The Quran, at least in its early part is quoting much of the bible and especially Musa about 73 or maybe 74 times. It suggests to the Bani Israel to go back into their land in the name of Alla, and not leave. The Children of Israel are sometimes referred to as Ummat Al Kittab and there is nothing wrong with that. I wonder if in the name of peace we could stick to the good parts and put aside the less peaceful parts. Those who believe in the Hebrew Bible did it and nobody is claiming that an eye for and eye is justice. I think that some of the less peaceful parts in the Quran may have come from traditional and tribal times preceding or after the life if the Nebi.

The Aramaic word for God is Alaha. It's the word Isa PBUH (Jesus as his name is often misspelled due to the lack of the ayin sound in Greek, which was rendered to Iesous, coupling the nearest sound to ayin, same letter found in 'Iraq', which sounds entirely different in Arabic form 'Iran' in Arabic, with the -ous Greek suffix that Greeks typically add to their names 'HerodotOS', 'PlotinUS', 'AchelOUS' and later mumbled into a J). Sounds familiar? Written without the confusing vowels, it is A-L-H ܐ ܠܗܐ (alap-lamed-he) as found in Targum or in Tanakh (Daniel, Ezra), Syriac Aramaic (Peshitta), adducted from the Arabic original (of which Aramaic is a dialect continuum) 'A-L-L-H' (Aleph-Lam-Lam-Ha).
The yeshua rendition of Isa (his name in the Qur'an) PBUH which is purported to be the name of Jesus is KNOWN to had been taken from greek. Western Syriac also use "Isho". Western Aramaic (separate from Syriac which is a dialect of Eastern Aramaic) use "Yeshu". Western Syriac has been separate from Western Aramaic for about 1000 years. And sounds don't even match up. Syriac is a Christian liturgical language yet the four letters of the name of Jesus «ܝܫܘܥ» [ = Judeo-Babylonian Aramaic: «ישוע» ] sounds totally different in West vs East Syriac, viz. vocalized akin to Christian Arabic, Hebrew, Aramaic «ܝܶܫܽܘܥ» (Yēšūʿ) in West Syriac, but pronounced more akin to Muslim Arabic Quran character name Isa in East Syriac «ܝܑܼܫܘܿܥ» (ʾĪšōʿ). The reason for this confusion is their dropping of phonemes as aforementioned. Only someone that has no idea what the letters are or how they sound would have a name ending in a pharyngeal fricative like the ayin, if it were to be used in a name it would have had to be in the beginning, thus the Arabic rendition is the correct one. In addition, The word God in hebrew is eloah, is a cognate of the Arabic I-L-H, pronounced ilah not eloah. Hebrew dropped the glottal stop and mumbled it into eloh, aramic mumbled a little less and it became elah. Infact it is written A-L-H in Arabic, it is pronounced i in Arabic cause it is an Alef with hamza below (إ أ ) They are two different forms of Alef. And it mean "a god", it is the non definitive form of A-L-L-H, in which the Alef is without a glottal stop/hamza,(ا)

      ط, ظ (ṭ/teth, ẓ) merged into only ṭ/teth consonant remaining
      ص, ض (ṣ, ḍ/Tsad ) merged into only ḍ/Tsad consonant remaining
ع, غ (3'ayn, Ghayn) merged into a reducted ayin consonant remaining
ت, ث (t/taw, th) merged into only t/taw consonant remaining
The reason why the protoS alphabet here is 28 and not 29, is because the supposed extra letter is simply a س written in a different position, but it was shoehorned to obfuscated. In Arabic letter shapes are different depending on whether they are in the beginning , middle or end of a word.
This kind of nuance is lost in the dialect continua. As a matter of fact, all of the knowledge needed for deciphering ancient texts and their complexity was derived from the Qur'an. It was by analyzing the syntactic structure of the Qur'an that the Arabic root system was developed. This system was first attested to in Kitab Al-Ayin, the first intralanguage dictionary of its kind, which preceded the Oxford English dictionary by 800 years. It was through this development that the concept of Arabic roots was established and later co-opted into the term 'semitic root,' allowing the decipherment of ancient scripts. In essence, they quite literally copied and pasted the entirety of the Arabic root. Hebrew had been dead, as well as all the other dialects of Arabic, until being 'revived' in a Frankensteinian fashion in the 18th and 19th centuries. The entire region spoke basically the same language, with mumbled dialect continuums spread about, and Arabic is the oldest form from which all these dialects branched off. As time passed, the language gradually became more degenerate, and then the Qur'an appeared with the oldest possible form of the language thousands of years later. This is why the Arabs of that time were challenged to produce 10 similar verses, and they couldn't. People think it's a miracle because they couldn't do it, but I think the miracle is the language itself. They had never spoken Arabic, nor has any other language before or since had this mathematical precision. And when I say mathematical, I quite literally mean mathematical. Now how is it that the Qur'an came thousands of years later in an alphabet that had never been recorded before, and in the highest form the language had ever taken? The creator is neither bound by time nor space, therefore the names are uttered as they truly were, in a language that is lexically, syntactically, phonemically, and semantically older than the oldest recorded writing. In fact, that writing appears to have been a simplified version of it. Not only that, but it would be the equivalent of the greatest works of any particular language all appearing in one book, in a perfect script and in the highest form the language could ever take. It is so high in fact, that it had yet to be surpassed despite the fact that over the last millennium the collection of Arabic manuscripts when compared on word-per-word basis in Western Museums alone, when they are compared with the collected Greek and Latin manuscripts combined, the latter does not constitute 1 percent of the former as per German professor Frank Griffel, in addition all in a script that had never been recorded before. Thus, the enlightenment of mankind from barbarism and savagery began, and the age of reason and rationality was born from its study.real

