I have the utmost respect for this guy! He makes is look easy but what he does is high level mountaineering. Not to mention his witty humour, mechanical and cooking skills. You are a national treasure, man! Please stay safe out there!
He’s amazing 🎈
Lol it's barely mountaineering let alone high level.
I agree
@@ozsnowbum . Always one idiot with a snide remark.
His Videography and Video editing skills are also top notch! Video, Stills and also drone shots, all while the physical stuff. A complete story teller. Only those of is in the Photography/Video business can truly appreciate his effort and quality of the production.
This Video is as good /great as it gets. Like the overnight camping in the bush. No Fear. No question Foresty Forest is the real Deal. This climb reveals FF's physical prowess and mountaineering skills. 🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👍
Thank you Darrell, have a good night 👍
Sometimes one “like” just isn’t enough. I’ll miss your snowy mountain drone footage when you head south
I'm sure the preparation off camera is no joke
@@andrewtataryn6967 totally agree ... ton of work.
one of the best journeys so far . and easily one of the top 10 videos on the channel .
The Jingle is back! I thought it might be gone for good. Music to my ears.
So glad it is back!!!
I missed it
He has it off and on. i never notice when its gone till he brings it back and i realize it was missing! hooray for the foresty jingle!
Such a shame she used FF to build her van and then ghosted him
@@himhim3344 Who is "she"
Seriously...that one shot of him climbing up the side....breathtaking!!!
The fact you do this without support or a film crew is incredible. Stay safe brother.
Foresty has us all tricked...he has an entire team "behind the scenes"...even a Director that yells "and action."🤣🤣
Was thinking the same thing myself. Survivor man style!
@@b-man1232 🤣
Holy crap that drone shot pull back was amazing!
😃👀🤯🥂😁🕺✌😎
Yes it was!
one of the best journeys so far . 10/10 .
it blew my mind!
Exactly that was stunning!
11:37 thank you for demonstrating some responsible backcountry leave no trace with that fire pit.
No problem i wish everyone would clean up after themselves.
‘The balls on some people’ 😂😂. Little bitta the ole pot calling the kettle black. 😂😂
You said it! Made me laugh, too!
Me three.
FF....stay the fuck SAFE, dude; shit happens. I've had 5-6 close calls mountaineering, and three of those were solo. My uncle and I were doing rainier in 1975; he was leading, roped....and disappeared in front of me, face-planting me/dragging me, until it stopped. Roped, he was danging down about 15-20ft.; me topside- about 10ft. from the fissure. I had to pull him up w/ the rope; he was 230#, I was 160. We were LUCKY. And this was after getting caught in whiteout conditions for 3 days; had to build a snow block igloo. So, I ADMIRE what you do, despite the occasional flashbacks you induce in me @65, and I'm "retired" from climbing! You GET out there, get after it; and deliver epic drone footage everytime. People have no idea about the physicality of what you're doing....FILMING, backtracking, repositioning, HAULING gear, etc.= kudos for the effort and results.
Thank you for spelling it out for the naysayers.
One of the best summits I’ve seen with you Foresty. Simply breathtaking footage. You’re a true artist man 🤙🏽
totally agree
I three.
Can't wait for the Foresty Forrest cook book to come out. Call it Recipes from the Road..a complete guide to Van Life Cooking. I'd buy that.
My Dear Lone Wolf,
You put the 'awe' in 'awesome' with that pull back drone shot at 9:16
Can't wait for Foresty US addition. It's gonna be epic!
Agreed. Pumped
I get freaked out when he hits those steep snowpacked peaks. I can't imagine coming back down either. Amazing.
I wonder if you are the most prolific climber in Western Canada the past few years? Your endurance and drive are incredible.
well said
Thank you, been fun to share these trips! There are some people out there crushing summits that make my jaw drop though haha. I wish they would start channels.
@@forestyforest dude you're next level though
For real Foresty Forest is a BEAST! Stop by WA we have some good hiking too
He's more of a hiker. He doesn't climb much. Plus he's not a risk taker at all. Anything remotely sketchy and he runs back to the van.
