    We are so happy to see more and more people adopting this magical tool. Also, we really like how you call it - The golden teacher. We highly recommend people to give the name for their rope. Giving a name makes it real, as well as something that can be communicated about. This is a constructive achievement. May the flow be with you, brother!

    Your personal growth has been exceptional over the years. My 8 Yr old boy seems to be very connected to the movement of his body. He goes around the house doing an "ape walk" (much like your warrior training I recall you doing?) and he is very fluid in doing it,it's incredible to watch. I think I might buy him a rope and give him an afternoon to see what he naturally does with it and then show him this video.
    Great video Tim. All the best to you, from Kent

    It’s been a week and I’ve managed to do a lot of the moves including the dragon roll and the sneak on both sides. I’m just working on flowing with it all. The rope beats me up a little, lol. And I’m doing this with a fused skull - c2 (0% rotation in my neck and can’t lift it up, just down), scoliosis ( I bend to the left), ankylosing spondylitis, ulcerative colitis, arthritis in both hips and few things I might have forgot and I’m managing to get the rope patterns and get a crazy workout from it. This might be my new best friend

    Wow! Now I feel i have some understanding of the purpose of the rope work, & how it facilitates integrating body movements together in a smoother way.. really fascinating! I'm so woefully stiff & unco that it looks both beautiful & daunting. I think I will start by getting the Mindful Warrior lessons, & starting at at the most basic ones. I have already started doing the floor work, here on the foreshore. Thanks so much, Tim, for posting that one!🙏🌱

    Great video! I bought an RMT Rope and have been using it every day. I bought it to expand my workout repertoire, but it has done so much more. This simple rope will teach you how to move your body properly and more effectively, open your shoulders and improve mobility (which I needed badly), improve your coordination and balance and bring you into a state of moving meditation like no other. It's almost as if the killer cardio aspect is a neat little side effect. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of the rope.

    Very interesting, it brings to mind dance, for me. Dancing this morning out in the sun, I noticed co-ordination is also so important in dance, it is also very fluid and I feel would connect both the brain hemispheres, though in a different way. Instead of physically holding onto something, often in dance you are creating symmetrical patters/movements with the left and right limbs. hmm

    I've always liked any flow practice and taken to them quickly. Poi, staff, juggling sticks, whatever. My favorite so far has been hooping, but I'm coming back to fitness after a long hiatus between the pandemic and a serious shoulder injury. All that sedentary time has left my core so stiff and misaligned that I can't hoop for long enough to get the cardio benefit I need, and I come away with more trunk and back pain and stiffness. This looks like exactly the flow practice I need to get my core opened up, get the cardio workout necessary to rebalance my weight, and rehab my rotator cuff at the same time!

      It's pretty easy. Hold the rope about in the middle in your right hand so that you have loads of rope to work with. Take one loose end and make 5 or 6 wide loops around the other half of the rope near to your right hand. Then feed this loose end that you have been looping back up through all of the loops you have made. Start sliding all of the loops up toward this end which you just fed through them all until they start to tighten together. Once tight enough, boom you got a handle.

  • @joelnapoli7341
    @joelnapoli7341 4 года назад +3

    It does look good but I don’t exactly understand how swinging a rope makes you better at throwing and running as opposed to learn the damn movements by actually doing them.
    Few months ago you stood in a car after a Functional Patterns course telling people to NOT BUY your program (you cancelled the video) but to go to fp instead. Now it’s the Weck method. I’m sorry, but it all sounds very ambiguous and it sounds a lot like trying to hype and sell the next fitness novelty high.
    I understand the concept of the rope, the mechanics of the rebound behind it and all...but our ancestors didn’t do this.
    Weck hasn’t produced anything relevant in a while and he actually looks like someone a bit desperate to stay relevant. Don’t get me wrong at least he’s on the locomotion “train of thought” and not peddling back squats and all that bullshit. But from there to claiming to reinvent the wheel with a rope and maracas?
    Aguilar and his guys are doing things the weck method is not remotely achieving. So all this seems a bit disingenuous.

      On one of his videos he was eating steak and eggs. So he has not gone back to veganism and I'm glad he hasn't. Just leave him alone.

    Timothy, why don't you remove your tattoos? They are inharmonious and not aesthetic at all. Stupid rappers, sportsmen, perverts and so called "stars" made them popular. Why do people follow this "fasion" like brainless? Personality is man's actions that helpful for other people, that move mankind forward. Personality is not tattoos, piercing, green hair and other immature stuff.