HEAR O ISRAEL, JESUS IS THE MESSIAH !
Nowhere the Qur'an claims to be about religion except when arguing with the pagans, polytheists and Idol worshippers from the First of the Ten Commandments perspective.
Other than that, Islam has always claimed to be a Christian Apostolic Tradition in line with the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15:1-32...in rejection of the Council of Nicaea and Constantinople with their Trinitarian tone.
It was not until the 9th century that some hadith collectors such as Al-Bukhari, Al Muslim, etc turned it into a separate and full blown religion by severing it from Christianity.
By the way Christianity is the belief that Jesus is the Christ which is Greek for HaMashiak(Messiah) its Hebraic counterpart. The Messiah(Christ) foretold by Moses as it is written:
"I will send them the Messiah, the Prophet like you Moses, Him they must listen..." Deut. 18:15-19; John 4:25-26; Acts 3:17-24; Acts 17:1-3; Acts 7:1-30, etc...
Islam therefore is more like a political philosophy than a religion making the Sovereign-Prince on earth into the shadow of the Messiah sitting in Heaven.
True, Man doesn't live on bread alone but nowhere it is said that man lives on daily prayers only... JESUS IS MUHAMMAD, THE PRAISES MESSIAH, AND MUHAMMAD IS ABU AL-QUASIM !
      DOES RELIGION MAKE PEOPLE STUPID?

Slight Correction, Sunni Tradition holds that even before Uthman, the Quran was compiled into a single copy under Abu Bakr RA, 6 months after the Prophet SAW died, due to a bunch of reciters getting killed during the Battle of Yamama. What Uthman RA did was was standardized it and make many copies of it and respectfully retire the minor variations (called Ahruf) (the Quran is retired like a Flag in America, throwing it away is considered as disrespectful so we burn out of respect)

A minor correction at 20:25 : The Arabic language does indeed have vowels (all human languages have vowels), but rather it is the traditional Arabic script that typically or mostly does not express them in written form. Come on! Arabic vowels are central to the language and writing. The first letter of the Arabic Alphabet is Alef, which is a vowel! The letter Wao is our O, and it looks like the English comma, also means AND. It is part of the decimal system and punctuation of European languages - an Arabic vowel!!! A third vowel is Yaa, which sounds like i and e and y depending on the word. The Arabic language is based on 3 or 4 letter root verbs, and these roots often contain one or two vowels. If you trace the origin of the vowel-less legend about Arabic you will find an idiot or an orientalist, which is the same thing often. 😢

It seems the compilers of the Quran didn't know the difference.
You also have to consider whether the Qurans "correction" claim makes sense in light of the actual texts. What we actually find in many cases is the Quran copies random details that don't make a lot of sense by themselves, but make perfect sense in the original story.

