I agree. I am embarrassed just watching this. I realize I have not asked God very many questions. He spoke fifty sentences to me from above to my ear. He didn't say anything weird. His voice was kind and clear as a bell. Not a weird whisper in my head or roaring voice. His first nine sentences to me were 8.4.2015 in the morning.

By the way, the dirtiest river (Citarum river) in the world is in Jakarta, Indonesia. A Muslim majority country where I live. Other than from factory pollution, local residents also treat the river as a dumping ground.
Rather like the " holy river" of Hinduism, the Ganges that people bath in & dump sewage/ trash!

I told her that would pollute the river. She said would make the river clean. I argued back, my ex-husband took me aside and told me not to argue with ignorant people. I shuddered at thought of thousands of people throwing pieces of plastic in the river.
I never met a clean muslim, ever in my life.

Now there are apologetics for the well at Buda'ah, where Muslims will point out that the well at Buda'ah is supposed to be large.
We can find evidence of its size in Hadith 67 of Sunan Abu Dawud, where Abu Dawud went to the well itself to measure it, as it turns out, it is maximum a bit over 3m, safe estimate is a quite a bit less than 3m, the water level usually stays at around crotch height so about 0.6-1.2m, so it is not large, the size of a small pool.
Dead dogs and faeces are most definitely going make that water unsafe.
Another thing, Muslims typically say that in Islamic law, if the water has had a change in colour, odour or taste, then it is pure.
This isn't exactly very good of a gauge, many things can pollute water and make it unsafe without it experiencing a change in smell, odour or taste, a good example will the pathogens found in corpses of animals, big or small.
The biggest thing IMO, will be that Muhammad himself prayed in sheep pens, which typically contain sheep urine and excrement, along with himself saying that sea water is clean and whatever that dies in it is lawful for consumption(Abu Dawud 83),
I thought sex life was private, why, the graphic details? I was married to a Muslim and he told me that in Islam sex life is private, he never told me that the private sex of Mohammed was written in graphic detail in the books. I'm glad I never converted.

My journey started with one such hadith where Ayesha says she used to spit on her menstrual blood stains on her clothes and scratch it with her nails
it made me question the 5 times wudhu then salah and the rest followed 😁
Interesting because enzymes in spit actually breaking proteins in blood, so back in then when bleach's or other chemicals weren't around I guess spit was a great cleaning aid for menstural cloths. To remove the stains I guess you would need to rub them, again in the times rubber gloves weren't a thing, so you would use your hands. Maybe spit was used to breakdown the blood and then it was rinsed with water?? Kinda clever.

In Judaism you wash your hands before meals
This is one of the problems with Islam. Mohammed was an actual human with all the issues of marriage and so on. Jesus was uncontaminated with all these things.
We cannot be certain that Jesus was not married. He was called a rabbi and rabbis are usually expected to be married from what I understand. Historically, many communities traditionally included in their bylaws that they would only accept married candidates as their rabbis (Chikrei Minhagim, vol. 2, p. 182). Just because the sources don't say so, it may not have been an important point (and a common Jewish woman was unlikely to be mentioned in theological texts). Even if he was not, he was still a Jew and a human.

The elimination of a wife may be to maintain purity, like virgin births. Certainly Mohammed's relationships with women leave him open to a lot of criticism, so one can see the logic.

Something you forgot to mention, this isn't just the advice of the "prophet". This is the advice from an all knowing allah. I would expect a lot more from an all knowing God than these nasty things. Funny how the omnipotent, all knowing god is always trapped at the level of knowledge of the time his "prophets" live and never ahead of his time. Like Jesus telling people not to wash their hands because those are laws men made up.

The early muslims used to clean their ass with stones due to lack of water in Saudi Arabia. The zamzam water was difficult to access from far places back then.

