the prophet doesn't know the scientific explanation on how eclipse happen? It is not like God told the prophet every scientific explanation of all phenomenon. As a devout slaves of God, we all should afraid of His power. No matter the explanation, it is that only by His power that these grand and magnificent phenomenon can happen. It is indeed a reminder for us of His power. Don't be arrogant people and just said,"meh". People who know the scientific explanation of the eclipse will even be more humbled by the power of God.
In Hinduism it is just a natural phenomenon but it has strange effects on humans. An hour before the eclipse, during the eclipse, we are not supposed eat anything. You can drink water doesn't matter. Great job missing the point of that hadith. The Prophet's (saws) son died on the same night an eclipse occured. Many of tjr people then believed it occured because of his sons death. The Prophet (saws) informed them that the eclipse does not occur due to the birth or death of anyone. That sounds genuine to me and does not sound like a charlatan. If he wasnt genuine, he would have said the opposite.