Perhaps this misunderstanding is caused by the people who had come up with the idea that the person mentioned in the holy Quran is to be taken as the one who lived for 200 years or 2 centuries. this idea does not make any sense, because it would employ that the person was of 200 years of age and he had already lived for 2 centuries at the time period during that story. again because you do not give a 30 years old person a name like ["thou al qarnayn" means "the one who lived for two centuries" ]

⚠️⚠️🚨🚨🚨This is my response to you:
14:10 *(The story of Abraham breaking idols)*
You said, *"It comes from a commentary on the Book of Genesis, written by a rabbi, sometime between 300 and 500 CE So, it's certainly possible that Muhammad was familiar with the story"*
But you only mentioned half the truth. The scholars indicated that this text had been subjected to *distortion, and that it was subject to always for long and short additions* (1)
Even the scholar *Becker* described it as an *“open text”* because it is an expandable commentary (2) , and that it *"appears to have been revised in a belated way in the Middle Ages."* (3)
And it was stated in the *"Encyclopaedia Judaica 7/449”*: *"There are several parts in Genesis Rabbah whose style, language and exegetical character do not represent an integral part of the original midrash, but rather they are late additions"*
The story of “Ibrahim” with idols and fire appears in chapter 38 of the Midrash, *it is among the chapters that scholars have said that it has been subject to distortion and belated revision.* And although it resembles the Qur’anic story, it is noted here:
*The Midrash story contrasts with the Qur’anic story in detail in many ways.*
      * This midrash has been subjected to *severe change*, and Orientalists and evangelists do not have an argument for the *authenticity* of this story in this midrash or for the proof that it existed in it before *the time of the Prophet Muhammad,* noting that the oldest manuscript of this midrash in our hands today: (Vat. 30) dates back to 400-500 years after the appearance of Islam!!(4) Also, the text published today in the original language, which was prepared by Theodor and Albeck (1929 AD), does not match any ancient manuscript due to the many
      differences between them!
      *#################################################*
15:29 *(Mary And the Palm Tree)*
You said, *"a very similar story is told about Mary and the palm tree"* and claimed that there is only *one difference* between the two stories.
But the truth is that there are at least 6 differences between the two stories *(in the place, time, characters of the story, what miracle happened, what caused it and who did it)*
15:40 You said, *"Pseudo-Matthew was written around the same time as Muhammad lived"* But many scholars such as *(Robert Miller, Lynette R. Muir, J.K. Elliott, and J. A Tasioulas)* say that it was written in the eighth or ninth century, i.e. *after the advent of Islam.*
      (5)
15:58 You said, *"its more likely is that this was simply a well known story that was floating around at the time and that both authors were familiar with it"* But the scholar *(G. K. Eliot)* explicitly stated that the *Pseudo-Matthew was not known in the East*
Stephen J. Shoemaker said, *"It appears that the apocryphal gospel of Matthew was written somewhat late, which prevents it from having an impact on the Qur'anic text, and most importantly, this apocryphal gospel was composed in the beginning in Latin somewhere in the Christian West and was completely unknown in the Christian East"* (6)
      *#################################################*
      16:12 *(SLEEPERS IN THE CAVE)*
As for the story of (The Seven Sleepers), it is a historical event mentioned by the Qur’an in order to take a lesson from it, and the Qur’an never claimed that there is no other book that preceded this story!! . And your saying that it is a well-known story to other nations, this supports the fact that this story occurred because it has historical testimonies!
      *#################################################*
      16:12 *(DUHL-QARNAYN)*

You did not mention any book before the Qur’an that narrates the story of Dhul-Qarnayn, but you most likely mean the book of Alexander Romance, especially the Syriac version of it, which some orientalists claim to be a source of the Qur’an, but the truth is those Syriac versions of Alexander the Great were written after the advent of Islam under the Islamic rule.
Ernest Wallis Budge says in his book (The life and exploits of Alexander the Great: being a series of translations of the Ethiopic histories of Alexander by the Pseudo-Callisthenes and other writers, with introduction, etc) about the *Syrianc versions of Alexander Romance were inspired by the Arabic culture and were written under the rule of Islam* This means those Syrianc versions were written and inspired by the Arabic culture, *not quoting from the Greek ones*
He also said it was written by a *Syrianc Christian person who lived in the Islamic countries under the rule of the Abbasid Caliphate during the 10th century AD*
      B. M. Wheeler says, *"A more discerning examination of the different texts show that the later recensions of the Alexander stories are dependent upon the Qur'an as understood through the medium of early Muslim commentators. Key elements of the later stories, such as the appellation of "Dhu al-Qarnayn" attributed to Alexander owe their origins to the commentaries"* (7)

