That cannot be said enough. I personally cannot understand why anyone would follow a prophet or god in the 21st century that (A) caters to the lusts & desires of men (not women) and (B) demands brutal murder of those who "insult" the prophet, 'holy book', or dare to leave Islam. IThey say it is a religion of peace & their god is merciful & compassionate. I think of Inigo Montoya who said, "You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means."

It survives by the virtue of there being a "Muslim world", in that seperative sense. It can only exist so broadly when almost all of the conditions are tailored to nurture it. In other words, it isn't so great at surviving "in the wild". The conditions within the society, the family, everything has to remain just so and for generations and generations, and for "culture" to be fairly exclusionary - without everyone being insulated this way, the religion has a pretty tough time. That's what you see in many countries today. Though I understand what Qaradawi is saying. And that is not to take any good aspects away from those countries or the people, not at all. But it is the reality of things.

If Yasser Qadhi said something it doesn't mean it is 100 percent accurate and true. There could be some circumstance tend to think in that way. A belief can't sustain for a long time by force, if it so they would have reverted back already. What you guys thinking as being a ex-muslim you have earned a degree? No one becomes Muslim by reading Quran, people read Quran after they become Muslim. There is hardly any conversion into Islam today. Most Muslims are Muslims because they inherited this religion from their parents. Islam is "fastest-growing" because Muslims countries today have highest fertility rate (won't last long). Also I double quoted "fastest-growing" because Islam is also the religion with most closeted-apostates. So overall Islam is losing adherents at a rapid rate.

I was really surprised when I heard Dr Yasir say this as I grew up listening to Ahmed Deedat and Zakir Naik saying islam is super peaceful, non-violent, non-coersive and very defence/justice oriented religion.
I love honesty even if I guess its somewhat forced as people are getting more and more informed everywhere.

Perhaps, you should learn to read the whole chapter in context before slandering with lies like your false prophet Muhammad (the parasite of humanity) Matthew 10:34 and its surrounding verses is a message of peace that divides between those who choose it and those who reject it. The division between these two choices explains how Jesus did not come to bring peace but a sword.
The following verse in the same chapter Matthew. For I have come to “set a man against his father”…and “a man’s enemies will be those of his own household”: The dividing line between those who accept Jesus and those who reject Him would even run through families. The sword Jesus spoke of would even cut through families. It has nothing to do with forcing the belief with sword like Islam from the false prophet Muhammad.
Matthew 26:52 even states
Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Therefore, The main context of Matthew 10:34 is talking about presence of Jesus would divides rather than unifies. They have to choose to follow the path of redemption through Christ or follow man-made tradition and ultimately to a path of destruction in the final judgement by 100% Holy God for the penalty of Sins is death. (Romans 6:23)
And, Luke 19:27 is actually part of a parable if you actually bother to read the chapter in Context:

And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
What does this parable mean, it means that finally at the end, Judgement will come from God at his 2nd coming with his saints from heaven at the end of the tribulation timeline.
"Who did not want me to reign over them:" They could try and deny the reign of the master as much as they pleased, but it would get them nowhere. He would rule over them one way or another at the end.
"And slay them before me:" The servants of the master each had to answer to God, but so did his enemies. They met with certain, final judgment. This dramatic and strong ending shows that responding to the reign of Jesus is a life-or-death decision.
The main point of this parable is clear; the kingdom will be delayed, so Christians must concentrate on being faithful servants in the meantime. Our Master has gone away to a far country, and will one day return with His kingdom.

Of course. Islam has almost entirely spread through violence on a grand scale. Today, Islam is trying to spread through a gigantic diaspora from the Middle East and Northern Africa, but it is dramatically failing. Apostasy rates are through the roof (half of Iran has left at minimum, in the USA the rate is at least 24% at last count several years ago, and the pattern is huge jumps every time it is checked). Birth rates are dropping freakishly fast at at least a 45 degree angle, conversions that last more than 5 tears are almost nonexistent.
I was a convert. All but one of the convert ”sister” friends I made have since left islam! 😂 ”Alhamdulillah” I found the truth!

The proclamation that Muhammad is Allah’s prophet happens to be the only original idea in the Quran. It is supported through circular reasoning: “Muhammad is Allah's prophet because Allah says so - and we know that Allah says so because that is what Muhammad says!” It isn't hard to see why the early Muslims had to kill a lot of people to get their point across.

