im just gonna sound like a broken record here with all the other comments, but its clear that nobody is coming back to your channel to see the different summits and destinations my man, we're all here for the foresty forest experience, the shots of you making a fire and cracking jokes, shots of you walking through the snow, talking about the van build, your sense of humour and just the overal cosy sense of your videos. Woudn't stress about trying to keep on the move if you think its what is keeping your channel growing, but if it gives you drive to make videos then by all means, just don't think any of us here are worried about it the way you may think

You don't need to worry about looking good on RUclips. Most of us watch your channel because you are just sharing your real life experiences and trying to be genuine. You and Advernture Van Man are my favorites. Watching your videos helps me unwind at the end of the day. A lot of "Van Life" RUclipsrs get too caught up in trying to oversell the lifestyle with constant shots of scenic vistas and making everything seem too "perfect". Don't even get me started on the "hot girl lives in a van" channels. lol!

Yes, another backpacker who stops to analyze lichens in awe like I do! They really make the difference in a winter scene, adding pops of lime vibrancy. I stopped to get (too many) macro shots of lichens on my latest winter backpacking trip, nearly sacrificing my fingers as a result. You should try growing a rack of lichens in your van! They only need an occasional misting of water, and to be kept on their original branches. I call them the Canadian houseplant 😁

You should get a dash cam for filming some of the drive and do time lapses, that would be really cool, some of the roads you were on looked amazing!

You don't need to worry about looking good on RUclips. Most of us watch your channel because you are just sharing your real life experiences and trying to be genuine. You and Advernture Van Man are my favorites. Watching your videos helps me unwind at the end of the day. A lot of "Van Life" RUclipsrs get too caught up in trying to oversell the lifestyle with constant shots of scenic vistas and making everything seem too "perfect". Don't even get me started on the "hot girl lives in a van" channels. lol!

I love your videos but constantly wonder what drives adventures like you... and going it solo. I guess it’s in your dna, but wandering solo thru forests & mountains... and in winter, seems unnecessarily dangerous to me.... but I love that you do it & always excited to watch!

I know.. some of those mountains are just jaw-dropping. Went up to Glacier Nat'l Park one year, and growing up in the Rockies in the US, their mountains were like serious! Beautiful terrain.. add that with his sense of humor.. great combo.
At Gros Morne Park, up above the fiord, you can see rock that came from Europe near or next to the native rock.

Yes, another backpacker who stops to analyze lichens in awe like I do! They really make the difference in a winter scene, adding pops of lime vibrancy. I stopped to get (too many) macro shots of lichens on my latest winter backpacking trip, nearly sacrificing my fingers as a result. You should try growing a rack of lichens in your van! They only need an occasional misting of water, and to be kept on their original branches. I call them the Canadian houseplant 😁

I'm slightly beyond your adventure status at this point in my life (81) Foresty, but am totally impressed by your sense of adventure. And....you hold it all together with some amazing photography, zest for life and a backpack full of wonderful humour. I'm in the middle of a van build again, but my advenures may be a little tame by your standard. Still, adventures they will be. As you well know, our province is full of backroads to whereever.