O Jesus, I will take you and raise you up to me, and had purified you from those who disbelieve, and He will place those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection, then to Me is your return, so I will judge between you regarding that in which you differed, the authentic god rose jesus to the sky before they kill him in addition he had purified him from a false accusation that he is impure the quran verse is comply with the bible itself :So they lifted up stones to stone him. But Jesus did and went out of the temple, passing through them." It is a collection of Quranic text fragments on parchment that were discovered in 2015 at the University of Birmingham in England. The manuscript has been carbon-dated to between AD 568 and 645, which is within the time period of the Prophet Muhammad and the early Islamic community. Muhammad was a Quraish Meccan caravan trader in his younger adult years before he married his older first wife Khadijah. As an itinerant merchant, he got to travel, did business and interacted with people of multiple nations and faiths. When he settled down to married life, he got lots of time to ruminate and slow burn thinking about the state of his people and the world. Then at 40 years old…..VOILA! He knew what to do and self proclaimed himself a prophet and enlightened. There is nothing phenomenal about the Koran to even suggest all its aspects are divine

    • @purpleplatypus97
      @purpleplatypus97 2 месяца назад +2

Can't forget that he submitted himself to sensory deprivation following the loss of his wife; commonly known to cause hallucinations! Once he left the cave is when the writings 'happened' (Couldn't read or write is a ridiculous lie; he was a merchant, that was needed in his career). He also didn't allow Pagans into the faith until after Christians and Jewish leaders claimed him as a false prophet and said that they wouldn't back him. So he had to pivot, and the moment the Pagans trusted him, he destroyed their temple idols and banned them from Mecca. Speaking of Mecca, there were other identicle cube structures located in other places. He oddly felt the need to destroy them before taking over Mecca, one can only imagine why...
The ritual at Mecca with the 7 laps at varying speeds, was a stolen Pagan ritual, worshipping Astrology and the 7 planets/dieties. Every person in that faith is unknowingly worshipping Astrology/ other gods.
People can be incredibly gullible and choose to see what they want to see, regardless of facts. The is-amic faith has every sign of cult programming, which is not surprising that those born into it believe it blindy, they simply do not know any better. I hope deeply that one day the followers can see that Mo-ammad used Religion as a political power chip and bargaining tool to gain what he wanted in life. They deserve to live free and happy lives, not spending them idolizing a dead warlord.

According to Islam the son takes the lineage from the Father so Ismael has to be Aramaic not an Arab. So Muhammad cannot come from Ismael
example if my mother is Chinese and my father is Korean how can I be an Indian. this is the case with Ismael being an Arab.
      POINT TWO
In the Bible it says Ismael and his mother Hagar met the TRIBE OF JURHUM this tribe are Arabs from YEMEN
and Ismael learnt ARABIC from them. And thee JURHUM Tribe of YEMEN are staunch ENEMIES of the QURAISH TRIBE of Muhammad. Since Ismael learnt Arabic from the JURHUM TRIBE, Ismael cannot be the father of ARABS since The ARABS were before Ismael and they taught him Arabic language
      CONCLUSION
if I were to marry a Chinese woman and learn Chinese I cant be the Father of Chinese since the Chinese were before me and I learnt the language from them. So ISMAEL CANNOT BE THE FATHER OF ARABS AND MUHAMMAD IS NOT FROM ISMAEL AND ISLAM IS NOT AN ABRAHAMIC RELIGION

7:22, note: chapter 110, i.e. Surat Al Nasr, is considered to be the last whole surah to be revealed. It is unanimous , however, that it is not the altogether final revelation. Some scholars say that the last revelation is Chapter 5 (Surat al-Maidah) verse 3, the verse of the Perfection of Religion. This is a weak view, but it is more popular among the masses. A larger number of scholars view al-Baqarah verse 281 to be the last.

It's similar in Hebrew. Also, both have vowel pointing systems- haraqat for Arabic and niqqud for Hebrew- but they're entirely optional.

