    Great stuff. Very holistic in perspective with safe and effective techniques. As a PTA, this definitely adds techniques to my arsenal when working with powerlifters. Thank you!

    thank you!! I'm a thai massage therapist with a client like yours. No one likes to post videos on Thai massage w 300 lb clients- only skinny flexible people! CLient has very tight hips. Thai has helped but really need some more techniques for addressing fascia. Thank you for the video

    How do I make sure my Physical Therapist does this kind of work for me? I am having the same issues as a powerlifter.

    • @themovementunderground2464
      @themovementunderground2464  2 года назад +1

      Best way may be to ask directly. if you are using insurance benefits to pay for PT, then they likely wont do much tissue work because it doesn't reimburse well. Maybe try seeing a good massage therapist or Athletic trainer for some additional help. You may have to pay out of pocket, but as always, you get what you pay for.

    this is great, so for a better healing experience or extending his new current state of mobility, do you recommend anything specific for him to do after this session? I ask this because I think you said you prefer to work on clients before their workouts. Thanks

    like your videos! Do u think releasing the psoas helps with lower back pain aswell?

    • @themovementunderground2464
      @themovementunderground2464  7 лет назад +5

      Hey Christoph! Short answer is yes! A tight and weak psoas can defnitely cause low back and SI joint pain! Releasing it can certainly go a long way in improving symptoms as well as movement quality through the hips! It is important to pair the release work with some corrective exercise to restore normal function to the psoas, and keep the symptoms from recurring! Thanks for the comment! Please subscribe and stay tuned, more videos coming out soon!

    • @daytonasayswhat9333
      @daytonasayswhat9333 3 года назад

      Lol, for sure. None of this “mobility” work is going to do anything to help low back symptoms if you’re pulling super heavy deadlifts all the time.
