A lot of these are "restoration" videos. I put it in quotes because many of the channels take a good product then do something to it to make it appear neglected/aged, with many of the metals items being artificially rusted. The plush animals and couch are examples. You can see the plush stuffing is still brand new. Plus, aged grime and stains won't come off that easily. And the muddy shoe is still puffy.
Exactly, with the plushies, if it was actually dirty there would maybe be another layer ..??
And I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering how a Playstation controller looked like it was dug out from a hole in the ground.....
the shoes tho
nah bro that was the extra controller used for hangovers
Bro you have no idea how dirty some people's hygiene is
My soon to be ex wife is that way....installed a dishwasher in the kitchen and she still let's dishes stack to the ceiling in the sink....and won't clean them off first. It's disgusting

In 11:37 the jewellery is dipped to a acid called as Aqua Regia it is a mixture of nitrogen acid and hydrochlroric acid by dipping it in the acid the upper layer of the silver will dissolve and the inner shiny layer will appear .
Like this if you got to learn something new :)
This "paste" is a mixture of cleaning soap and chalk. Yeah, this chalk teachers write with on boards. There are tiny chalk particles, that brush away even the nastiest crusts without hurting or scratching the material beneath.
It helps to clean on a regular basis, not once a year 😀
So once a month once a week
😅ONCE A DAY😅
Agree, it’s better to clean often then to pay a lot of money to deepclean something that already looks awful.

the proper way to clean a controller is to disassemble it. Running toothpicks around the edges & between cracks just pushes grit back into the housing & scratches everything up
exactly lol thats the first thing through my mind when I saw the thumbnail
Yes. I bought a used PS3 with three controllers and planned to sell two of them. They were so dirty. After disassembling and thoroughly cleaning, they looked so much better. I wasn’t comfortable touching them with my bare hands before, they were so nasty. Both controllers sold for close to $15 after cleaning.
That pikachu cleaning was so satisfying.
1:26, Actually, the best way to clean a game controller, it's by disassembly an separate the electric an nonelectri parts. Starting whit the electrich you only need some alcohol, cottons and a soft tooth brush. For the nonelectric part, use some soapy water, a soft brush y for the end clean all with water, that's a deep clean.
I saw ps4 dirty but never saw a controller that dirty
Took my ps4 apart to clean it first time ever , never seen so much dust , sounded like a rocket ship taking off before that lol
Some controllers can disassemble. Mine cant
@@KirrKirr1 every controller can be disassembled because every controller has to be assembled at a point in time. Some parts may need replacement though after disassembly like glue or plastic locks
And me freaking out for one piece of dust or hair. While they have a controller that's dirtier than dirty 🤭
8:28 that laser cleaning bit is a great explanation for how Superman shaves

As someone who has a family’s restaurant run by my mom, my uncle can clean the hood pretty easily. Surprisingly, it doesn’t look that hard, but I bet it is. What do I know? I’m just a kid that helps in the kitchen.
@@TUC520N indeed, I’m sure that vent is that of a taco bell
If he cleans it regularly then it's less work. If you let it accumulate like that then it's tough
@@visassess8607 there's a sweat spot, if there's too little it takes too long because there's not enough and you just fry your brain from being pissed off at not being able to get all the little pieces everywhere, it's like raking leaves I guess. You would rather be able to rake more at a time cause the leaves stick to each other and pull more your way and it's obvious where the next swipe will be.
the only heard part in my opinion is the way your arm gets sore from laying down and raising an arm or two so you can scrape and your neck gets tired to, but when you're just speaking of the sraping, that's easy, pretty satisfying but I'm the weirdo that loves work, it's basically mindless and like I said the feeling is a bit satisfying.
I remember how my mom used to clean keyboard keys back in the day. (One of the first home PC's). She removed all the keys (with a homemade tool, because they didn't really exist), put all the keys in a pillowcase she tied shut with a shoelace and in the washing machine it goes! 🤭 It worked, but it always felt really silly to me 🤣

Regularly swab your keys with isopropyl on qtips, make sure to get the sides.
If you *eat* at your desk, you will eventually need to take the keycaps off to get to the debris.