I just want to point out several errors in the channel's content. It was pointed out that this interpretation as a whole and in general is scientifically and academically wrong.
First, the entire Qur’an was not compiled during the reign of Uthman bin Affan.
Rather, the entire Qur’an was compiled immediately after the death of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, that is, several months later at the hands of the first caliph Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, who was the first companion of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his first caliph after his death.
But the entire Qur’an was collected in several volumes written separately, and they were not arranged and preserved in one book
The texts of the Qur’an were preserved in the house of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq or the house of his daughter Aisha, the wife of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Peace be upon him.
Then came the second period during the reign of the third Caliph Uthman Ibn Affan, the third greatest companion of the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Where Othman bin Affan collected the entire Qur’an for the first time in history in one Qur’an and arranged it as it is at the present time, and that is why it was called the Ottoman Qur’an. There is a copy of it in the Birmingham Museum or the so-called Birmingham manuscript, which is the oldest copy of the Qur'an in history.
Then came the third period, which is the period of the fourth Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib, who is the fourth Caliph. And the fourth greatest companion of the Messenger of God, and he was the first to put the rules in the Qur’an to distinguish letters and read the Qur’an in the correct form.
Therefore, the entire Qur’an was collected during the era of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, who lived with him and saw it with their own eyes.
To be clear, the Qur'an is not the same as the Bible in Christianity. The Qur'an has been transmitted literally in two ways, the written method and the oral method. As a sacred text, it was memorized from the first word to the last word by thousands of companions of the Messenger of God, all the way to hundreds of thousands and several millions through successive generations. Hence, the sacred text reached what it is now.
It is considered the first holy book to adopt the transmission method, by rote memorization letter by letter in addition to word for word. Orally and in writing
Compared to the texts of the Torah and the Bible that were transmitted only through translations and writing
      third point
It is that you tried to include your Christian beliefs in the explanation of the Qur'an, and this is wrong
Muslims consider the Torah and the Bible to be distorted, unreliable, and inaccurately transmitted texts.
The Qur'an is not a copy of the Bible and the Torah. Rather, Muslims believe that the Qur’an is the direct divine revelation of the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to correct the errors and falsifications contained in the Torah and the Gospel.
It is natural that we find some of the events mentioned in the Qur’an mentioned in previous texts with a Jewish or Christian source.
Muslims do not realize that the texts of Matthew, Luke, John and Mark are the Bible. Rather, the Gospels are the words that God sent down to Jesus directly, but were not properly recorded.
The fourth point, therefore, all Muslims throughout history believe that the Bible and the Torah are distorted and falsified. Therefore, the Qur'an is not copied from it, but is a separate revelation.
No text from the Torah and the Bible was written in Arabic at that time
The Bible was not circulating in the Arabic language at that time, and the public was not familiar with the texts of the Bible
The first attempt to translate the texts of the Bible into Arabic took place a century after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace

@@mouazalgeria9137 So which quran do you use today? We can buy more than 30 different Arabic qurans. All the qurans are full of mistakes and contradictions. But lets look at the early qurans. We do not have any complete quran from the time of Mohammed. We do not even have a complete quran from the time of Uthman. We know that more than 100 verses of Surah 33 are missing. So we know there is no complete quran today. None of the early quranic manuscripts are complete and many show signs of having been corrupted.
But back to Uthman, we know that he was required to put the quran in writing as different groups of Muslims recited the quran so differently that fights broke out as to who recited he quran correctly. That proves that the memorization of the quran had already failed completely within 20 years after Mohammed had died. The Uthman wrote the quran in the Quraishi dialect and burnt all the originals. So today we should only have one quran in one dialect, yet we have more than 30 different Arabic qurans.
So who wrote all these different qurans? Nobody knows, Not one quran that I have seen shows even one name of the person or persons who actually wrote the qurans. So all the qurans were actually written by anonymous people.
You say >> all Muslims throughout history believe that the Bible and the Torah are distorted and falsified

      Thanks for the nice reply
There is only one Quran in the world
All Islamic sects recognize only one Quran
The reason why the Qur’an is one book, unlike the Bible, which has several copies
It is because the Qur’an was transferred by memorizing word for word from the beginning of the line to the end of the line, so it was impossible to change the Qur’an
If one word is found different or wrong, all copies of the Qur’an will be withdrawn
As for the incomplete surahs of the Qur’an, no reliable historical source mentioned this rumor
It is impossible for there to be incomplete surahs because the Qur’an contains a complex code of mathematics.

I couldn't agree more with your conclusion that the nearest analogy in Christianity to the Qu'ran is Jesus Christ, not the Bible. As a Christian, I came to the same conclusion when I learned about Islam and its view of the Qu'ran. Frankly, I think such an analogy also is helpful for Christians, who tend to want to inflate the Bible's place in Christianity vis-a-vis the incarnate Son of God. In John 5:39, Jesus accuses the Pharisees: "You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life. It is they which testify of me, yet you don't want to come to me so that you can have life."