Ritual washings.... Probably the one way how to make people wash at all back then. Religion told people how to live and if not washing angers a god then people will wash. Judaism and Christianity also have hygiene rules embedded.
I think the problem with religion is not the part where people believe in a god, I can see how it could offer comfort and guidance.
I think the problem is that they take their respective holy books so literal.
Maybe the revolutionary part was to wash at all. One bath is better than no bath. And bathing is a luxury in areas with little water. If water is scarce and I have the choice between bathing and to die if thirst I would rather drink the water than contaminating it with my dirt.
Just saying.
Like, if you look at it in context maybe it makes sense. And if you look at it with today's perspective it doesn't make sense. So "scholars" try to interpret the ancient holy books in a way that it does make sense even from modern perspective - or they simply don't want to talk about it.
But like, don't take it so literal. The take away is to bath and if you have loads of water available then maybe you should bath more often than Mohammed.
The problem is that in order to not take the holy book so literally you have to start the discourse how the all knowing all mighty god could tell Mohammed stuff that wouldn't be valid under all circumstances and in all times and all geographical places.
And that train of thought isn't allowed to follow because then you either find flaw in God (impossible) or there might just be no god (equally impossible).
But there is a third way which I think would make religion a lot more compatible with modern life and modern knowledge:
What if God told Mohammed everything about personal hygiene, microbes, contamination, DNA, cells ....but it was far beyond the poor mere mortals head and Mohammed didn't understand what the heck bacteria are. For Mohammed it was like drinking from a fire hose, too much information that he couldn't fully grasp. So all he remembered was "take a bath, don't drink dog saliva and a dead mouse in food is not a good idea. But even worse than a dead mouse in food is no food.
And then he went on to preach what little Mohammed understood of God's teachings, and it improved the health of the community because 1 bath was better than no bath. And what Mohammed preached got written down by mere mortal people, translated a gazillion times, copied a gazillion times and what is the Quran today got partially lost in translation. And so it should be read with a grain of salt.
I mean, that narrative would work, no? Not questioning the existence of God, not questioning how God didn't know about bacteria - but instead blaming the mortal who couldn't follow God's lecture.
You can still faithfully believe in an all knowing God AND you get encouraged to use your own common sense to interpret your Holy book.
The world would be a better place if religions didn't take their holy book so literal.

As a general rule about water, as explained in other answers on this site, it is well known that water is considered pure until or unless some impurity alters its color/taste or smell.
And about this well, scholars have explained that this well was not actually USED for such things, but the rain water or accidently these things usually used to fell into it, and this well was large enough that its water didn't changed its smell taste or color with those things. So, it remained useful for ablution.
We cannot imagine an unbeliever, even a pagan, doing such a thing, never mind a Muslim. It has been the custom of people throughout time, regardless of their religion, to respect water and protect it from filth. How could we think otherwise of the people of that generation, who were the best of Muslims to ever live? This is not in conforming to what we know of their character. The truth is that the well was situated in sloping ground. When the rains came, these impure substances would be carried from the roadways and the yards of people's houses and dropped into the well. However, due to the considerable amount of the water in the well, the quality of the water was never affected or altered. [Ma`âlim al-Sunan (1/37)]

Yes the correct term is ghusl, and I doubt you even know how ghusl is performed. It's to get rid of any major impurities, and for us Muslims it's an act of cleanliness. It's an act that purifies us from any major impurity, for you obviously no, since you don't believe in God, and that is why belief in God is the foundation of Islam. Even if you put Islam aside, how is performing ghusl not considered ‘cleanliness’?
Also by your logic, I should be performing ghusl every second during my menstrual cycle because I'm ‘dirty’ and ‘impure’ and I'm not clean so of course I should be taking a bath after every few hours during my cycle. How is that even convenient? If anything, this is what actually sounds like OCD. Islam is supposed to be easy to follow and it doesn't create hardships for Muslims, while still providing us with the most convenient methods to stay pure and clean.
Why do men who criticise the Prophet ﷺ act like the purest, most innocent beings existing on earth, who wouldn't have sex with their wives like 10 times in one night. Also the Holy Prophet ﷺ had more than one wife, and women have sexual needs too. Exactly this is why Islam doesn't even encourage polygamy in the first place, because one man can't be taking care of all the needs of his wives. The Prophet ﷺ on the other hand could fulfill all their needs by the grace of Allāh عَزَّ وَجَلَّ, also because He married several women from different backgrounds to set an example for Muslims to follow (ultimately by the command of Allāh سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

If a fly lands in your water, and flies away, but you didn't see it, you drink the water, there is no guarantee you'll get sick, you might, but then again you might not. Apparently we eat flies in our sleep, we eat spiders, it happens yet we don't get seriously ill from it.
The fly wings comment about, the fly carrying disease on one wing, but the cure in another. It's very simply put and it's ashame that it's just read out by this RUclipsr and again not really looked into or discussed. Why are we told to expose our immune systems to dirt? In the UK midwives will guide women to allow their young children to eat food that has fallen on the floor? Why?? Because it exposure your body to germs and your body then builds up immunity to the germs.
The wings of the fly, one wing is the germ, being exposed to it, the other wing in the cure, the exposure helps us build immunity.
