You could make this so much lighter by using a smaller battery. They make one for the gpx that’s tiny and half the size of the stock one. Weighs hardly nothing. Bet you could get it to 45g or so with it still feeling balanced and sturdy.
You're completely right. Some buyers have made that work with a wireless charging and lipo kit for the G305. You can check that out in my discord if you're interested.
This is insane! I have a question though - how hard would it be to design a left handed version? I’m 100% in the market for a new mouse but the GPX has the button layout for right hand only :(
@@MotherBEARmakes +1 for a lefty friendly model. I know it'll demand extending the side button wires but it'd be so amazing to FINALLY have a left handed mouse of some kind available.
Super impressive very well done, can we see and ultralight g703 shell, bigger hands make the gpro just feel too eggish so the grooving of the 703 is perfect for us huge hands hons fellas lol.
I have a question. I like logitech products, but I don't like the fact that they only have 2.4 and not bluetooth. Could you do a mod with a g603, that is rechargeable and in the shape of a g pro x? That would be really cool.
Anything nylon would be most durable, I have a MJF nylon printed which is holding up great. PLA FDM works great too, stiffer than nylon but slightly heavier.
FDM printed with PLA. Settings are very specific to your machine. Did you purchase the model? If you need help with it, please join the discord. There's an invite link on the cults3d site.
That's a nice build! - Do you have any suggestions regarding getting a 3D print to transform a Qpad 5K mouse to a Wireless version? Like getting the lower part 3D printet - So you can still use the top part of the mouse. Because that would be the most insane right hand wireless mouse ever!
I don't think it will be as durable since resin can be pretty brittle. If you use a durable resin which has some flexibility then you should be fine I think.
yo it looks amazing man, keep up :D would you try making something like the zowie ec3-c? that mouse is (like the GPX) too much money and plastic for the features..
@@MotherBEARmakes I was using a different model that was modeled after the xm1r and it turns out the imperfections were because I had some belt slack on the x axis, not bc of the plastic. sorry about that
I remembered you told me that you 3D print stuff, but this is advanced! Well done.
Thanks! :)
been waiting for this video. excited for build video
Having the sensor further forward would be epic!!!
I wish i could see the design process thanks for the video!

I love it! Magnificent job moe!
Thanks Anno!

That might be possible but would take a big redesign and a lot of time.

Hello. What did you use to coat the body? It turned out very smoothly.
Is there a version of this model that can have the battery replaced like the normal g305?
Dude this is crazy! This video should get way more views, great work.
Thank you, I'm happy it's getting as much as it is already. :)
Currently thinking of making something similar with carbon fibre but just the topshell
Do you have the link where l can download the sol for the battery holder?
this is amazing good job!
Thanks!
waiting for full vid
It's out! ruclips.net/video/FJtwnnBAxuk/видео.html
Well done dude. Love it!
Thanks!

I think g pro is light enough, can do some wall support ! :)
In the future are you gonna sell the fully printed version?
wow~~~ ... noway noway! Dude that so amzing! Love it
Thanks a lot!
I'm planning to make this one, but a question. Is it okay if i paint the print? or will it make a drastic change in the feel and weight?
So NICEEE!!!
SLM resin / SLS Nylon / FDM ABS..what print technology recommend?
tHX
Anything nylon would be most durable, I have a MJF nylon printed which is holding up great. PLA FDM works great too, stiffer than nylon but slightly heavier.
Have you ever considered selling these as a kit? I would pay 50 for this and I think others would too
I am thinking about it, which parts should be included then in your opinion for €50,-?
Great, great, great job bro! Excellent video!
Thanks a lot!
What 3d printer you're using? What settings do you use? And what filament? Thanks!
It's a custom CoreXY machine, my own design. Printer at 0.08mm layers with eSun and REAL filament.
@@MotherBEARmakes thanks!
Hey man, did you use PLA or FDM? Also what settings dud you use?
FDM printed with PLA. Settings are very specific to your machine. Did you purchase the model? If you need help with it, please join the discord. There's an invite link on the cults3d site.

Its a year ago and I think if you could maybe change the mouse to be a mod from the Orochi V2, it would be nice and better
I'm looking for a local used Orochi v2. If I find one for a good price I might try it, thanks.
This look great dude - just wondering how you got the prints soo smooth and shiny?
You can make it with a chemical process
Hey, could you please share the g305 pcb holder/plate thing's files? It would be amazing!
You could buy the files and cut out what you need.
do you think i’ll be able to print this on a resin printer?
I don't think it will be as durable since resin can be pretty brittle. If you use a durable resin which has some flexibility then you should be fine I think.

I could look into it for a future project.
Which non toxic plastic do you reccomend, because i live in a flat (apartment) so i dont have much space
PLA should be fine, PETG is also a good option.
@@MotherBEARmakes Thanks for the reccomendations!
Would really appreciate if someone could tell me what material this mouse is using. Cool vid.
It occurs to me that they have been printed in PLA.
What plastic do you use? i am using pla but it seems to not be as smooth
Also PLA. I've also had good results with PLA+, PETG and ABS. Did you buy the model, can you share photo's in the discord server?
@@MotherBEARmakes I was using a different model that was modeled after the xm1r and it turns out the imperfections were because I had some belt slack on the x axis, not bc of the plastic. sorry about that
@@acidiconionas6207 No worries, glad you got it sorted.
Wow this is amazing
can i buy modded mouse from u?
Is it same size as a g pro x superlight?
Yes.
Guy’s I have a question,can I upgrade my g102 with this shape(or this just for 305)?
Not possible.
Can I buy this off you?
How much would it weight if it is made out of resin
Should be the same or slightly lighter since PLA has a density of 1,25gr/cm3 and I found 3d printer resin is about 1,20gr/cm3.
Is it lawful for me, to sell modded mice made with your design?
No.
Great video!
Thank you!
I got two G305 but no 3D Printer :D sadlife i would say.
I see an opportunity to invest in a 3D printer!
link isnt working for me
All links work for me at the moment.
Where should I buy the parts at?
There's a parts list in the cults3d link.
@@MotherBEARmakes already built, it looks great just gotta sand some things
What did you use to make them smooth and shiny?
You can watch my assembly video for more details. :)
@@MotherBEARmakes Thanks! Great work btw!
Goated.
Is this 1:1 G pro? Or smaller?
Same size.
@@MotherBEARmakes Okay
What mouse wheel do you use?
I designed and printed one for this mod.
you're awesome
Ahw, thanks
Great work! Ty
the fact that I just found this really bothers me honestly I thing you should have gotten more attention off of this
Thanks but I'm fine with the amount of attention!
Im from reddit
Uh oh redditor😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
"i didn't want to pay for the superlight" spends months designing an alternative that is like 70% as good
Learned a bunch in the process and to me it's better than a Superlight.