It's interesting because I heard some people say Jesus never claimed to be God, but that's a pretty clear claim of being God. It seems that in the book of John he is more likely to see/describe himself as a divinity than in the other synoptic Gospels, and I wonder why. In another verse, he says "I came here not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me."

it contains just perhapses that's not knowledge that's an opinion and to be frank he cited some incorrect things like the Quran was not written in life time of the Prophet Muhammed that's not right because the compagnions of the Prophet did write it in his time and one of the very famous historical figure that did it was the first ommeyad Calife muawiyah ibn abi soufyan and it was compiled in one book called al Musehaf and the Book used by Uthman to standardize the Musehafs across the state was that of the wife of the Prophet Muhammed called Hafsa bint Umar ibn al khattab so he does not know that and for the Book being based on Syriac and as an Arabic speaker that is mostly a Bull shit, Syriac and Arabic belong to the same family tree everybody who tried to do this manoeuvre indeed tried to distort the meanings of resembling words that have different meanings in the two language and that is a deliberate corruption based on fallacies, for the Sanaa manuscript I don't know his position exactely but it has a very known story for a later time to tell but he is assuming that inconsistencies existed in the text that 's also a declaration made to out-proportion the dialectal differences in Quraysh tribe's ( the Prophet's Tribe) language that used to exist in the way of recitation, these differences are very minor and don't distort anything neither in the text nor in the meaning and the most important of that they are very known and classified and very very few dialectal differences , this Book is very well preserved because everybody in that time learned it by heart directly from a chain of well known people traced to the prophet so for the language beeing without vowel that's a void and wrong argument because the Book at that time was taught verbaly and no one was allowed to teach it or to recitate it in prayer without learning it verbaly from someone who also learned it verbaly from another till the chain ends up to the prophet, the one who learn it just from the mushaf was called a musehafi and it was a kind of pejorative description.

@@muhamedbarakat7680 Honestly, I do not like David Wood at all. He is attacking Islam on points that can easily be flipped back on him - he is hypocritical. And I understand that many of the pseudo-scientific issues and legends of the Quran can be easily explained away as metaphorical, allegorical or simply crafted to be understandable to their audience. Neither apologists can effectively use such verses to infer scientific miracles, nor critics can use them effectively to attack the Quran. Some statements might seem to contain errors pertaining to the understanding of cosmology that people in the Middle Ages had, but that is not the problem of the Quran as much as the historicity of its statements about Jesus. I think that Jesus was neither God, nor a prophet of God, nor the Jewish Messiah. I think that he was an ordinary man - a Jewish apocalyptic preacher who said the wrong things to the wrong people at the wrong time and place and got executed for it. The crucifixion is a historical fact, Jesus was absolutely crucified. What is not historical is his virgin birth, prophethood, miracle working, divinity and resurrection. It is clear tocme that the sources used for Jesus in the Quran are not divine but come from Jewish and Christian gnostic heresies as well as from Maniheism which was wide spread in Central Asia. Basically, Jesus made me an atheist because I think that both the Quran and the New Testament are wrong about him. And the Hebrew Bible (what Christians call the Old Testament) is wrong on other things. Looking for scientific errors in the Quran is a waste of time because the problematic verses can be vague and interpreted in many ways. Instead, I would recommend studying the historical Jesus and his context within Judaism. 'Debunking' scientific miracles in the Quran and spotting minor errors is just a child's play compared to the real problem - the historical person of Jesus.