These videos are so f'n good and just keep getting better. Thanks FF!
about sums it up
Life is not measured by the amount of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
Showing us all what living life to the fullest really means
Living in a van all by yourself is living life to the fullest?
@@janoycresnova9156 no . living independent . self-sufficient . self accomplished . adventurous . connected to nature . breathing fresh air . sharing your life journey with millions of people on the internet . doesn’t get any fuller than that buddy .
@@SammyJoee what is he really accomplishing in his life? No stable job, no kids, no wife, no future. He's mooching off Patreon supporters and lives in van all alone, occasional going on a hike. Just saying there are always two sides to a coin. It's not nearly as glamourous and great as his vides make it out to be.
You have your look at what like should be and I have mine. A stable job has nothing to do with my feeling 'complete'.. and that's frankly twisted if you do unless that job is working for yourself. Look at yourself.. here bitching about someone else's lifestyle. If you don't enjoy go watch something else, simple-minded troll.
@@janoycresnova9156 who’s to say really what’s the perfect life and what’s not . to each their own .
Foresty has balls of steel.
Forestry you wow me. Found you back when you had the little van. Lost track of you for a bit.. now bigger Van and bigger mountains. Be safe. Have fun.
Bigger pot too.
Foresty , you are living the dream for so many of us watching. It’s coming up to 10pm on a dark, wet and windy evening here in England right now and you’ve lifted my mood once again. One of your best adventures yet imho, keep on trucking buddy 👍🏻 😎
I will never get tired of him calling bears “ding dongs”
NO WAY am I sleeping on the ground in Grizzly/Black Bear/Mountain Lion/Pitch Black woods in the middle of no where!!! Foresty, you've earned my RESPECT!!
Great shot of the hazy full moon as it illuminates the mountains. Go Go Forestry!
One of the better videos on your channel! Really exciting. Some mechanical work, a multi-day excursion! Camping away from the van. Amazing adventure.
Thank you!
I find myself with a big smile, shaking my head in wonder! Thank you once again!
Ditto!
I think you’ve covered everyone’s interest in this video..van install, hiking , camping, mountain climbing and cooking
That was a crazy climb with creepy crevasses lurking nearby!
The camping filming was neat..
Stay safe and take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
My god the culinary creations that come out of that unassuming campware pot.
Foresty Forest Jingle is back !!!
Besides Everything else Foresty does...he has a Roadside Mechanic Shop.....is there Anything you can't do ????? Total respect !!
He can’t work a factory job in the city anymore after living this awesome life! Jk I’m sure he could but that would be awful!
@@OrionsKelt Totally agree Graham.. His soul would shrivel up and die....I worked in a factory for 15 yrs....our Foresty needs to be protected at all costs. :)
If you don't count having a job, wife, family, friends, house then I guess yeah he can do everything.
@@janoycresnova9156 Are you serious? Is that what you want in today's world? A job, a wife, and kids? And be stuck for years in their possession?? Yessir, that's success..LOL
@@OrionsKelt It's worse than awful, it's a Living Hell!
Wow this felt like old times with Foresty Forest!!! Yes, some people have some balls lol. Sweet victory for sure. Thanks for the adventure and yes, we would love to see you down South soon ❤️❤️❤️
Yay! You brought back your intro. Love it forestry forest. I sing it often and my friend asked me what I was singing, so I pulled your channel up and the song was back. Thank you. Your channel is so Great. Real life adventurer. Auto repair. Shopping trips. Laundrey. Recipes. Beer. Amaizing trips with man making his way through natures rugged rough terrain. Scenery that is breathtaking. Music and down to earth detailed commentary. An occasional added character to enhance the magic of the adventure, Not to mention the professional way you put things together. It's the complete package for me.
Thick forest growth, no problem. Steep mountain, no problem. Foresty Forest is the human "Spiderman "!
I swear Foresty and Steve are like, you wanna upload on the same day today and make people happy??!!!
I just finished Steve’s and this dropped!

