This movie was incredibly influential all over the pop-culture from movies to videogames. As silly as it may sound I heard about it when I found out it Inspired a bollywood movie which was classic cop vs criminal story too but was more like fast and furious in aesthetic rather than anything like heat.
The ending of heat just gets me no matter how many times I watch it

Je viens de voir le film. Pendant la scène avec Neil dans l'appartement vide face à la mer, une palette de nuances bleues, je me suis tout de suite dit "j'espère qu'il y a un The beauty of Heat".
À la scène finale, je me suis dit "j'espère qu'il y a un the beauty of Heat avec la musique " God moving on the Face of waters"".
Et bien-sûr je vois que tout y est.
