Ive learned that if I want to lose weight and stick to a healthy lifestyle I have to also pamper myself. I buy and use my face creams everyday take care of my nails wear makeup. I try to do these simple things to feel better so it encourages me to do better.

I am on day 15 of 75 hard and just downloaded your app! Pumped to be doing this as one of my workouts everyday! Love that you encourage carbs. I was a low carb/keto junkie for years and while I lost weight, I always binged eventually. Eating healthy and incorporating healthy carbs is working wonderfully and I feel so much better. Also, I pack a huge gallon jug with me everywhere…it’s like a workout in itself 😂

Love watching these types of videos - always keeps me feeling inspired! If you have any tips for time management I'd love that - it seems to be my biggest struggle right now. I have a 3mo old baby and a 19mo old toddler and between them and taking care of the house and the meals it feels like I blink and suddenly it's bedtime again! So I think finding some ways to organize my time (where/when possible) would be super helpful for my goals🙂👍

I just started Persona nutrition. I love that they take into consider any medications you are one and your family genetics. It is nice to grab one packed with everything you need, instead of having 5+ vitamins to keep track of. So releaving and less stressful. i love your videos and the motivation. My goal is to be more mindful of everything this year. I really want to lose weight and be healthy for myself and my family, I just really struggle with getting started and finding the time.
Thanks for this. I gained back all of the weight I lost due to back surgery and depression - and the weight is substantial. I'm starting from scratch and trying to focus on little changes at first. I work from home so it's easy to eat leftovers for lunch or eat several times a day out of boredom/loneliness, so I'm doing meal prep for lunch in the little containers, sticking to my designated snacks. and then just eating whatever I prepare for my husband and kids for dinner but in moderation. The biggest thing for me is cutting out the sweets!
I love sticking to the little changes first...they can make a HUGE difference!

Thank you so much! I’m 30lbs heavier than my normal weight. I have suffered so much from Anxiety and depression and just really let myself go. No motivation whatsoever. I’m over that. Now time to take care of Me. It’s also hard because I’m married with 3 boys so putting myself 1st never happens but my kids need a happy healthy mother. This isn’t only for me, but for them too. Would love to see you do a video on healthy spices/spice mixes and different uses for them. I have to watch for any garlic salt and garlic powder and onion salt and onion powder because they wreak havoc on my gut but really want to experiment with ways to use different/unique ways to "spice" up my meals. lol I'm sure you have some ideas!

I do use your app & I have been working out for a little over a year. I take my lunch hour & use the campus gym. It’s a huge perk to have a gym at my job. Plus I get a yearly discounted rate as staff but I used to be so good about drinking water. I’ve really got to work on that! I also need to eat less sugar. I’m on a medication that makes me crave sugar & caffeine so I do drink a lot of green tea. That makes me feel great! I can’t drink green tea on an empty stomach though. It makes me nauseous for some reason, thank you Katie!!

Love you Katie and your inspiring videos!!!! My goal is to finallllllly get my nutrition on point. I can make the healthy things and prep but I stay home with babe and can easily sneak in extras and sometimes not get in as many steps as I want. I was at a good weight during pregnancy and being home the past 5 years has been a challenge. Not an excuse but for sure a challenge and I am SO sad to say it’s been thet long since I’ve felt my best cuz I had kept my weight off previously 😒 but here I am gunna try!
So happy you love them! Finding little ways to add movement with your baby can help get those steps you want in and for sure trying to prep some healthy snacks is great too! I'm excited for you to focus on those changes this year!
A macros video would be amazing!
I don't really believe in tracking macros tbh. Of course important to have them right for your body/goals and but I use my Meal Plan which already has them set up for me. Worrying about them daily can really be stressful.

