- Some van cooking, a complete electrical overview, and snowshoeing to Carson's Peak. Why the heck don't I have skis?! I didn't have anywhere to store them with the minivan setup, now it's too late this year to buy them... Foresty Forest will look into skiing next winter. Snowshoeing everywhere will have my legs very strong for this summer, when I plan to crush an obscene amount of peaks. Can't wait.

I was working on my van in a Home Depot parking lot in Dayton, Ohio and this guy drives by and yells, “do you watch Foresty Forest?” I’m like, “Heck yeah! We love Foresty!” ❤️

Good for you! At 71, I empathize :-). A bike has made a huge difference to me. It's low (no) impact and you can go further afield than walking, just to explore. Plus, a little wind in the face feels great.

Speak for yourself. It’s easy to forget all the negatives he has to deal with living in a van. No space, no accessible bathroom or shower, having to plan where you’ll sleep every night, tiny bed, smelly wet rags and clothes, no social life or regular human interaction with friends, the list goes on. This dude seems equipped to deal with all that but if you shouldn't compare yourself to others without taking all aspects into account. Otherwise you're comparing yourself to a person that doesn't exist. Be grateful for what you have and im sure you’d enjoy life as much as he does. Cheers bro.

@@Hypeman10 yeah this is exactly how I feel. Even the good moments he has are the same thing every day, hiking to some high place and eating. I feel for the guy but he’s dodging property taxes, as well as a litany of other real life responsibilities so I guess it’s a trade off.

The advantage of having a drone is really 2 fold, besides getting absolutely amazing shots. If one were lost, its an amazing tool to get your bearings, just fly it up and do a 360 degree recording and watch it.
Indeed, drones are an underrated survival tool. I remember a prepper video that mentioned it.

I don't know about everyone else, but I've found the Instantpot to be inferior to the Crockpot for slow cooks. There's really something to be said about the ceramic and the way it distributes heat.
Every slow cooks I've made in my Instantpot turned out completely flavorless. I thought my Instantpot could replace my Crockpot, but in the end I ended up keeping both, because I need my Crockpot for slow cooks.

Your production quality really is top notch and the drone presents the landscape with a real sense of breath-taking scale and drama. The episode is like two tales in one.