Everything in this video is beautiful.. Life imitates art , art imitates life . Forest is a man making his life an art .. can’t wait to see him in the states
Another classic Foresty video! Bushwacking, climbing awesome mountains, sleeping among bears & mountain lions. Then finds the time to cook, sew, fix his home/van & edit videos. Thanks for sharing, those are mountains that many of us won't get the chance to visit.
A perfect FF video: some tinkering under the hood, bushwacking, a glorious summit, the boomerang Money Shot, and of course good food. It's great you had that weather window to pull that off. Thanks.
you forgot to mention, the Foresty Forest jingle off the top. Just a perfect video all around! LeBron, Gretzky, Simon -- goats all.
Yea the theme song! Love the stupendous drone shots. I was glad to see you show what to do after you have a campfire.
How the hell do you find your gear on the way back? I can't even find my socks in my 800 sq. ft. apartment.
LOL
luv your video, as always
I would not like to sleep on my own out on the woods, I would find it creepy.
you always make nice food.
your amazing track and climbing up in the snow.
fantastic filming.
stay safe
Haha love the clip of you trying to stand up with your pack-I’ve been there lol
You smashed it out of the park with this video. So many great videos you have made. Quite superb. Thanks for making them.
Lol “The balls on some people” as he’s crawling up a snowy mountain you my friend have some major balls
We're heading in February in our newly converted sprinter 4x4 from Victoria, on our way to Argentina. Would love to meet up - love the videos and it would be awesome to cross paths.
“It’s nice when things work out especially when you don’t know what you’re getting into” is a philosophy I can live by.
You are incredibly relaxed in situations that would have people freaking out on reality tv. Love how down to earth and confident you are in the mountains!
Forest, it probably takes you longer to summit getting all the excellent footage. Your effort was not missed. You sleeping out there in the open like that! My Man!!! No Fear!!! And your expression at 8:05 is hilarious!! Dude the way you made sure that fire was all out, Smokey would have been so proud. Great video! Thanks!!!
That view while you were on top the climb just insane. Scary cause I hate heights but beautiful .well because it is lol
Another grand adventure. Humor, great sites, cooking, equipment, night skies - just fabulous. Thanks.
Hey man loving the content I don’t really comment on anyone I’m subbed to but I absolutely love what your doing keep up the great work and I hope you reach 1M subs!!!!!!
Thank you Peter!
Forestry is the real deal, mountaineer, bushwacker, camp cook, roadside mechanic, guide, vanlifer, and videographer! Love your videos!❤️
I couldn't imagine being out there in bear county without a bang bang. I'd gift you my Raging Bull if I could.
9:13…That’s some unbelievable footage. Your attention to detail on these vlogs is unmatched.
That Maple Leaf bumper is sick. Haven't noticed it before.
the dedication to get those shots while battling to survuve and climb, mad respect
Good evening from Godley Texas, not only are you an adventurer you're a travelling gourmet cook. Thanks for taking us along. Stay safe.😎
I'm glad that you didn't hike in the dark. Loved the spot where you spent the night. Mountain scenery was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Mate that was one of the best!!!
Absolutely jealous at your life!!!
You need to start doing more over night and but bush crafting !!!
Living vicariously through you in your epic adventures until I can get back out there.
You definitely earned that beer! Wow!
What beautiful mountains you sure are dedicated to the climb and your pictures are phenomenal ! Love watching your videos.
This is the very heart of the Columbia Mountains, in eastern British Columbia Province, they run parallel to, and only about 10 km / 6 miles apart from, the Rocky Mountains which are along the border with Alberta Province. A huge deep valley, called the Rocky Mountain Trench, separates the two for their entire length of about 1500 km or 900 miles, there are notable geological, botanical, and wildlife differences between the 2 mountain systems. They are named after the upper Columbia River, as was the province, which is the largest river in western North America, it starts here, farther downstream it flows into the USA Northwest. The Selkirk Range is one of 4 large sub-ranges of the Columbia Mountains, the others are the Monashees, Purcells, and Cariboos. Total area is about 50,000 square miles, not including the Rockies, and it all looks pretty much like this. Only a few small timber and mining towns exist, mostly in the southern parts of the ranges, few valleys remain un-touched by logging today, all the back-roads F.F. travels on are old logging roads, a large percentage of the wood-frame houses in Canada and the USA were built with timber from this region, as well as from the Coast-Cascade Mountains along the Pacific Coast. Skiing by helicopter was first commercially developed here in the 1960's, and has since become legendary in the sport of skiing world-wide.
