    Thank you! My boss threw our office one away, so I dug it out of the trash, deep cleaned it, pressed that little connector down and now I have a free Keurig machine!
    Edit: Yes, he did give me permission to keep it. They bought a new one.

    It worked on my 5th or 6th try. I only tried so many times because of all of the positive comments. I do not know if it was a coincidence but I decided to use a timer as I read another comment on here and that is when it worked. I agree that Keurig should pay you as I'm pretty sure you have outperformed their own customer support and saved them many customers.

      Kuerig customer service is not very helpful. Seems like they are there to sell more Kuerigs. They couldn't help me fix mine so they offered me a 30% off towards the purchase of a new one on their site. Ridiculous!

    Thank you for posting your video! I had a blank screen for about 6 month. I prayed for the Lord to help me and he led me to your video. The connector on my Keurig was almost completely out of the socket.... now it's fixed and working great! I praise the Lord Jesus and Thank You!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! My connector did not look or feel loose in any way. It didn't appear to move at all but this still worked perfect. You are helping the planet by keeping poorly designed products out of the landfill.

    We broke off a couple of tabs too, but it started working again. You’re a genius.
    In our case it wasn’t a scrambled screen. The power icon showed but the screen was unresponsive to touch. Reseating the connector did the trick. Thank you for posting these.

    I called Keurig to troubleshoot & they said there was no hope & offered 20% off a new one. I was annoyed because it was just barely over a year old & out of warranty. This fixed it!! Thank you!! Fixed September 2019 (2.0 model)

    To keep from breaking the tabs start with the front center one. You start to see it open. Lift and pry outwards the bottom part of the tab with a butterknife on each one working backwards. Worked like a charm! Thank you Scott the fixit guy!!!

    Perfect, thanks for your repair explanation. I took mine apart and sure enough, the connector was completely unplugged. Plugged it back in and it's been working perfectly ever since. Thanks!!

    So glad I found this. I got a keurig for Christmas and have only used it about 30 times. The screen started to go fuzzy and lines appeared. It was perfect this morning and boom, this evening I was in tears. I will be trying this tomorrow.

    Worked like a charm. I thought my Keurig was toast for sure. The white connector seemed tight so I pulled it loose with a small flathead screwdriver and reseated it. I also broke two tabs getting the housing loose. It still snapped back together with no problem. Thanks for the video!

    Thank you SO MUCH! My issue was that when I plugged it up it would display the power button but the screen would not respond when I touched the button. I watched your video this morning but since my problem differed I decided to call the Keurig (non)help line instead. All the rep had me do was unplug it and plug it somewhere else before informing me that we had done everything related to my problem. She then informed me that it was out of warranty and politely tried selling me another one which I politely declined and with nothing to lose decided to try your fix. Even though the connection didn't seem to be unseated it worked so I thank you again.

    OMG! After calling Keurig my coffee machine is no longer under warranty and there was nothing they could do. Me and my husband decided to try this. These coffee machines cost to much money to replace. My screen was just blue but nothing else showed up. We did actually like he said do and my screen is back working again. Me and my husband are not good at fixing things so I'm so excited that we did this. Thank you so much!

    Worked for me! Like a few others stated, two of our tabs broke off. Those tabs and separating the section were a tad more difficult to handle than I expected... probably because I was aiming for no broken tabs. Also, like others, our white plastic connector wasn’t loose, but I pushed it down anyway, and it worked! It’s nice having a clear, right side up, left-to-right, non-mirror image display back! Thanks for this!

    Woke up to my screen frozen...I couldn't accept not having coffee in the morning. I must have newer model, connection wasn't same and nothing appeared loose so I just played around touching everything in there and now it works great! My kids are thoroughly impressed their mom just fixed the coffee machine. Awesome of you to post this! Yay! Also, I somehow managed to NOT break any tabs, lol.

    Best video that helped me fix my keurig. Screen was just showing the power button (not presseable), not doing anyting. Did your fix and got my coffee. Worst day to best day ever!!!

    Well, I found you moments before tossing the third Keurig out the window. I opened it as you explained. Found the plug to be seated so I popped the plug out and reinserted to help with making better contact and Voila! It all works like new. No more white screen, no more half slow brews, no more slamming my hand down on top to squeeze a mug out of it. Thank you. Now to see if I have that other Keurig in the basement. 🧐

    Well thank you for this video. I did not take mine apart, but I did carefully! reach underneath the screen and pushed and also under the button and pushed hard. Plugged it back in and it worked!!! THANK YOU!

    Thank you Scott. I was online searching for the best price to replace my Keurig. I am so grateful for you instructions. It works great! My only caution is to stress when working with the tabs..... press the center of the Tabs in to release. DO NOT pry the tab up. Press the center of the tab to release. I broke 2 by trying to pry the tab up. I also used a flat tweezer to press. Thanks again for your post!