why him and your father are wrong :
1)there was no single Arabic translation of the Bible till the tenth century CE, i.e., three centuries after the Prophet’s death. The available texts of the Bible were either in Syrian, Greek, or Hebrew. If the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) could have any direct access to the Jewish or Christian scriptures, he would have quoted them, being in dire need to challenge his opponents.
      2) The Prophet peace be upon him was illiterate, does not read or write, and it has not been proven that he saw the Torah and the Gospel, or read in them, or transmitted from them.
3)let us examine the two texts, the Qur’an and the Bible. The Qur’an was revealed over 23 years in installments to match multitudes of events, issues, and queries, which were finally compiled into surahs, each having a homogeneous flowing narration. On the other hand, the Bible is a collection of 58 (plus 16 disputed) books written by several human authors and groups. These books were originally not intended to be holy scriptures, but were selectively made so by the ecumenical councils of the Church, several centuries after Christ. An academic or even casual hand-on examination by an impartial sound intellect could never fail to witness the deep contrast between the superb text and context of the Qur’an, compared to the fallible human texts comprising the Bible books.
      4) If this were true, his enemies from the polytheists would have taken it as a pretext for them, with the aim of defaming it.
      5) Further, the Qur’an has vehemently unveiled the Christian and Jewish distortions of the original messages of Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them). The original Injeel and Torah are no longer available. Please read, for example, the Qur’anic correction and reply to the Biblical distortions:
      - Abraham was a Jew: 2:140; 3:65
      - Allah tired from act of creation? Allah forbid: 50:38
      - Jesus the son of God? Allah forbid: 9:30; 5:17
      - Trinity: 5:72-73
      - Sanctifying the Church: 3:64
      - Solomon blaspheming: 2:102
      - The first Qiblah: 3:96
Could a copy (i.e., the Qur’an, according to the allegation) correct the claimed original (i.e., Bible)?
5)What happened from the agreement in some of the rulings does not indicate that the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, was taken from them, and he learned from them, but because Judaism and Christianity have their correct origins that are consistent with the principles of Islam, had it not been for the distortion, change and alteration that they experienced.
7)The rulings of Islamic Sharia were descended gradually according to incidents and facts, and the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, depended in ruling on some matters until revelation came down to him, which indicates that he had no prior knowledge, and he did not ask the People of the Book.
8)The Noble Qur’an exposed the Jews and Christians, exposed their veils, and slandered them allah says in quran '' O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs." (4:171)
9)Again, could the Qur’an learn from the Bible?
There are, of course, points of agreement between the Qur’an and the Bible, e.g., the main aspects of the stories of prophets. That is natural as far as the original source of information being the same, divine revelation of Allah through His Messengers teaching essentially the same message. But here again, in the stories of the prophets we witness the profound differences between the Qur’anic narrations and those of the Bible. Compare for example: the story of prophet Joseph in the Qur’an (12:4-102) and the Bible (Genesis 37-45). Here, the brief to-the-point yet lively objective Qur’anic narration to emphasize advice and exhortations can be contrasted to the marginal details listed in the lengthy once-upon-a-time style of the Bible.
While the Qur’an gives due respect and reverence to the prophets as Allah’s chosen inviolable human beings, radiating His guidance to their contemporaries and future generations, the Bible frequently portrays them dishonorably. Consider for example:
Genesis 9:20-24: Noah being drunk and appearing naked in front of his sons
Exodus 32:3-4: Aaron shaping a golden calf for the Israelites to worship 1
Kings 11:9-10: Solomon worshiping false gods 2 Samuel
      11:4-5: David committing adultery
Genesis 19:31-36: Lot committing incest with his two daughters

I have always wanted to see history from a more scientific and systematic and rational point of view. I have many Muslim friends, which of course I am very close to, even though I am not a Muslim. Don't get me wrong, Muslims are not always scary or stereotypical in the minds of most westerners, but when discussing with them one cannot compromise, namely about divinity and the revelation of the Koran. This area is very sensitive, even when you are discussing with a master's degree in history or even with a doctorate in physics.

the TRUTH is both were Prophets of one TRUE GOD.
      Jesus brought the Moses Law.
      Moses never said about Trinity.
Moses knew that same one TRUE GOD of every Prophet.
For Moses God was "Elah, Elohim or Yaweh".
For Jesus God was "Alaha" in his Aramaic language.
The Trinity and Jesus devinity developed later by Church.

The earlier Ebionites were TRUE followers of Jesus(Pbuh).
they were true Christians. they knew that Jesus was only a messenger of God and The True Messiah.

