Oh good lord I laughed till the tears were flowing at the commentary with this one of the ambulance attempting the rock steps at 12:10 "could you Imagine being a patient in the back of that." I was laughing till the tears were flowing! Then the bit when the door popped open, and shut. I could just visualise the stretcher in the back coming flying out and then the door shuts and he drives off!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This was a brilliant episode, and a special appearance of powerfuluk too. Absolutely amazing episode! I loved every second of it.
Haha cheers buddy was a good day on the classic run!! We had fabulous day and to be joined my Land Rover magazine and powerful uk! We smashed it!! That ambulance was funny bouncing around with the doors flying everywhere haha glad you enjoyed the vid/commentary! 👌🏼👌🏼
Absolutely awesome, thank you, today in my third Series III Swb 1979 Santa Ana, 1957 SWB Series I, 1964 Series IIa SWB, 1977 Series III Swb, 1980 Series III SWB Santa Ana, 1977 Series III Swb Santa Ana, 1979 CKD Venezuela Range Rover Classic and far the best of all was my Series I, as today I saw in this video.
Wow you’ve had some great classic land rovers! Also glad you found my channel and enjoyed that video! There’s a new one dropping tonight uk time 8pm with classic land rovers in too!! 😎👍👍
That Series 1 made this look like a milk run! It is unreal how well these old wagons can handle these tracks. I have a 1966 S2A 88”. Everyone who has ridden in it has commented how smooth it is off road. I love these old Landys. They become like a family pet. ( they just leave bigger spots on the carpet)! Lol Great video! Cheers from California.
Hey buddy would love you to join us!! Get the S3 109 out!! I’ve got quite a few guys in our group that have classic landys so could do another classic run later this year???.. Where you based? Your more than welcome e to join us!
Hey bud yeah you’ve got to love the old classic’s and they go better than some of the modern stuff!! Enjoy the channel plenty mix of old and modern 4x4’s up against each other 😎👌👌
Hi yes it doesn’t take long for it to dry up with all this great weather we are having! No doubt once it rains heavy the water run off will be crazy and strata Florida will have deep levels of water again! It’s a stunning trail isn’t it??.👍👍
@@ALL_4_WHEELS we had a factory standard Daihatsu Terios in the group so in a way was a blessing it was dry. The general area is lovely, Bomber Lane to Strata Florida via lanes is a good route to go camping and laning for the weekend. The summer is dry enough to do it in standard 4x4s but want to go back in autumn or spring when my Series is back on the road for more challenging conditions
It did really well on the lanes we did when compared against the cost of a Land Rover (was its first time in Wales). I think it has a centre diff lock but no low range was it's biggest drawback as there are several sections where you want to crawl slowly and not beans it. Ground clearance is reasonable for what it is but being light it sat on top of any high spots whereas my P38 digs it's axles in and is a lump to move when stuck.
I just hope there are no hidden boulders in those streams. The Land Rovers have no underbelly protection such as skid-plates, so the knocks will be taken directly by the frame cross-members with unsightly and difficult to repair damage.
No hidden rocks that would cause any damage was a good trip few shunts here and there to get the vehicles moving but the classics did e wet thing perfectly!!
Marks 2a Marshall ambulance it’s a lovely machine that fair play to him drove all way up from Cornwall to be with us! He’s now got a proper Red Cross painted on the old girl now!! 😎👍
Yes no damage he had a plastic coating / cover over the steps they took a battering but protected them! Was a good trip and nice variety of vehicles which one was your favourite??
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Without any doubt it is always the Series One - half the weight of the 110 (1200:2348kg) 3/4 the width (60 : 79 inches) the list goes on! I have had mine for 55 years. Excellent video showing the capabilities and drawbacks of different Land Rover designs over the years.
55years wow that’s incredible!! Fair play to you! And thanks for watching! Was a really good day out! Looking to plan another one and with a Range Rover fire engine coming along!! 👌🏼👌🏼
Not a problem thanks for watching hope you enjoy the rest of the vids in here!! Are you in the uk? Or near wales? Could join us on a day out if you fancied it?..
@@ALL_4_WHEELS how I would love to but I'm in Ireland so it would be difficult enough but if by chance I'd bring my discovery 4 she what she's made of but it would be brilliant thank you for asking deffo keep u in mind
No problem I’m out last video the spicy lane one we had a chap and his wife drove all way from Germany to spend the day with us!! 👌🏼👌🏼 Is your D4 modified or standard??
This is Strata Florida wales most impressive and I’d say best lane! It’s stunning as I’m sure you’ll agree! It’s fairly easy to find! 😎👍 let me know if you need any more details or check the bucket list video! 😎👍

Great run. Love it!!
It’s a great to see all the classics out! Was a great day loved the V8 disco a V8 with auto box just works and sounds great!!
Great looking old Land Rovers, i have a 1977 SWB Series 3 petrol.

Great selection of old classic landys!!! Oh boy the V8 disco sounds so sweet!! Glad you’re enjoying our vids and welcome to the channel!!
When the rear door opened on the ambulance…that was a proper carry on doctor moment right there.
Haha that was so funny!! Wish there was a bed and a dummy on there flying out haha! 😀
I was on Strata last weekend, surprised how quickly it has dried out over a few weeks!

What are the terios like in standard form?? Have they got low box / difflocks??

🤣🤣 yeah the little series did really well!!!

Bit of a crunch on those "step" things on the Defender 110 at 13.05.

all you realy want to cellabrate is for an Austin champ or jypsy to come along
he needs a bit of elp from the russian diff lock
I think a 12 volt impact gun is called for thereb
Had 18v impact gun in the Ambulance along with a 18v chainsaw if was needed
sounds right for an ex redcap bus
lock it in low range stick it in 2ndand shell go straight through
If vehicles like the new discovery is damaged who pays for it 👍👍😀😀😀
The owner! All trips are done at owners risk.
Things do happen while out on the trails. But it’s all down the the vehicle owner.. 👌🏼👌🏼
