Valve Cover Gasket Replacement - Honda Odyssey 3.5 V6 VTEC
If you have a VTEC 3.5 V6 Honda Odyssey leaking oil down the front or rear of your engine, this might be the cause! There is an I-VTEC with a slightly different pattern valve cover, which requires two spots to have additional sealant at the sharp corners. When the valve cover gasket fails you can have oil leaking down the front and/or rear of the engine! If the spark plug seals fail, you can have oil filling up the tube where your spark plugs go. I noticed oil leaking down the front of our engine, which is what inspired me to change the valve cover gasket and spark plug seals. I try to use OEM Honda parts when possible if it isn't that much of a price difference, they're long lasting part...

How to Fix a Weed Eater that Won't Run

If you are like most people and you use ethanol gasoline in your lawn and power equipment, you will more than likely run into this same situation. I have fixed countless engines by running through these steps, most of which were free. This weed trimmer was free, so I figured it was worth a shot to get it running. If you want less of a chance of experiencing failure, start using non-ethanol prod...

Dude what a genius got my morning coffee thanks to you
So there's no way to remove the seal without damaging it right? Like in my case i have a brand new side cover never used and i just put the new seal in in front of the ball bearings and when i went to slide it onto the Crankshaft it gets stuck about half way up the crank or so. Now in order to get it to fit all the way on i gotta sand the inner ball bearings but the seal is in the way and will end up getting sanded as well if i dont remove it first. Guess i have to take the loss and order new seals? 🤔
In your location, is it not required to protect the Romex cables in conduit?

I'm pretty sure the best instruction is on WoodPrix.
Hi can you share you plans for this , what do you recommend on a 12’x16’ shed how would you do the foundation
The only plans I had were in the drawing in the video. I’d consult the engineering span tables for whatever size/type wood you are using for the floor joists.👍 Something like this may help. www.doityourself.com/forum/framing-flooring-sub-flooring/512739-2x6-over-14-span.html

Great video! Im at the same point with my boat, about to install the floor. Your process was detailed and very helpful. Thank you!
Glad you found it helpful! Hope it works out GREAT for you! 👍
Another thing to keep in mind is that there is a bushing on the top instead of a bearing. There is an actual 608 bearing on the bottom. They have been made that way for over 30 years. I took apart 90’s Shop Vacs, and they too, have a bushing on the top. Eventually, you will hear a whine noise. When that happens, all that needs done is to lubricate the top. The new Shop Vacs (post 2020) have a completely different motor design. They have the square shaped motor. I believe that they actually have two sealed ball bearings, and that actually is a good thing!
Good info! Thanks for sharing that!
is there a reason why this would install but then be hard to pull out and push in?
Typically the initial push in and pull out may be stiff, but if it still is after the first pull/push, the track probably is too close together or too far apart. Measure the distance between the front of each slide one the cabinet and the back on each slide on the cabinet and make sure that distance is the same distance apart. It could be defective slides too.
Most definitely needed an oil change. That was the blackest oil i ever seen 😅
Thanks for the comment!😆
I love shed build videos and you did a lot of good stuff here, but you put your walls up on the outside of this structure that has no footings bearing the load to the ground. It also has corners that are only held together by screws. You at the very least need mechanical fasteners, but what would be better, is have your deck blocks in the corners of your structure to bear the weight down to the ground instead of where you have them. This seems like it has potential to begin crowning in the middle over time as the weight of the walls push down on the outside.
Look up the engineering spans for 2x6s. If they were at the corners, it would be too far apart without adding another support from what my research has shown.👍
@@rutterrealtygc That's a problem that should have been solved in a different way than what he did. He should've switched to 2x8s or 2x10s and had them at the corners and the edges instead of making it worse by just moving the 2x6s in and cantilevering the entire weight of the walls. The weight of those walls is only going to bow the middle of that floor over time.
my problem is generic holder keeps lid from closing enough unless push hard/slam lid
It’s probably not installed correctly then. It’s tricky to get it in there just right.
Will it work on 2018
I’m not sure. It’s definitely outside of the “comparable” years. It is probably a similar process though.
U hv low iq u not gonna buy a new tv or take your tv off the wall

You’re welcome!👍😊
hey how much money did you spend on that project ?
$2990
Didn't show the first step of how to unlock the drawer slide. Useless video for beginners
Thanks for sharing that! Press the two tabs on the sides (one up and the other down) and it will release the slides!
Great video!! I do pressure washing and soft washing and use 12v pumps. I will say that it’s Very beneficial to use non collapsible hose on the suction side of your pump.
Good tip, thanks for sharing! 👍

