    Thank you so much for making this video! We are having this exact problem, because I pressed on the silver handle too hard once

    Thanks, I just fixed the Keurig at work with my multi-tool. There's a metal tab by the sensor switch I bent back so it always depresses the button so the unit recognizes it's closed. This video helped me go straight to the 2 screws I needed to take out.

    Thank you so much for this. Literally couldn’t find this anywhere else. I made the mistake of putting a mug too big that put too much strain and I needed to put a coin on the lever to keep it pushed down. I’m going to take it apart this weekend and with this I should be able to fix it.

    This video is very well done and will help me to a degree in fixing my problem. My keurig is the same model as yours but the problem I'm having is that the lid closes but it doesn't latch. None of the interent searching I have done addresses this problem. do you have any clues?

      More than likely, it sounds like the hatch hasn’t been seated correctly. If it’s not latched in the back before screwing the front screws on, it will not latch properly. I hope that helps!

    Good info. My problem is my lid sticks open. I bought fix on line but I broke the fix, you need to glue them I did not.

      Yeah, I have seen a video for that fix. I definitely didn’t have that problem...yet.😁

    My problem is very different, I was given the Keurig K2.0-300 as a gift and today I went to use it for the first time ever and it won't brew, so I thought it was just the pod that wasn't working right, so I put another one in and nothing took it out got a flashlight unpluged it and looked around found what looks like a camera, so I google Keurig K2.0-300 camera and it's called a DRM and I looked at the DRM and it's completely broken but there is no error message telling me this and I can't find any answers on how to get the Keurig to brew any coffee if the DRM is broken is there any way to get it to work or do I need to contact Keurig to see what they can do since the machine has been discontinued. Please let me know.

      I would see if you can order that part online if it is no longer under warranty, if you think that will solve the issue.🤷‍♂️

    Somehow the pod basket disconnected from the lid and now it doesn’t pop up and out when I open the lid. I can’t find a fix for it anywhere.

      If this is after you took it apart, it sounds like the top piece isn’t slipped in there correctly. 🤷‍♂️

    Can you splice or cut the wire so it doesn't have to be reclosed all the time for brewing? I much rather just have those buttons always being functional instead of just when ever the lid thinks I closed it. (which most of the time its wrong or doesn't know that I changed the coffee pod. Its really dumb to turn off lit buttons in the first place lol)

      I suppose you could, but I don’t know why you’d want to do that. The whole point of it being designed like that is so that it brews correctly with the lid down as opposed to accidentally brewing when the lid isn’t closed properly.🤔

    Do you know how to get to the switch on the K900 model? Mine is doing the same thing.

    For some reason my housing screw holes no longer line up correctly so when I put the screws in it won't close all of the way. The back of the housing is hitting the back of the maker. Not sure how to resolve this

    • @rutterrealtygc
      @rutterrealtygc  2 года назад

      It’s tricky to get the back latched, but you must get the back seated correctly prior to screwing it in. Opening the lid halfway will allow you to slide it back and get it seated correctly.