Gotta luv the intro theme song.
Since the sound of the ninja foodie was removed, it still ring to my head Everytime I see it lol
Yessss. This made my day!!! Thanks Foresty. Always watching and following along.
that was quite the episode. van upgrade, 2 day hike with awesome scenery then a ninja meal. hope you enjoy the states
Refrigerators draw more current when they’re in a cold environment. Seems strange but true!
Thanks for the beautiful mountains 💯💯👍
Prolific FIR sure !
What a great adventure that looked like🍻
It was great to chat today, thanks for taking the time.
“Mountains ARE Marvellous”
I always know it’s going to be a GREAT video when it starts with the Foresty Forest jingle! 🎶
Not sure why he isnt using it everytime its his melody
I remember you cooked that same meal in the first video I watched of yours 2 years ago. It was that video that went viral of you sleeping outside of Walmart in your old minivan.
Forest , thank you for the footage of these climbs, i sit in my recliner and that was so easy to climb, 11,450 ft wow i think my nose went to bleeding. Thanks Forest
Oooooo, yes, that fade away shot with your drone was great. Really shows what you are attempting.
Another banger!! Thanks for those epic mountain views!
You make it look so easy, but three days round trip with video and jaw-dropping drone shots, followed by cooking and editing, I appreciate the effort. Like a lot of your video this came out really well. You need a second song for, "Foresty Forest he *works* on a van".
Mate... impressed ++ with the climb, the footage and your resilience to get the job done solo. You rule.
Accompanied only with Dave Chappelle and Jonah Hill he goes back to teach the 🏔️Iconoclast Mountain a real lesson.
Foresty Foresty forgives but he doesn't forget!
after watching his videos I tought I could climb those mountains too. My partner and I got our asses kicked in the Purcells. Foresty is a beast
I got physically weak in my stomach. I can not do heights. You were vertical. Respect does not cover it. Amazing scenes. Thank you for sharing.
For the fridge, 26ah for 36 hours works out to an average of about 10 watts per hour. Maybe a 50 watt draw 20% of the time. Then 45ah for dinner, nice to have to extra juice of a 200ah battery.
Another great video mr foresty, thanks for making great videos for us all to enjoy.
Foresty Forest and Steve Wallis videos on the same day. I know what I’m doing with the next hour or so.
Excellent views! Amazing trek.
Man I love these overnight videos! The "looks like there's a notch there/there was no notch there, just snow" edit was hilarious. Thanks Forest!
Yeah, Forest has the best humor .. so matter of fact.
So nonchalant...over something that would be a tragedy to most!
@@MomCat6000 absolutely, Foresty Forest right there ^ ^

Dude, 9:10, our guy walked around, placed the camera walked back down from the side to give us that shot - that and so many others like that. Thanks a lot Foresty!
“ The balls on some people. “ you included, 😂
That was a really good video enjoyed that summit hike alot and loved that you took the time to make your campsite look like no one was ever there.
Your production value get's higher in every video. Netflix should give you a deal for a documentary series. Your videos are truly amazing!

Epic climb, Love the drone pullback shot. Amazing, as always.
What stunning footage, Forrest. Just wow. Kudos, my good man.
My luck I would get just about to the peak, slip and roll down the mountain and be a large snowball at the bottom with just my hands and feet sticking out. 😨🤣 Nice job getting to the top. Thank you for taking us on your adventures. 👍🏻😎
The planned bivouac. Essential for the bigger objectives. Well done!
Once again spectacular! I keep reminding myself how often you have to goo back to retrieve your camera.
I know right, I marvel at the spots he has to do that. Like over the rock fall slope in this video. Forest ain't no slacker
9:16 Don't know how you did it but it's an amazing shot.
Been watching you for a while, but 9:12 blew me away. A visual perspective of the whole journey!
