Is the flow adjustable on the biomaster 250?

The biomaster is a really well made filter but it's not without its bad points 1st, the pump head heights only 1.3meaters which is the lowest IV seen on a canister that combined with the low flow due to the prefilter pipe being to thin and not enough holes around it means it cloggs in no time at all it also gets a lot of air stuck in it and its can become noisy when blowing air bubbles out from time to time it is a great idea as for the build in heaters there cheaply made and under powered for the recommended maximin size of tank for the filters having a heater inside a canister is a bad idea it may make tank look nicer but u can't tell if it cracks it is thin glass personally I'd get the one without a heater the price is a little dear I get ur geting a really solid build filter with lots of trays and a prefilter which is great and I do love the carrying Handel but I can't honestly say it's perfection if oase put a stronger pump in it one with a 1.5/1.7meater head height and sold it with the course prefilter spoungs instead of the blue ones and made the prefilter tube thicker with three to four times as much holes in it then I do beleave you wouidnt get trapped air and the flow rate wouid be about good but the fact it's close to 200pound for the 250 and head heights only 1.3 nhas trapped air issues its not worth the money I saw a flow rate test with a biomaster and it pumped 40% of its max output that was the 350model most canisters will pump 50/60% of there max flow due to having media in the and them having to pump the water up high to a tank IV tested 3 canisters flow my self a fluval 207 that was bang on 50% a eheim classic 2213 that was the best flow I got it to pump 360 LPH and it wida been more if it wasn't connected to an eheim reflex uvc unit that slows flow the eheim was really good as I got 360of the 440 even thought a uvc and finally I tested a sunsun hw702a it's max rate is 1000lph and I got 510 through the same uvc that the eheim used to be in. So the winner of my test in order, eheim, sunsun fluval if I had an oase it'd be last at 40% and eheim 65%

Nice video-Considering replacing my 3 Eheim Ecco Pros. It seemed you had a bit of time removing intake/outtake valves and prefilter. Was it just me, or is it indeed difficult to remove?

Can you guys get one of the new Fluval Beta tanks and review it??

Looking at a possible replacement for a fluval 405. How well do these prime? How quiet are these?

We've never had an issue priming them. There's really no noticeable sound coming out of ours either! While we haven't run them for years and years like we have with the Fluvals, so far they make an excellent alternative.

You're comparing two different capacities, of course the size is different. I wanted more technical details about how they compare at the filtration level.

We mainly consider reliability and ease of use when judging a filter long term, so we tend to focus on those aspects. What kind of technical details are you looking for?

@@watercolorsaquariumgallery noise levels, if it leaks, is everything working as it should after months of use- would be helpful :D