    I honestly didn't think this would do anything being that the connection looked pretty solid after I opened everything up, but my Keurig is up and running! Thanks so much for this video!     Yes! This actually worked for me. I had called the company when the screen stopped working and they told me nothing could be done and to buy a new machine. Saw this video after the windex trick didn’t work. I also broke a few tabs, but thought, who cares if I have to buy a new one anyways.... BUT IT WORKED! Hopefully I can keep the thing around for a little while longer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!

    Thank you Thank you Thank you. My display went totally white. I unplugged it and let it sit for awhile multiple times and to no avail. After seeing your video and completing all of the steps the display came back. I was about to toss it and go out and get another one. You saved me over $100 today. Thank you so much.

    Just did this to mine and it totally worked. HOWEVER.......go real easy on those plastic tabs that hold the casing together! They snap off real easy. I didn’t learn my lesson until I snapped 2 of the 5.

    36 hours later and still working. I haven't had work for more than 1 use in the

    Thank you so much it actually worked. I've been trying to figure this out but you are a genius. But because I don't have the same brain ability as you how was in thinking how to fix the situation. My dad is exactly like you but I never dared to ask him. But I like to Google and find out what other ways to fix problems with electronic and stuff. And you just saved my Keurig.     Big thank you!! I think mine is having the same issue! My screen goes in and out and I can somewhat navigate the ghosted images of the buttons. Lo and behold, without doing anything to it, the screen is back today all on its own, so I know what to do to fix it and make sure the connector is firmly secured!

    This worked great!!!!!!! Took me less that 10 minutes! I read many comments first and saw that people were breaking the tabs. I used a thin screwdriver and very easy moved the tabs out. Took needle nose pliers (there is a spot up front they fit in) and pulled with very little pressure then wiggled the tabs again with a screwdriver and it came apart very easy. So no tabs were broke. I was thinking of a new Keurig but now I don't need one!!!! I bet Keurig hates your post!

    Hey Scott thank you very much for your DIY videos and surely my 6 years old Keurig 2.0-400 back to life! I was having a hard time to figure out the screen when it goes bad and brewing 2X because I cannot get it set to 10 0z. I went to search other troubleshooting guide on-line, but they recommend replacing the whole panel which is hard to get anywhere. This model was discontinued and most likely you end up buying a new one. But hey you saved me almost $100 bucks with this hack! Maraming Salamat.

    They've changed their design in the Keurig 2.0 which didn't help the issue but did change the fix action. The connection pointed out was not there, but found two other connectors towards the back of the cover that was held on by the 2 screws. I pushed on them and the screen straightened out. THANKS because I was preparing to replace before finding your video.

    I called Keurig and they said there is no known fix for this issue. Ha. But they were more than happy to send me another one after I paid $150. Mine is only two years old. Thanks for the video. It's working now and only broke 3 of the 5 tabs

    I just tried this last night. I discovered my Keurig did not have the same wire connector underneath the shell cover but I pressed down on what looked like a flat wire connector instead and it worked! My Keurig is working like new again. Thanks for posting the RUclips video! I was contemplating getting a new coffee maker. I only broke 1 tab!

    This works temporarily, great video. The permanent solution is buying a model WITHOUT the LCD screen. Once I have had enough of fixing this one I will be doing just that.

    Thanks Scott, even though my issue was a tad different then a wonky screen,( my power button showed up but didn't work) it did fix it!. I was doing it from bad memory and ended up removing 2 unnecessary screws on top, which if you make the same mistake, are not the same size as the front screws, so make sure you put the fat short screws back on top and the longer narrower screws on the front. The other people who mentioned that they broke the tabs had me using a tiny screw driver to wedge away to release the 5 tabs. As others said, even though the connection was not visibly lose and didn't really move when I pushed it down, it did the trick. I didn't break anything and I now have a perfectly working kuerig.

    After the windex thing( flashback from My big fat greek wedding lol ) which actually worked, but not for long..it wasn't the windex that fixed it, it was pressing on the screen. I tried this and voila..working great, thanks so much!

    Totally worked! Had a little trouble with those 5 clips (had to break one-no big deal), but now my screen is FIXED! Yay!!! Thank you!

    Thank you! This was really easy and totally fixed my problem. My screen would occasionally go white and it would always go away until yesterday when it seemed like my screen would be white forever. Any method that doesn't involve fixing that loose white connector is just a quick fix and won't actually solve the problem for long.

    I don't get how this fixed it but it did. My connection to the board wasn't even loose. I did pull it off and on again and plugged it in and it was back to normal. Thanks for this quick fix. Took all of 5 min.

    Thank You! You saved me from buying a new one! What a simple fix! I didn't break any tabs, but I did lose 1 of the 2 screws under the refrigerator. Haha. But, thank you thank you thank you! I know keurig won't pay you because they want us to go buy a new one!

    Thank you sir. This worked perfectly. Just a heads up for those reading the comments, the tabs on the side of the control case can be really stiff. I snapped off one of mine, but I think they are pretty redundant.