Yes to carbs!! I finally, yep FINALLY, ended my relationship with Keto/Atkins because I noticed my body hated it. My mood was trash, I was tired, and my mind felt like a squirrel trying to cross the road. When I started adding carbs back into my diet I am feeling a lot better, especially with energy.
Preach, sista! I've been on a restrictive diet for serious digestive issues and the more I told myself I COULDN'T HAVE X-Y-&Z I would fall off my eating habits that made me feel good and eat the things I shouldnt have been eating because I told myself I couldn't have them! Now, I give myself grace if occasionally I want to have a "cheat" meal or something yummy that isn't quite on my diet. In addition to that, I also look for ways to still be friends with my digestive system by giving it the foods it wants, but finding ways to add yummy "cheat" things int my diet that aren't really cheating. That way I feel good about my decisions, my digestive system doesn't get ticked, I don't pendulum swing and make my insides MAD, and can still sustainably and consistently eat foods that are yummy and relatively good for me. :) Win. Win!!!! :) PS: Love your energy and your message. Keep on, lady!
Are you planning to release a planner this year or next year? I loved the 2022 planner and was hoping to purchase the 2023 version.
Sadly not, we decided to discontinue it to allow the team to focus on all of our other product launches.
My 7 things researched organic apple cider vibager a m ,p.m that I don't do but does work ! That with water some lemon juice . 2) intermittent fasting . 3) low carbs watch the white foods no white rice 4) 💦🌊 water 5) if affordable smoothies.
Cheese fruits veggies are the best I enjoy sweet potatoes so good brown rice does taste better I definitely try to drink lots of water daily

What are you’re thought on LMNT? It’s a salt based electrolyte. I was told it was great for u but after you talking about salt I’m wondering if it’s not!
Unless you're:
1.on a keto diet or water fasting
2. sweating a lot
3. have low blood pressure
4. or have some sort of chronic illness that messes with your blood flow
you don't really need electrolyte drinks. Most people get enough salt and other minerals through their regular diet. Electrolyte drinks are specifically meant to help people who have less electrolytes replenish them or increase stagnated blood flow

Omgosh with my last pregnancy salt was soo bad in my diet I had everything pages ect no exercise the last three months or so I had to be induced (which was horrible experience) and than baby had fluid in lungs we both were admitted for 11 days 😢

Mine is exercise. I'm 68 and I don't exercise much. I use to swim at the Y 3 days a week but the winter is here and I decided it would be too cold after swimming and wearing boots, UGH. I have been thinking about going to a gym but I'm not sure about that yet. I have Osteoarthritis in my knees, a bad back and bursitis in my shoulders. It's hard for me to breathe so exercise in the winter outside is not for me in the winter. I do try to do something. I haven't been able to lose weight either, I drink beer and not everyday but having 3 beers when I go out to eat or at home 1or 2. I need help or some suggestions please and Thank You!
Going to the gym in winter with all the coats and boots and slippery driving was a big barrier for me too. So I just started doing stretches in bed when I first wake up. Then I just stay in pyjamas and workout with RUclips videos in my living room. No barriers! No special outfits to change into and out of! No time wasted in traffic! And it’s free! Then just shower, dress and I’m ready for the day. If I take a long walk or bike or swim later in the day, it’s just a bonus. Keep it as simple as possible and remove any barriers so that making the good choice to exercise is as easy as possible.
Have you ever tried the appetite support or crave control combo from Persona? Just trying to figure out if it really helps as it was suggested since I would like to lose more than 10 pounds. I'm always pretty skeptical of vitamins/supplements for weightloss rather than just good old healthy eating, better sleep, and exercise. :)
I haven't.... to be honest I didn't know they had that so would have to look into it, but I agree with you - I don't really think any supplements can help curb cravings long-term because you really have to retrain you brain and learn how to FUEL your body to do that in a meaningful way.

I don’t know if you have any emotional attachments to food, but did you ever experience a sort of loneliness or sadness when you started eating really clean? It definitely takes some adjustment when deciding to follow a meal plan when you really just want the delicious pizza your friends are eating!
Read about parasites in our system. They cause food cravings as well. Maybe they left 😊
As hard as it is to go through withdrawals from eating carbs, there is not one essential carb on the planet. Your liver makes the glucose your body needs and no more or less. You have to do what you feel is best for you but also makes sense. If it doesn’t make sense to you, you won’t stay onboard with your health plan. (Notice I didn’t say weight loss plan)

I don't have one I'd recommend as most of them are filled with nasties and tbh most of us don't really need to supplement them if you're eating well and gettin plenty of complete proteins throughout the day

Absolutely, one piece of bread isn't going to stop you from seeing results. It's making sure your entire nutrition plan is on point that will make the biggest difference.

Softer is fine when you’re a new mom. Baby is the priority, not vanity. You just grew a human! That doesn’t make you feel good about your miraculous body? Baby is only a baby for a very very short time. Cherish every precious moment. You have no reason to feel badly about your beautiful self.
I don't feel badly about my body at all. Wanting to get stronger again and back to my healthiest, most fit self isn't a bad thing, I love the challenge and goal. Especially because, it makes me feel good doing it.