I'm a Muslim, I didn't watch the vid as I don't have to listen to this softy. Anyway, yeah Islam partially spread with the sword as some of the early caliphs weren't pious muslims, and many muslims themselves are worldly in their endeavours. They like to have more riches and lands and pleasures (slavery of women etc). And islam gives extra strength, which makes it harder to withstand the temptations of the world, power corrupts, you can more easily take by force what you want. But generally, people convert to islam out of conviction. Because it's an incredible religion, created by God himself, although it has been watered down a little through human hands, the knowledge that we have available.
Apart from all that, you can't give a representation of ISlam in a small video, especially not by an ex-muslim or non-muslim, it will probably be biased apart from missing enough detail for a 5min vid. Same for representation of islamic history. There's no substitute for educating yourself.

Islam was forced by the sword, for example when christians in Egypt were forced to pay high price of extortion money aka Jizya while being humiliated they decided "out of conviction" that it would be better to convert to Islam to stop the suffering.. that's a conversion forced by the sword.
when a kafir Kings are forced to pay Jizya or risk their countries being invaded, these kings had three options, refuse to pay and fight the Muslim invading forces, pay the extortion money and continuing being a king, or if he can't pay convert to Islam to avoid Muslim invasion.. and when the king convert his people copy him out of fear .. that's also a convertion by the sword... if Islam was that good the world would have been Islamic by now..but only because of blasphemy laws islam survived even according to an islamic scholar in Egypt from al Azhar.

It's most likely the settings in this case, although the channel owner can still remove stuff/ban people by hand.
Fyi: the algorithm is on by default on all channels: therefore it's also RUclips that deletes and/or shadowbans certain comments.
Channel owners can only determine the strength of the Algorithm (if I'm not mistaken) and they can also disallow the use of certain words or combination of words.
Enough folks misuse it though, purely to frustrate peeps with opposite opinions.

I don't think that all Muslims know it. I have met a few, especially ladies, who have the rosy pictures of people accepting Islam when they "heard the message"! If they don't teach history of religion (which they normally don't in grade or high school) and very few people actually bother to read anything historical about their religion, then they simply do not know.

Islam expanded and thrived by using the classic method used by aggressive empires of divide and conquer and the taking advantage of others weaknesses - the Byzantine empire for example was racked by conflicts between different Christian sects - the Copts in Egypt, for example, had been involved in a long struggle with the Catholic/Orthodox government in Constantinople and are said to have facilitated the Arab invasions and later assisted in the further Islamic expansion against Byzantium. Then there was the matter of the very bad treatment of Jews by Christian governments so they had a very strong incentive to side with the Muslims when they expanded into Palestine and later into Spain. Muslim policies were very clever - you don't demand immediate conversion but give the defeated the status of dhimmis which in the fullness of time will result in conversion of later generations. Overall therefore it has to be admitted that they were considerably more tolerant than the Christian powers - a situation that continued with the Ottoman empire where for example, in the areas of central and eastern Europe where they dominated for centuries like Hungary and Transylvania ,Protestant denominations survived in large numbers whereas in the Catholic areas dominated by the Austrian Habsburgs Protestants survived in extremely small numbers because of persecutions.

