Just picked up a reef octopus calc reactor with the carbon doser. Im not running an apex or hydros. So im going to be running a Milwaukee ph controller for my reactor. This video is awesome best explanation on youtube

@@niagarafirecorals problem I am having is at the connection to the apex. I got some crc entropic connector cleaner and it seems to help. Also my probe is 3 years old haha

got my aquamaxx calcium reactor setup like yours, whats the trick in getting the air out, i can't get the circulation pump chambers and top area to fill all the way up , space at top won't fill, thanks in advance

I attached a piece of RO line at the highest fitting. Then held it up and continued filling it until the water came out of the RO line which left the chamber full no air. However, if you just leave it, the air will work its way out in time.

@niagarafirecorals ok, I just have the kamoer pump running, should I turn on the circulation pump also because when I had it on its noisy and gurgling because it's no full of water , also should i have the kamoer pump full go or not, I have it pulling not pushing

@trainsandthings as long as the pump is pumping water it's fine to turn on. Just don't run it dry. The gurgling will eventually work its way out

@niagarafirecorals thanks for your help, I figured it out, that pre-filter cylinder was suckin air in the top connector, wasn't holding pressure, changed it and now it's working, thanks again
