I started buying raw milk for my family a few years ago too. My daughter was getting such stomach aches. We had to avoid dairy. But with raw milk she does fine! Not going to lie kiefer sounds interesting and little scared to make it. But with all your info it’s sounding better than it did a few mins ago😂

I've been curious about kefir for awhile now, so this was perfect! What would the difference be, benefit wise, between kefir and something like kombucha or even homemade yogurt? Is kefir just another probiotic option or does it have greater benefits than other fermented drinks?
Also, smoothies and popcorn are a Saturday night staple for our family!
Ok, so kefir will have much more gut health benefits than yogurt. As far as the difference between kefir and kombucha, I’m not actually sure. We do both but I know we limit kombucha to a small cup each day. Kefir we don’t limit at all.