"There's some misconceptions to clarify here, although I understand that, he as a non muslim he is only presenting the opinions of secular historians but for some it may take something from people who are not well grounded in this, but also he can't grasp all the information about the Qur'an because you don't have all the access to every sources or that might take a long time to do, because There's a 14 centuries of scholarly works and a lot of researches done but not most of it made it to translations, I just want to clarify for the viewers, as for the textual criticism we have it when it comes to the hadith to Authenticate, but the Qur'an we have the original sources directly from the prophet so there's no need of textual criticism but we still have it when it comes to the Qurʾān too, the Qur'an went through a lot of research and scrutiny, but as a born Arab muslim here I have done lots of studies and researches on the Qur'an, so I will correct some misinformations here below:
1• the Qur'an was completely written in the time of the prophet before the Uthmanic standardization and compilation, and he have answered that himself when he said Uthman ordered all other copies to be destroyed, those copies predate his standardization, in fact Uthman himself used the complete copie of the Qur'an that was with hafsa (Umar's daughter) to copie down the Qur'an, there was compilations of the parchments and manuscripts after the prophet's death.
2• there's no versions of the Qu'rân, the slight varients we find in the Sanaa manuscript we still have them nowadays those are called Qira'at I have it in front of me here, the Qira'at emerged from the Ahruf which traditionally are still the Qur'an and a Revelation from God to make it easy for the different tribes that existed in Arabia.
3• all the theories of Secular historians he mentioned, have already been disputed and refuted in details long ago, plus the Qur'an clarifies that it confirms the stories that have came before in previous Revelations, so when we find a story in documents that predates the Qur'an that does not mean the Qur'an copies it, it's just a confirmation of it as the Qur'an states. But I understand that he is just presenting the Secular historian hypothesis.
And as to the luxenberg's hypothesis That syro-Aramaic and so on,, is a joke, trust me I have checked some of luxenberg's examples and they're completely nonsense you have to throw all the Arabic Lexicons and change the whole language and meanings which makes zero sense, it's like trying to explain a french book based on latin and italian solely! it was just a waste of time. Im actually a teacher teaching Quran and its commentaries. I found your video to be very interesting and insightful and even though you disagree that it is indeed revelation, the information that you gave give me a lot of insights on the origins of some stories in the Quran (esp the ones that are not in the bible). Even your previous videos was helpful in studying/teaching Quran.
In my reading, the Quran is absolutely aware of these similarities between it and these other sources. Though from it's perspective, it is merely a confirmation of truth of what was revealed before and at the same time correcting the blunders or the corruption made to previous texts. Of course i understand that this is not a historical secular academic view. And im fine with that.

A little back story; I was raised Mormon, but wanted to learn about other religions when I was 18. I knew very little about Islam and Muhammad at that point, except what my father had told me...which was they believed in father Abraham because all Arabs were desendents of Ishmael. I was never told their faith had anything to do with Jesus. So when I started learning on my own, not only was I shocked about the belief of jesus as a great prophet, but also about the story of Muhammad and the Quran. It was a case of deja'vu lol... the story was eerily similar to the story I had heard all my life of Joseph Smith and the book of Mormon. I have my theories these days, but I'll keep them to myself (spoiler alert, I don't think Muhammad copied Joseph Smith)
I'll be fascinated at any other similarities you find, either to Islam or other texts/sources. If you would like any information about the book of Mormon or the church and what it teaches, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions.

Jesus said my people perish for the lack of Knowledge read below and know the Truth
I am an Arab not here to Criticize but to share knowledge to you. Please read my two points and conclusion
      POINT ONE
ISLAM IS NOT ABRAHAMIC RELIGION> These Muslims have lied to people especially to the White Preachers
Abraham is Aramaic from IRAQ and his servant Hagar is an EGYPTIAN so how can the son Ismael be an ARAB

What do you think about your illness, Messenger of Allah? I do not think about the illness of my son except the poisoned sheep of which he had eaten with you at Khaybar.
The Prophet said: And I do not think about my illness except that.
This is the time when it cut off my aorta.
Abu Dawud said: Sometime 'Abd al-Razzaq transmitted this tradition, omitting the link of the Companion,
from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from the Prophet ,
and sometimes he transmitted it from al-Zuhri from 'Abd al-Rahman b.Ka'b b. Malik,
'Abd al-Rahman mentioned that Ma'mar sometimes transmitted the tradition in a mursal form (omitting the link of the Companion), and they recorded it.
And all this is correct with us.
'Abd al-Razzaq said: When Ibn al-Mubarak came to Ma'mar, he transmitted the traditions in a musnad form (with a perfect chain) which he transmitted as mauquf traditions (statements of the Companions and not of the Prophet).

For example many atheist jews identify themselves with non orthodox jew donomonation. U could fond muslim or christian jews but that's mainly cuz of their intermarriage families. A version of the "Mary and the Palm Tree" story is found in an old British Christmas folk song, "The Cherry Tree Carol". Mary is with Joseph and asks him to pick her some cherries from a tree. Joseph, who thinks she got pregnant by some other man, says "let the father of the baby pick cherries for thee". Her unborn child then commands the tree to bow down so she can pick the fruit.

There were far more stories about Jesus than the ones that made it into the Bible, and they would certainly have been current in Mohammed's time. Those legends may well have made it to England. There's another song that tells about Mary telling Jesus to get out of the house and go play. He meets wealthy boys who won't play with Him because He's poor. So he
"built a bridge of the beams of the sun
And over the water went He
And the three jolly children they followed after Him
And drownded they were all three"