Just take an image of it before disassembly. That's how I always clean my keyboard. You should clean them too. (I do so every 5 or 6 months)
He's probably done it hundreds of times, it's engrained in his memory. Couldn't forget even if he wanted to.
That being said, I'd clean each key one by one, so I don't forget where it came from. XD

Maybe it's waterproof.
Depends on the number of coil passes. Also a basic 2 pass coil will not really be that affected by spraying either way. I appreciate your critical and theoretically correct analysis of the situation , but it really doesn't make much of a difference in most circuimstances. Been in the trade over 10 years.
3:39 Dude just de-shinied that Pikachu oof.
We actually have that exact paste and the smiley sponge!
The sponge is not only great for cleaning surfaces, it works very well on dishes with any tough grime! Pair the sponge with dawn dish soap, and you’ll be a mean cleaning dishwashing machine!
My mom also used that paste on one of her pots that was layered with dirt. It looks so much better now! Definitely would recommend getting the paste and sponge! 😉😊

My family often has to switch from drying our clothes outside to drying our clothes with a drier during the especially cold and rainy months. Back when me and my sister were kids, my dad would regularly clean out the filter on our drier and he would call me and my sister downstairs. You have no idea how fluffy that stuff was in the filter. Seeing as it was only really clothes (and a bit of skin dust) it makes sense why it was so fluffy. Not to mention the fact that it would be warm because of the drier having just dried some clothes. It might seem strange, but me and my sister loved scooping the fluff from that filter.

The stuff I used was called RTX turbo. It's an industrial grade cleaner/degreaser used in auto detailing. It comes in a 5 gallon (roughly 20-25 liter) jug and is a dark red/ purple in color.
It is a harsh chemical and I would recommend wearing gloves if you're using more than a 50/50 mix
"Yes"
The people in these videos are either using very harsh chemicals or machines that are very expensive and is avaliable commerically but I'm sure you wouldn't want to pay those prices.
You call it deep clean, I call it surface removal
We are not the same.
Skin removal and replacement
Ah yes a payday 2 reference
Nice video! Keep up the good work! 😊
My heart jumped out my soul with the instant soap cleaning thing. I thought it was a snake😭
Omg same 😂 I was thinking there might be snakes in my drains, brings back irrational childhood fears lol, my nanny told me that there can be alligators in the sewer and I freaked out thinking that they would crawl up the pipes and bite my butt 😂
No eye protection? That’s no expert.
2:50, I sneezed just watching that.
Best video ever, I love Detailing things. Thank you
3:17 ah so that’s how gamefreak got the design idea for Morpeko: a pikachu that is only deep cleaned in the centre
I was about to fall asleep and then the narrator went "hey, stop being lazy" I immediately woke up and bought a water pressure machine and cleaned my roof 😄
Wow, That's pretty handy and cool at the same time for these inventions.
1:50 If you’re going to do a full “professional” cleaning on a PS4 controller, you take it apart and clean most of the components on and in it. The shell, the buttons, and joysticks can soak in dish soap water and scrubbed down. Then rub them down with a cloth and some rubbing alcohol for a clean sanitized finish. The electrical parts inside the controller can be dusted off with a paint brush and canned air. This is how I clean my four PS4 controllers and they all work perfectly and look brand new.
What this guy is doing in the video is a basic wipe down of the outside. I can’t imagine what the inside looks like (I bet it looks disgusting).
🤓🤓
Why does it bother u when it's not ur problem?
@@markwake3943 I’m merely trying to help teach others how to properly maintain their PS4 controller so it will last longer, preventing them from having to pay a crap-load of money to buy a new one. The guy in the video is doing nothing but clean the outside to make it look pretty.
I love the part where the audio got cut
1:20 bro its xavier
"professionals". There's no such thing as a professional PS4 controller cleaner, but as a small tech repair hobbyist, taking it apart would have been much easier to clean the plastics.
But there are people who clean tech items of money but not people who clean ps4s alone.
@@annabeththedog9924 Pros take it apart. Amateurs are afraid of hurting the tech inside. Pros know how to do the best job that they're supposed to be a professional doing. That's not a professional. That's some dude who got too many Cheetos in his controller and was afraid to take it apart to give it a proper baptism.
