    We appreciate the shout out :) Quick note - That white fuzz actually isn't mold, its called "flowers of kefir" You can google that if you want to learn about it more. Generally harmless but it doesn't taste the best. Your kefir looks amazing by the way. Keep up the good work!

    Hellooooo Heather, Levi & Kid’s 🥰 it’s been awhile I haven’t been on RUclips I’ve been busy😀 But I have to say my Brother in Law makes this all the time & drinks it everyday.     You’re grains look very healthy!! I’ve been making Kefir for about 6 weeks. I am LOVING it! I enjoy working with the grains, straining them and making more. Trying to find that sweet spot of thickness as I find mine to be thinner than I’d like and still need to gone on and try a second ferment with fruit.

      It never occurred to me to do the second ferment until I saw my sister in law do it! I've done second ferments with kombucha and Jun so it makes sense but it still never occurred to me! Haha

    This looks like a fun project. I will definitely try it out. I have heard that kefir is helpful to drink while you are taking antibiotics and afterward.

    I've made raw milk kefir for the past decade. Usually we use it in our smoothies, but I make cheese with some and soak my homemade granolanin it before dehydrating it.

      Cheese!! Do you just strain the thick kefir through a yogurt strainer or kitchen cloth?

    I have been trying to try this but I can’t have dairy so the idea of being able to do it plant-based is amazing because I have a machine to make my own plant-based milks

      @auntdayskitcchen6315 @sageandstonehomestead The Kefir grains need lactose (milk sugars) from mammals milk. If you use them for plant-based milks, you will need to “refresh” them frequently in cow/goat/mammal milk. Do a bit of research. There are videos and blogs that explain it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not on the FusionTea website (or wherever you got your grains from).❤
