I just opened up my 2.0 and it didn't have the little white prong with wires but I press the upper fitting and stuck my finger in there anyway and it fixed the screen issue. Thanks man.

Great video that white plug was the issue but it was on the board side when I pushed the plug down the hole plug fell off the board bad sotter joint on the conector

Thank you for this video. My coffee maker is a 2.0 but it looked a little different inside. I couldn't find the plug with the wires, so I just pushed on the wires I could see & put it back together. It WORKS!! Thanks again.

I'd be very happy to see the inside because I have a circuit board and a ribbon. Please advise further on how to fix it. Dont see where i can push on anything without damaging it. Power light does come on but unable to power up the unit. Thanks

I just got mine working too! The white connector had completely come out of the plug. Pushed it back in and all is well. I guess it came loose when it was sent to by my daughter who had it sitting around for a couple of years. Want to say thanks. Saved us some money.

I think the LCD is just going out. It started turning black last night. I tried this and it didn't work. I am going to look for a replacement or replacement screen for this one. 😞

After all the "Trouble Shooting" suggestions I've been reading all night and them saying if that doesn't work call customer service. I figured someone had to have made a video about this problem. Everything I tried didn't work until after I followed your video. Now it's working again. Thank you

I cut out a small piece of cardboard and folded it 3 times in a Z shape. Basically made a small cardboard spring and wedged it underneath that white/silver screen box thing and closed everything up. The cardboard piece is basicaly shoving that electrical piece to stay tight where it needs to be. Works perfect thanks

Had a bright blank screen today. This fix worked for me.
Thank you! Didn't really care for the Keurig so it was in storage for a while. A friend is interested in it, and making sure it was still working-it wasn't. Tried another 'quick' fix video, which didn't work. Was going to toss it, but fortunately found your video before I did . Husband was able to do this in about 15 minutes (if that) and it's back in business. Great easy-to-understand guide, and much appreciated.

Sweet video - have had my Keurig 2.0 for a while and thought it was a lost cause. Called Keurig support and all they wanted to do is sell me a 'discounted' new Keurig. Found your video, followed it to a tee and all is working wonderfully. I am drinking a cup of Keurig decaf as I write this review. Keep up the great videos.

Hi there, I have the 2.0 and can't seem to remove the lid after I unscrew the 2 philips heads. It's still stuck on somewhere and can't figure out how to disattach the lid. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks 🙏
Worked as in your video Scott. Amazing, simple fix. Thank you. Poor design is not the digital screen display but more the bad connector/plug that comes loose for that component. BTW, machine will still work without screen if you recall where all icons were.

It was pretty tight in there but I would have tried to remove the plug from the board connection then replace it to effectively wipe the connections clean. Great job.
I must have a different revision, since mine didn't have that small white connector. Mine has one long connector at the back of the PCB. I re-seated the displays flat cable on the side and push on the long connector in the back. One of those actions must have done it, as the screen is working correctly again.
Nor mine. I didn't see another harness other then the ribbon harness on the side in that area. You say there is a plug in one located in same area in back?
I tried this. All I'm getting is a the power button in the corner but the LCD is not responding. Wont turn on

I BROKE ONE OF MINE OFF. HAD A DIFFUCULT TIME GETTING THAT TO PRY OPEN. BUT IM INTERESTED TO KNOW IF U WERE ABLE TO STILL USE THE MACHINE WITH BROKEN TABS?
WTF makes this happen in the first place!? Mine hasn't moved THE ENTIRE TIME and it gets this problem?.. Maybe a heat issue?
It’s caused by the opening and closing of the arm to load the coffee packs
I fixed it at first then two black bubbles got in my screen 🤦🏻♀️
My damn display is glitchy and upside down
I wonder WHY pushing the power button will not turn it off. You must unplug then plug back in and then it is off and will heat up only when you touch the power button again. Otherwise it stays on and hot 24/7 using power to keep it hot when your at work and asleep at night. How Green is THAT. LOL
This repair is a short stop gap measure to real problem.i too did all of this only to find the plug was not loose,which tells me the socket has a cold solder joint that will soon cause the same problems with the display.
Some times it lasts, other times it goes back to a bad screen.
Used glass cleaner on screen / keep wiping dry/ it’s a miracle
Freaking Keurigs. I’ve purchased two of their machines in the last year, including a 2.0 and they’re both dead. And I take very good care of them. They’re convenient but who cares if they only last 6 months? I’m going back to my French press