What is taqiyya (Muslim deception) and why does it matter?
Ask a Muslim about taqiyya and these are the typical responses:
1. Taqiyya is only for the Shia
2. It's only for self-defense under persecution
3. It's not allowed
4. Christians also do Taqiyya
5. Taqiyya is not lying
6. You can't possibly understand it
7. I've never heard of it
8. There's no such thing
9. It's only when your life is threatened
10. It's only during times of war
Islam is a religion of war and its core strategy is deception. The doctrine of deception is called "taqiyya" by the Shia and "muda’rat" by the Sunni. The general term for all Muslims is "hiyal" i.e. "legalistic trickery".
Taqiyya comes straight from Quran 2:225: "Allah will not hold you accountable for unintentional oaths, but for what you intended in your hearts. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Forbearing."
Also, in Quran 3:28, the word for "precaution" is تقية which is Taqiyya according to the qiraat by Ya'qub al-Yamani. "Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution (تقية i.e. Taqiyya) against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination."
All Muslims do taqiyya and tap dance. I have never met one who actually answers your questions. They are behaving like Allah. Quran 3:54 says "ومكروا ومكر الله والله خير الماكرين" "And they deceived and Allah deceived, and Allah is the best the deceivers." Taqiyya has 2 forms: (1) defense against religious persecution or (2) jihadist weapon against unbelievers. Muslims will always insist on the first form when asked about taqiyya and hide the second form from the kuffar. It is the second form of taqiyya which is practised every single day on RUclips.
There are 3 main strategies in taqiyya (or muda'rat or hiyal):
(1) Muruna - “Flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or surroundings, like drinking beer or being tolerant of gay people, believing that it is permissible to deceitfully behave in an un-Islamic manner if it serves the greater goal of advancing Islam.
(2) Tawriya - “Creative lying” or doublespeak where the speaker says something that means one thing while the listener thinks it means something else, during which the speaker’s words technically support the listener’s alternate meaning. An example of tawriya is the Muslim claim that "Islam is a religion of peace". After intense cross examination, and if you're lucky, the Muslim will admit that what he actually means is "Islam is a religion of peace AFTER the whole world converts to Islam (and the Islam of his sect and his particular teacher)."
(3) Kitman - Telling only part of the truth. For example if a Muslim were to say that jihad refers to an “internal spiritual struggle” when actually only a few passages in the Quran refer to it that way and the vast majority of verses refer to jihad as "forceful" or "external" violent, coercive jihad to spread the religion.
The ultimate aim of taqiyya (or muda'rat or hiyal) is to mislead. Muslims don't regard misleading statements as lying. The rest of the world do. So when you speak to a Muslim, expect him to mislead you. Misrepresentation, dissembling, gaslighting, doublespeak, etc. are 100% ok by Muslims and sanctioned by Allah and the "Best Example for Humanity" Muhammad. There is never actual truth from a Muslim, not in the way Christians and other non-Muslims define "truth". Muslims just regard all sorts of intentional misrepresentation as permissable and not lying, especially if perpretrated on non-Muslims and to spread or defend Islam or the Prophet.
Muslims are allowed and obligated to lie to spread Islam. Almost any kind of lie is permissible. Muslims can even tell you lies about Islam, denying embarrassing verses in the Quran or Hadith and even doing taqiyya about taqiyya (“inception” lying). For example, disguising hostility as grievance. “It was in self-defence”, Muslims say, when their religion has killed 700m-1.2b people in its spread over 14 centuries with 80m-400m just in India alone.
A recent example of taqiyya which you can view on RUclips is Muslim apologist Mohammed Hijab saying to a group of women: "You can lie to your spouse. The Prophet says you can do it. It doesn’t have to be a white lie. It can be a black lie." (June 2023)
The most explicit and unequivocal reference for taqiyya is from someone regarded by most Muslims as the greatest Imam of all - Hamid al-Ghazali. In the treatise on Sharia Law “Reliance of the Traveller”, Hamid al-Ghazali, the most renowned Sunni theologian of the Seljuq period (1038-1194), was quoted as saying “Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish it through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible..., and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory. ...One should compare the bad consequences entailed by lying to those entailed by telling the truth, and if the consequences of telling the truth are more damaging, one is entitled to lie …”.
Most non-Muslims are completely bamboozled by this. Especially Christians. Little old Christian ladies would chide other Christians for lying about Christianity even if it was done to "protect" or "spread" the religion. Most non-Muslims just cannot compute that a religion can allow and even oblige its followers to lie to defend and spread the religion. They keep defending Muslims and insist that "all religions teach honesty" and "all religions teach peace". It’s quite comical and sad.
Can you imagine having a taqiyya-spouting Muslim as a co-worker, employee or boss or family member or politician? Can you imagine an entire nation made up mostly of Muslims like Pakistan or Iran or Saudi Arabia? Can you imagine all that taqiyya dissembling where every sentence by every person is forked-tongue doublespeak obfuscation? Can you imagine having a joint-venture partner who doesn't see misrepresentation as dishonesty? No real work will ever get done. The whole time you will spend trying to pin down a slippery eel who takes no responsibility for anything. No wonder most of the failed states and worst nations are Muslim countries.
Muslims lie and deflect with taqiyya because they ALREADY KNOW or STRONGLY SUSPECT that Islam is man-made fraud. They just want to sustain their political power much like the Nazis or Communists. This is their favorite SOP:
1. Claim immediately you’re taking things out of context.
2. Use abrogated verses like 2-256 "No compulsion in religion"
3. Insult you or your intelligence e.g. "You know nothing ..."
4. Declare hadiths to be "daif" even when they are SAHIH
5. Change the topic e.g. to their favorite "God can't have a son"
6. Use fake & debunked excuses like the "wajadaha" excuse for Quran 18-86
7. Use whaboutism by bringing up similar things in other religions
8. “It’s a metaphor. It’s a metaphysical thing.”
9. Strawman the opposing argument (e.g. Christians have 3 gods) and then “win”
10. Declaring "allahualem" (Allah knows best) the Islamic “get out of jail” card
11. When caught, say: "There are some things humans are not meant to understand."
12. Or they’ll just start yelling ad hominems like "Islamophobe" "hater" "pig" to change the topic to you.

