In late December last year right before New Year’s, I began having issues with my hands. My NEW primary care doctor I’ve been seeing since August ran some blood work, and signs of rheumatoid arthritis were present. I was referred to a rheumatologist, who ordered two MRIs, both confirmed it.
It’s been painful not being able play guitar. I’ve had ideas for songs and videos. But whenever I’ve picked up a guitar, the pain is unbearable. That said, I felt I owed it to my viewers and myself to try and keep going. Tom Petty inspired me to play through the pain.
With the anniversary of the Kinks’ Klassic “You Really Got Me” turning the big 60 in August, I figured why not cover this one. I called on the help of my musical brothers ‪@sampopkin‬ , ‪@davidmontis7259‬ and ‪@mendips09‬ for this one, and they delivered harder than I could’ve imagined.

I don’t know how long my hiatus will be, but I do know I will be starting Humira injections in late July, which will have me isolated socially until Halloween. I hope to start making videos before too long.
Now, back to hibernation. Yay.
