7:00 Not in a hurry at all until someone might get in front of you.
he went from 55 to 85 when someone tried to pass
7:00 Everyone moaning about the cammer supposedly "camping in the left lane", don't youse see the diamond markings in that lane? That's the HOV lane, *NOT* the passing lane, and he was *NOT* left-lane camping. He had every right to be there and stay there.
He could have stayed there, but he didn't. Suddenly, He remembered the gas pedal when someone was trying to get in front of him. He knew what he was doing.
He wasn't camping, he was driving slow enough to hold up faster traffic though, and then sped up just to be a dick. Watch his speed go from 55 to over 80.
That lane is HOV only during specific hours twice a day, it's not a 24-hour HOV lane. If he's outside those hours, then he needs to move over for faster traffic. Nevertheless, speeding up to deliberately block an otherwise safe lane change is what caused the entire issue. He could have just maintained the speed he was happy with and the other guy would have passed without issue.
4:45, good place for a cop to give some fast and easy tickets!! Make a lot of money for the city!! LOL!
3:45 'bad brakes?'
Nope. Just a bad driver.
3:00 Is an example of why in motorcycling, even if you are not at fault, you are at fault because a motorcycle always loses. It is a prime example as to why NEVER want to be beside a car. The bike did nothing wrong technically. But there is always that one in a million chance.
A bike always loses. Dont end up Dead Right. That was a brutal crash, and all it took was being beside another vehicle.
Mike Waters, you sped up to block that car from entering the HOV lane! We can see you closing the gap!!
And this is why we call them Bro-Dozers. @2:09
Not left lane camping but possibly defeating the purpose.
Definitely has the me first entitled attitude.
The amount of folk who don't know what an HOV lane is and its intended purpose, is scary.
Definition by DOT: High-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes are one or more lanes of a roadway that have restrictions on use to encourage ridesharing and can reduce vehicle miles traveled (VMT). Rules for HOV lanes vary and are usually posted. Typically, HOV lanes are open to motor vehicles carrying two or more people, and sometimes access is open to motorcycles or vehicles that use alternative fuels (hybrid or electric vehicles). Access restrictions on HOV lanes can apply 24-hours a day or only during peak congestion periods. The goal of HOV lanes is to provide an incentive to use ridesharing and public transportation, remove congestion from normal lanes of travel, and improve overall traffic operations.
4:30 He was nowhere near you
@RevIt Up Thanks for posting my video, greatly appreciated
Are people even looking while driving?
Lots of Bad crammers here, THINKING they are in the right!!
In California, the HOV or carpool lane is NOT a passing lane. The leftmost regular lane, a.k.a. passing lane, is the lane to the RIGHT of the carpool lane. Guy was NOT 'camping'.
That guy was doing 55 then sped up to over 80 because he's a dick.
Even if the far left lane isn’t a carpool lane, people don’t seem to treat it as a passing lane in CA anyway. It’s just another lane, or “the fast lane”, even if it isn’t a legal thing anyway.
2:08 - That appeared to be ongoing road rage, not just a hit & run. The red car seemed to be deliberately trying to slow down or block the Excursion. Looks like they lost.
6:55 - Might want to check the HOV hours. If you're outside the HOV hours for that lane, then it's a normal traffic lane. Even so, why try to speed up to deliberately block someone from passing you when you're happy with the speed you're at? That's BS. You're the one with the issue because you can't handle the fact that others might want to pass you.
I am sick and tired of people moaning and whining about drivers using the left lane, but doubly so when the left lane ISN'T THE PASSING LANE.
For Pink Floyd, the Johnny Cash.
4:29 He's not blind, he realized the cammer was a left lane camper and he was going to get stuck behind the cammer so he acted quickly to safely merge in front of the cammer.
I came here to post this
Road rage often starts with an unnecessary brake check.
No, a brake check is often the result of road rage, it's nearly always done in retaliation.
It is scary how many drivers don't recognize or understand HOV lanes. YOU are creating problems and your own rage because you are ignorant of actual laws and road signage.

7:00 blocking passing lane like an ignorant child....
Note the diamond painted in the lane - high-occupancy vehicles only are allowed there. Not blocking a passing lane.
Sorry, but if you are flowing with everyone else in the left lane, you are lane camping.
They were in the lane reserved for two or more people in the car. NOT lane camping. If you are a single person in a vehicle, you are not allowed to drive in that lane. It's used to encourage ridesharing and reduce traffic.
But he was taking over the cars in the other lanes. Does it still count as camping?
@@chadmagnus5850 LOL They can pass that way, as long as they have the correct number of people in their vehicle.
@@xo2quilt ah, did not realize it was the multiple occupancy lane. My bad.
@@DRGreene54 Since where I live doesn't have them, they stand out to me.
10:30 The foreign driver learned they can go against traffic... and they will again and again because no one blocked and made them go in the right diection.
6:55 Cammer failure to use the left lane for its intended purpose. The left lane is NOT your personal camping ground. YES, the cammer was camping.
Watch again dumbo, he's in an HOV lane. There is no such thing as camping in an HOV lane
It is a high-occupancy vehicle lane - the diamond painted in the lane tells you that. You must have two or more people in the vehicle to legally drive in that lane. NOT camping.
@@xo2quilt Then what good is that lane, if you are not passing anyone? Huh? Yeah, don't bother answering because you can't.
@@edgeofentropy3492 are you really that stupid? It's a carpool lane. For vehicles with 2 or more occupants because they're saving the planet by carpooling. It's also for motorcycles and electric vehicles. It's not a passing lane.
@@edgeofentropy3492 The stated purpose of diamond lanes is to conserve fuel and cut down on pollution. The unstated purpose is to make driving miserable for most people so they will consider using mass transit instead. Regardless of that, by law if you have a ULEV and/or have the required number of occupants in your vehicle, you may use the lane and are under no obligation to move for anyone who wishes to go faster than you are. Keep right unless passing does not apply.
Mike Waters says he wasn't "lane camping". But that is literally the definition of lane camping. If you're not actively overtaking, move over to the right. That kind of ignorance is why people like him are so dangerous.
That's a diamond lane, the normal keep right unless passing rules do not apply to diamond lanes.
Sorry, but you are ignorant of the purpose of that lane.