Well according to the Quran by Muhammad, Muhammad is above all man and prophets. It is ok for him to covet and take other people's wife even his son.
In Surah 33:37-38 Muhammad is shown to have lusted after and took the wife of his son, Zaid, and so getting his son to divorce his wife as a result to fulfil his "best of all man" desires.
Sunan an-Nasai 3959 also states that Mohammad was caught fornicating with his slave girl in the bed of his wife. And, he swear an oath to his wives to not do it again. However, in Quran 66:1-2 Muhammad later claimed he was given a revelation by Allah to break his oath which forbids him to fornicate with his slave girl.
In the incident of Awtas in which the prophet’s companions captured a village. The sahabah (companions of Muhammad) did not want to X the women because their husbands were still alive. Then Muhammad received revelation which allowed Muslims to X female captives of war, even if they were married and their husbands were alive. The hadith is Sahih Muslim 3432 and the Quran verse is surah Nisaa verse 24.
Muhammad did things that even his followers were at first reluctant to follow. We can find in the Hadith and Sira Literature many instances, where his followers didn’t want to follow through with something that they thought would be too immoral until Muhammad told them that it would be okay to do the deed. Here, at the least, we can see that Muhammad frequently transgressed even the ideals and moral standards of his time.

malaysian here, what's funny is that the muslims here are proud of this loyalty of following the sultan's of the time converting. there's this saying we learn during our history classes in highschool of how the sultan is as a tree, his subjects the roots. but supposedly, the islam we followed were nowhere near as strict as today's wahabbism until the iran revolution.
Yep since the Europeans left the Islamic countries alone, a lot of them were becoming Westernized, Islam wasn’t as strict compared to today where women are forced to wear Hijabs. I’ve saw dis interview w dis Somali lady n she was talking bout her childhood n how she grew up when the Europeans left, n Somalia was quite Westernized growing until the Iranian Islamic revolt happened that’s when other Islamic countries started to pursuit to put these Strict ass Islamic laws in place. It’s crazy cos when you see pictures of Iran back den ppl were much freer, women didn’t have to wear Hijabs, but now Islam is really dying out in Iran bc of the Islamic Regime, n Christianity is growing a lot in numbers, I believe like 60% of Mosques were shut down in Iran.

The other Islamic majority nations started to pursue it afterwards on which Denomination they follow. If the Islamic Iranian revolt didn’t happen, a lot of Muslim majority countries would be westernized today.
Sultan's who converted to Islam were originally following mix of Dharnas like Hindu/Buddhism and local pagan worship ways, so culturally South east Asians never had a concept or culture of hating or killing non-believers or converting others so even today south east Asians are not like Arabs or central Asians but slowly radical Islam is spreading here too. But as Islam spread on all islands practicing Hindus were forced to migrate towards Bali or Jawa etc to save their ancestoral culture
So this is why they're so focused on people like andrew tate. It doesnt matter what he does, he has influence. Theyre trying to replicate the old ways of converting influencial people so that others are "socially forced" into converting as well.

Also, it's important to understand that the reason islam is growing faster than other religions now is islam's dysfunction. Countries that urbanize, educate and provide opportunities for women undergo the "demographic transition" to lower birth rates. Islamic countries are later on that trajectory because of islamic governance holds people back. Thus higher birth rates.

11:45 I actually think I have more respect for Yasir Qadhi because of his honesty, more than any of the crop of militant dawah guys we see these days. He desperately wants to change the narrative to be more honest, because he knows people don't like being lied to and conned and that this will hurt Islam in the end.
However, his approach is going to backfire. He is going to find himself ostracised and ridiculed by mainstream Islam, maybe he himself will even leave the religion in later years.
It isn't just that people don't like being lied to about Islam, it's that they ALSO don't like the bloody truth of islamic history.
Time will tell how all this plays out though. There are ways to manage it, as the example of Christianity through history clearly shows. In Christianity, mass self delusion is the only answer, so I don't really think that Yasir Qadhi's quest for truth is going to end well.

If you study the early centuries of Islam (a great book is "Seeing Islam As Others Saw It" by Hoyland, which contains contemporary writings by Islamic and non-Islamic authors, you'll never find any mention of theological debate involving the Quran and Bible. It's all about conquest. Another excellent book is "The Conquest of Jihad" by Bostom. Muslims simply do not know their own history and want us to believe their rosy picture of how Islam expanded.
Yes, a lot of what you say is very true. However, I would not say that "soon there were no pagans". There is an interesting book entitled "Religion and the Decline of Magic" by Thomas, which shows the still-strong paganism and little knowledge of Christianity among people in England well into the Middle Ages. Most were uneducated, all the masses were in Latin and they didn't get any "proper" understanding of the theology, so they mostly continued in their ancient beliefs. @CanYouReadMyReply
