Printing a design with the minimal amount of supports | PETG | Duet Wifi
Просмотров 4,6 тыс.4 года назад
Haven't tested a tall part on my new printer design yet. At 202mm tall this part almost fills the max Z height of 210mm of this printer. Printed with Devil Design bright orange PETG. Total print time was 5 hours and 48 minutes with 103 grams of PETG.
CoreXY 1500mm/s speed tests | fast Hypercube derivative | Duet Wifi
Просмотров 51 тыс.4 года назад
First straight moves are at 1500mm/s, drawing circles with G2/G3 commands at 1000mm/s with 22500mm/s2 acceleration and 80mm/s instantaneous speed on a Duet Wifi. Speeds are not sustainable during printing but are used for travel moves. The Duet is limited at drawing circles over 1000mm/s since it's computational heavy. Straight lines currently top out at 1583mm/s because of step frequency limit...

Fast 3D printer | Hypercube 300 | 1000mm/s

Running a Duet wifi with 12500mm/s2 acceleration and 30mm/s jerk. I know this is kind of silly but I use these speeds for travel moves to have minimal oozing and stringing while also reducing print times. Printing speeds with a E3d V6 won't go over 250mm/s on 0.12mm layers or 150mm/s on 0.2mm layers with PLA.

How many hours took you to make it? I think at least 8 hours (probably much longer) so if we take $7.25 minimum wage for US, the labor cost for this mouse was $58 at least
Is there a version of this model that can have the battery replaced like the normal g305?
maybe just replace the encoder if you need to sand down the pcb?
Got CAD files?
late, but great topic, thanks 👍
Currently thinking of making something similar with carbon fibre but just the topshell
Hello. What did you use to coat the body? It turned out very smoothly.
Fantastic speeds. And this was 4 yrs ago! I found your mod on thingiverse and I'm considering your gantry design for a new printer. How well have those printed bearings held up? Are you still using this printer? Any insights on improvements you'd make after using this design for years? Thanks for posting your work!
Do you have the link where l can download the sol for the battery holder?
For the USB-C, does it have to be 2.0 or it can be 3.1?
What is the best material to print the mouse? I was thinking about using resin
I don't have any experience with resin, but I'd recommend using an engineering resin that doesn't shatter easily. Otherwise, I've had success with PLA, PETG and ABS.
@@MotherBEARmakes Which of these materials was the firmest on the sides of the mouse?
Hello. I see that you have positioned the X axis guides in the horizontal plane. Did this make it possible to increase the rigidity of the portal? In the original hypercube design, I am confused by the location of the portal guides in the vertical plane. Are the Y-axis carriages rigid enough? I need a 3D printer to print parts for equipment with great precision. Will printed Y-axis carriages be sufficient or should I design metal ones? And are aluminum tubes rigid enough to print without distortion?
Motherbear can you make logitech 305 form with RAZER DEATHADDER V3 PRO hardware? Razer as long it have 4k wireless cpu. And if I want to buy from you how much gona cost?
5:42 where you got these wires?
I think it was solid copper wire from an ethernet cable.
This look great dude - just wondering how you got the prints soo smooth and shiny?
You can make it with a chemical process
Nice one man.
how do you fix scroll wheel issue i find that when i have a 3d printed mouse baseplate and wheel they rub too much a create a tight feeling with a lot of friction
is it compatible with the logitech g203?
No, it's not.
In your opinion what’s the most important thing to keep in mind for a fast corexy
Weight and balance of dynamic forces.
What battery do you use? Great vid!
ADAU1701 DSP It's a good thing, for big projects it's a bit weak, but for two channels of portable audio it's great
actually the ADAU1701 just controls what goes to the amplifier(s) so you can even use a 400W amp or more
Please write the printer model you used for printing.
Do you have a version withouth the rechargeable part (usb c adapter), just to swap battery when needed?
Yes, it's included. Some users on the discord have also worked on a wireless charging mod.
@@MotherBEARmakes that’s crazy cool!
I'm using a usb c male connector since my battery is different. How do I know which pad is positive and negative?
You should measure it with a multimeter.
So NICEEE!!! SLM resin / SLS Nylon / FDM ABS..what print technology recommend? tHX
Anything nylon would be most durable, I have a MJF nylon printed which is holding up great. PLA FDM works great too, stiffer than nylon but slightly heavier.
How sturdy it is? Will it flex if I grip too hard?
It's very sturdy with normal use.
can i buy modded mouse from u?
In the future are you gonna sell the fully printed version?
im having sensor issues with this mod anyone know how to fix this
You solve it?
@@matheogalarza1406 ya just shaved it a little thw place where you put the board and the hole the sensor sees threw
Would really appreciate if someone could tell me what material this mouse is using. Cool vid.
It occurs to me that they have been printed in PLA.
whered you get the usb c part
que cojones xD
Did u just wire power and ground from micro usb to usb c
I wish i could see the design process thanks for the video!
big shit make it move at that speed if it ain't extruding
Is it same size as a g pro x superlight?
Yes.
What plastic do you use? i am using pla but it seems to not be as smooth
Also PLA. I've also had good results with PLA+, PETG and ABS. Did you buy the model, can you share photo's in the discord server?
@@MotherBEARmakes I was using a different model that was modeled after the xm1r and it turns out the imperfections were because I had some belt slack on the x axis, not bc of the plastic. sorry about that
@@acidiconionas6207 No worries, glad you got it sorted.
Жесть😨
G-code please
I think g pro is light enough, can do some wall support ! :)
Its a year ago and I think if you could maybe change the mouse to be a mod from the Orochi V2, it would be nice and better
I'm looking for a local used Orochi v2. If I find one for a good price I might try it, thanks.
You could make this so much lighter by using a smaller battery. They make one for the gpx that’s tiny and half the size of the stock one. Weighs hardly nothing. Bet you could get it to 45g or so with it still feeling balanced and sturdy.
You're completely right. Some buyers have made that work with a wireless charging and lipo kit for the G305. You can check that out in my discord if you're interested.
do you think i’ll be able to print this on a resin printer?
I don't think it will be as durable since resin can be pretty brittle. If you use a durable resin which has some flexibility then you should be fine I think.
This printer is on crack
Can you direct connect mouse 1 and 2 to the PCB if the connector is off?
Probably yes.
@@MotherBEARmakes You know how?
Great work! Ty
this should be a meme or sth
is it a 3d printer or a machine gun???
wow, aFTer modded the mice looks like shit made out of pvc tube, lol
