I went from hating Kias and Hyundais to now owning an EV6 GT. It's not perfect but it just a very compelling and interesting car. As for the HVAC/radio; yes it can be confusing but, keeping it on radio makes life a lot easier. The rest is muscle memory. The car also has a lot of thoughtful features, such as the placement of the rear passenger air vent.
Traded my thirsty Cayenne for an EV6 GT. Not regretting it even though there are some drawbacks. Head lights for instance are inferior to the Porsche. But overall this is a way more exciting car. Love it!
6:05 this is such a dumb thing to complain about. Yes, on the one hand, I agree the car should have it. But as a customer, if you can afford to spend $60k+ on a car, you can afford to spend $80 for a wireless A.A/Carplay adapter.
It is 2024 and no wireless CarPlay? Also, why even provide a wireless charger if there is no wireless CarPlay or Android Auto since it will not work if your phone is plugged in.
Needs a polish but otherwise it's a good-looking car. The EV6 is one of the best EVs on the market, along with the Hyundai Ioniqs. Kia has already announced a facelift for the EV6 and it's not great.

Simple fix for the radio/hvac issue: use the infotainment screen to control radio and set then panel to control HVAC…or vice versa
If I ever had to drive an EV, this would probably be it.

There are rear air vents, they're just on the sides instead. I have one and I like being the only GT aroind here vs the hundreds of Tesla.

As far as i know, altitude doesn't have any effect on range/power of EVs.
Coming from a midwesterner, I associate altitude with getting there - so driving up or down a mountain. Static, altitude does not affect range.
