    Hello Foresty!
I discovered your channel about three or four weeks ago. I loved the
first video I saw, Finding Nemo, which got recommended to me via the YT algorithm,
thanks RUclips! After that, I watched your first minivan video. I loved that one too, so I
decided to watch more! : ) After about 30 videos, I made it my mission to watch all
of your (up to now 198) videos on this main channel, including your biking trails.
Yesterday evening I watched this last one. Mission complete! Man, what a ride.
I honestly never got bored. I love all the different elements in your videos.
The adventures in a variety of different places (plus the beautiful footage), the cooking,
the builds in the van(s), etc. On top of that I love your 'it is what it is'-attitude. You are just you.
You never try to come across as something/someone more than you really are.
And that’s a rare thing on RUclips (and other platforms) nowadays. Don’t spend your
energy on the critics (I saw your latest Moresty video). I’m convinced that the people that stick
around and also support you in other ways (Patreon etc.) are doing so because you do
your own thing and you just are who you are. Thank you for the hours and hours of
    awesome and inspiring content! Cheers

You are the man. So is anyone that goes from normal air to thinner air, wait for it, on foot. Kudos for another great adventure. As long as nothing is amiss on the brakes a rattle is pretty normal. As an old mechanic once told a customer, “If you brakes “squeal” when you put them on it means they are working”. There can be 5000 parking spaces and someone will pull right beside close enough to bang their door on yours. I had a 1973 Dodge 3/4 ton van that brakes rattled for 350,000 miles on every bump.

Wow Simon that is no joke, my biggest day is doing Big Interior Mountain on Vancouver Island here at 2200 meters. I was dead tired for days after that so I can't imagine what almost another 1000 meters would feel like.

No one will ever fault you for working on a rig at an auto parts store. Usually some of the nicest people out there, prob come out and ask you if you need any help. I’ve always had good luck crisscrossing the nation in junkers. Not that, that van is a junker, she’s a sweet piece!

We love your videos, too bad for anyone who doesn't like them, their loss. We can't travel right now so we especially like seeing your hiking, history, drone footage and van life experience. Thank you for all you do!!

Beautiful camera work - you’re a natural, for the framing is always perfect. The humour in some of your scenes lifts my heart.
No going back to the factory for you, Simon! Talent like this is rare, you let the mountain be the star.. Utah blew me away…
Oh, and thanks for this content on a personal level - going through a hard time here in the UK and you help me de-stress and sleep!

I drove with my family to the top as a child, later MTB'd it the top in '96. There are quite a few hot springs up towards Mammoth. Most dirt roads lead to a spring.

Impressive! I've only hiked to the summit from the trailhead which starts at 11,700ish feet. I didn't even know there was another way to get to the summit.

I always end up hungry after you make a slow cook meal! That was quite a climb. It was good that you had dinner ready when you got back. I'm happy to hear that there is a road to the top. That's the only way I'm going to get up there. Probably take some oxygen with me. I wish that I would have been able to travel when I was young. Thanks so much for taking videos. I really enjoy them.

Buy those brake pad sliders @ Pep Boys. They should come with hi temp grease.
Don't leave that steel in there. They will rust and cause trouble.

Y’all gotta “glue” the pads to the caliper using “stop squeal” type of stuff. I like the orange “disc brake quiet.” Stops the rattles like a champ.