What to do when u press the rubber for the gasoline to full but it doesn't?
Maybe bad gas lines or reversed lines on the carb?
Thank you!!! God Bless you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You're welcome! Glad it helped!👍😊
You didnt turn the a/c circuit breaker off first ?
I did.
Hi, I would like to make the foundation as you did, seems to be very simple. But put all that load just on 2 main beams don’t allot to bend the structure down?
Ours is doing great, but feel free to add more supports!👍
Just opened my tv after on off cycle, had some veryticle lines too previous weeks, VAPING MOISTURE EVERYWHERE INSIDE THE TV
😮 No vaping by the tv! 😆
Thanks for the video very helpful I've resolved the issue in my vacuum it was the same problem Lake explained in the video thank you again.
Glad to hear it helped! 👍 You’re welcome!
did you find your car ran any better after the new transmission fluid?
No, it ran the exact same.👍
Great video, very motivating.thanks
You are very welcome! Hope it helps! 👍
@rutterrealtygc I've been thinking about building a shed for my mom.her garage is beginning to congested.🤣🤣🤣.I hope you continue to make great content.thanks once again.
Never use sand paper in or around an open engine cover, there is a risk of getting sand in the engine oil. Only use a scotch brite pad.
Good tip. I’ve never had that happen before. 👍
I forgot to empty the gas tank before putting it away. What can I do to ge the generator running again? What do I do with the old gas from the tank? Can I still add gas stabilizer to the tank and reuse the gas? Thanks.
How old is the gas?
@@rutterrealtygc 3-4 years old
I just did a drain and fill and I put 4 quarts plus a bottle of Seafoam trans tune and Dipstick still doesn't even show a level
You should check the manufactures recommendations for how much fluid you need on a drain and fill. You can also measure the amount of fluid that came out of your car assuming that you could read a level on the stick before you drained it.
my fans never kick in, or maybe I don't hear them?
Is it cold where you are? It just needs to be up to “ or Al operating temperature on your temp gauge on the dash.
@@rutterrealtygc not really, it is 65 right now in California, but even during Summer (over 100-110) never hear or see fans kick in
FYI the black 18in Long Neck funnel from Harbor Freight fits tightly OVER the dipstick tube and fills quickly. The 2009 manual notes filling via dipstick tube.
Good to know! Thanks for the tip!👍
Nice work. Thanks man!
Glad it was helpful!😊
I find that as the switches get a few years old, they require more and more pulling force. Finally, one day, they require so much force "to switch," they break when you yank on the chain. Finally, when one switch started getting difficult, I sprayed it with WD-40 "Dry Formula" Amazon item number B00AF0ODGM . I used the narrow tube that comes with the can, stuck the tube into the hole where the chain comes out, just a little goes a long way, and immediately the chain started pulling VERY easily, which is apparently much appreciated by the switch. Without needing to apply so much force to pull the chain, the switch isn't so quick to break. Other parts of the switch may wear out after a few thousand switchings, but the lube keeps the switch from breaking after a few hundred switchings.
hey question for smt not covered in this video - how do I make sure i don't drill through the cabinet with the pilot hole? My cabinet side happens to be the side of the island so it'll be visible if i drill too deep lol. First timer here! thank you!
Good question! They make drill bit stop sets such as this: www.harborfreight.com/drill-stop-set-7-piece-70457.html
Yours is Highly professional but I have also built the same size 🤣🥰 and material was about $1100 in total still standing firm, no leaking anywhere after 5 years and amazingly straight flooring eventhough I never bothered to check if the ground is leveled . It is solving the purpose though if not close to yours.
That's awesome! It's great to hear yours is still standing strong and you did it for less! 👍

You are welcome! Glad you found it helpful! 👍
I loved the video! One question; why did you put a hasp on the doors to lock them, but installed the hinges on the outside where they can be unscrewed?
Good catch. You’re correct, I need to redo my hinges. ;)
Thank you for making this video! This video helped me fix the problem. 😊
Awesome! Glad it helped! 👍😊

I have Honda step wagon 2012 one side would not light up , so found out the switch was broken I changed it still no lights, changed the bulbs around change the switch around still the same problem, have any solutions?
Not sure what a step wagon is, but I’d get the multimeter out and see if you have any voltage making it back to your lights. If you do, the ground or corroded/rusted connections that go into the switch could be the culprit.
If I don't have one of the crimp things can I use just black tape
If you’re asking if you can twist them together and put black tape over it, I would not personally do that. Feel free to consult a licensed and insured contractor in your area for advice concerning your particular project!👍😁
