Used this Ambulance in the Army , with x4 casualties they would easily role sideways on the tracks as very top heavy. We would have to get out and push it vertical again , luckily the steep sides of the tracks aided in lifting of the Ambulance,

I’ve got the Fiskars saw, not had a problem but I’ve only used it for small stuff. Got the same one for my sister and she broke it first time! I’ve got a Silky PocketBoy now and that’s much less brittle.

Good Vlog. Was around Shropshire and Wales the previous week on me own Touring hence kept it to the tarmac and wild campsites. Scenery was gorgeous and midges were ravenous especially Bontddu on the sunday evening 9.30 10.30. Should have retired to the tent earlier. might have to look into that earlier campsite though. Tan Aeldroch also good for a base Betws y Coed way but did start to fill up towards the weekend. not been over the wayfarer for a while, cant remember if I have done Strata florida in the past or not. you caught some gorgeous scenes though and it didnt seem to busy on the lanes. glad to see only superficial damage, well ,I still have the last couple of minutes to watch.

Did the Strata Florida a couple of three years back on my motorbike (Yam T7) after a good dump of rain. Was challenging to say the least. Wet feet does nor really describe it. Wet to my Waist the water was so deep. Bloody good fun, not east on a big trail bike.... Hard to choose a line when you can't see the bottom. Pleased not to be camping that night. Good to see the lane in this video. I competed all the legal trails in Wales now and a few that are not.
My tribe love Nash Oakland....it's only just up the road from Hereford and an awesome place to get back to nature and do some bushcrafting. I've had the same fiskars saw for years and even in the hands of my boys its still good and surprisingly sharp😂....Gutted about the smash, Edna will hopefully be back up and running soon🤞maybe fit a bullbar to the rear ......mates ay🙃
Rich, you might like to look out for a box from the ex-Australian Army LR Perenties, particularly a General Maintenance box. I realise that the shipping would.d be horrendous, but, in the end, it would make a sensational base to make a camper out of. I've looked at them myself as a base for something similar to your EDNA. They're also heavy, they come on the 6x6 110 variant.... Worth doing some homework on.
Yes, was thinking the same. They look like they are double wall fibreglas so would be easy to keep cool or warm. All selling for more than I'd like to pay though 😔

As terrible as it is shit happens. No one goes out with the intentions of having a knock. It’s just an accident. Probably don’t make you feel any better now, but months down the road you’ll both be sitting around the fire laughing about it. 👍 stay safe.
Basically stay ON the track or STICK to the route. Lanes get closed because of people not keeping on the track.. a few who don't close the track down for the ones that do keep on the route!
Lanes are also closed because ppl drive through already damaged sections contributing to the damage even more when there is a solid section to the side that would cause no damage. Like I say common sense isn’t for everyone.

When shit happens I always think it's happened for a reason....it's prevented something worse happening in the future. Like if you go to your truck in the morning and the tyre is flat, it might have prevented you being in an accident changing your driving time. It's my positive thought process to overcome being pissed off. 👍
You'll snap a pull-saw if you try and push it. You just need to learn how to use it. I prefer a Silky myself, but use cheaper ones until you can use a pull saw properly.

few weeks ago i broke down in my d2 at darlo on the a1, lost a pulley and belt and drove back with no breaks, my mate told me to follow him as i was better to crash into his land rover than some one else but we got back with no further problems. shame stu's d2 had break problems, but it could of been worse if he was up front and hit a small car with kids in it or an old person he could of done a lot more damage. im sure they are 2.2ton and i have no abs on mine, i will just lock up and slide straight into anything that pulls out in front of me, glad you are both safe but its horrid knowing both cars have damage :( looks like stu will be camp bitch for the next few years :D if you want a hand stripping his car for bits to sell on ebay or painting it pink let me know lol

I did Strata a couple of weeks ago during the hot weather, first time and i absolutely loved it.
Perfect camp spot. Booked in. Strata Florida is my favourite lane by far. That and Lower Claerwen nearby. Shame about the whack. Gutted for you

It’s hard to say. The camper is that long it’s over the obstacle before the second set of wheels even get to it. We watched a 110 scrape down.

It is what it is mate. Mechanical failure can’t be helped and it was me or head on into the truck.
