Definitely not eating enough!! I actually sat down and tracked what I ate/calories on a normal day and found out that for my body/BMR I was UNDER eating by 300-600 calories a day. No wonder my metabolism slowed down so much, it thought we were in starvation mode! Now I've been eating what I need to for about a week and I feel so much better and have more energy.

Being a stay at home mom of 6 with 5 currently in the home that I homeschool, there's way too many distractions and things to do at home so I NEED to go to the gym lol I really do enjoy lifting with the machines but I'm always worried that I'm not doing something right or doing all that I should be to get the right results.

Im so proud of you on your journey, what a great inspiration! Losing weight is definitely not easy at all. One thing I realised after losing 50kg/100lbs in 5 months doing water fasting I realised that new goals don’t deliver new results, a new lifestyle does. This is a process not an outcome.

Happy Valentines day to you and Ryan. I love how supportive he has been in your journey and a great sport when filming vids. I needed this today! I needed all 7 of these.. i did spend tons of $$$ on gym memberships and same thing did not feel comfortable going there. I have lost 9 pounds since I started this journey. I have more to go yet, but nothing will stop me now. Thank you for sharing this with us, so many women need this support right now! Have an amazing day! ❤🌹

I have always struggled with taking fitness advice from influencers who haven’t experienced the same struggles I have, or at least they haven’t shared them so openly. I really appreciate how genuine you are when you are sharing your personal experience. I tear up every time you get emotional when telling your story, because I can relate to these feelings. Truly inspiring Katie. Team LSF is the absolute best community. Such much support. I use the app almost daily but I also have a gym membership mostly for the track. I need more cardio and need my daily steps and it’s too cold and snowy here to walk or run. Other than that, the LSF app is really all you need to stay fit, lose weight and feel so inspired and so much better! I also have her foam roller, bands, tubes, and several water bottles. Her guides are the best too. I’m eating so much healthier and have truly learned so much from her.

❤️💗❤️💗 I don’t think that I smiled at the start of my weight loss journey photo. I didn’t even take one until my son said that it was important for me to do so. Being over 200 pounds I didn’t want a reminder of the way I looked, now I’m so glad I took those stomach photos. I lost 70 pounds, and reversed my Type 2 Diabetes by quitting sugar and eating healthy. I went through an emotional healing period and I started eating unhealthy sugar and I gained some weight back. I’m losing weight again. I love Spin Classes. I just started doing body pump and battle rope classes. What really stuck out is that I’m probably not eating enough. I’m 57 years old, and I work out hard. I can easily skip meals all day and I eat healthy at night.

@@LoveSweatFitness I try to do both of those things but it’s hard to schedule around work, kids, husband, and life in general. It’s almost as if I don’t wake up at 5 am everyday I don’t get anytime for myself. Even the 10 minute challenge is hard to get around to sometimes! It’s definitely a process to schedule out the day. I can manage my food and schedule that, it’s just making that extra time to get a workout in. You should do a video about time management 😂

    1. FACTS! I cancelled my gym membership soon after going premium in the LSF app. My body is my most important piece of equipment.
    2. I never realized how much I was under-eating prior to starting the Hot Body Meal Plan! And you’re right - it’s a lot of food! I always feel satisfied when I’m following this plan.
    3. Foam rolling is my favorite way to recover! The cute marble design makes it even more fun!
    4. That’s what I love about the LSF app - I’m focusing on a different muscle group every day! No one specific group feels overworked throughout the week; it’s a great balance!
    5. Restrictions do NOT work for me. That’s why keto didn’t work for me! Totally not sustainable.
    6. Yay Team LSF! I love these women. I feel so supported and inspired by them each and every day. Community has been the game changer for me.
    7. I still regret not taking photos when I started with SSU in 2020. I was so ashamed of my body at that point, so I didn’t want to look at it. Now I wish I had it!
Great video, Katie! Love ya! Xoxo @lsf_taylor

I’ve lost 48 pounds, still a bit to go. But you’re absolutely right. I had a gym membership and the only time I went was when people from my house hold went. I was thriving, then the pandemic hit. I finally had learned how to workout at home, and now I’m realizing I’m pushing myself just as hard, if not harder. I enjoy it so much more, has I embrace my learning curve of certain exercises. If I’d be in a gym where others might look, I would have only done the ones I felt comfortable doing in public. It’s empowering to see the change and growth.

Just stumbled across your videos and it totally makes sense. I started my fitness journey back in Jan this year and so far I have lost 27lbs and going strong. I haven't cut anything out but increased the good stuff and find I don't want the 'bad' stuff as much. I totally feel different this time on my journey and I feel motivated to get my body healthier and move better! One thing I regret is I didn't take a before picture as I was embarrassed by my body. I feel sad too as that body grew my 2 beautiful babies x

You are truly beautiful inside and out. So proud of all your accomplishments! Your advise on what to eat with hypothyroidism truly changed my body and I was able to not just lose weight...but continue losing. I lose about 1 to 1.5 pounds per week. I have lost 65 pounds since January 2020...and I'm a 59 old with really bad arthritis. I'm no longer pre diabetic with a hemoglobin A1C of 5.8 (was 6.9😳) and the way I eat now avoiding many inflammatory foods has greatly helped! I am lactose intolerant...but girl...cheese is my down fall😆 so I save it for special occasions. Instead of cheese and fruit for a snack I now grab for my turkey chomps, apple nachos, homemade banana ice cream, and bagels and pizza crust made out of yogurt, eggs, and almond or casa flour ! I walk everyday and do exercise with weight about 3 days a week. You inspire! Thank you for all you do!

Thank you for solid motivation and realist tips! lost a little over 50 lbs last year, I did it with a combo of low carb/semi keto, MyFitnessPal and a lotttt of walking. This year I'm gonna try the zone diet, yoga, a lot more muscle building and more meditation and being more mindful of my mental state and how it correlates with my food consumption. I'm gonna shoot for at least 64 oz of water! Also gonna get a skin care routine that works for me and work on growing and thickening my hair ❤️

Starting my weight loss journey again. I currently weigh 181 was 165 in October 2022. Gained weight due to stress of moving. I am tired of the yo yo dieting. Seems like I am always losing and gaining weight and then some! I am ready to make this a lifestyle not a quick fix. Thanks for this video 😊

My health journey isn’t about losing weight , but just being healthy and active. Any tips about how to make meals for one while changing it up constantly would be appreciated!

I started my fitness Journey Jan. 4th and I have lost 9 lbs and I can see it in person and in the mirror and in my clothes but I can't see it in pictures yet! Which really brought me down and discouraged me when I saw that. Maybe it's not as obvious as I thought. I am not going to quit though I have 21 more lbs I want to loose!

I totally understand the struggle. I feel stranded as well on what to do. I have hypo thyroid from Hashis. I had ended up being at my heaviest in '20/21 at 173lb and i'm only 5'2. I felt physically uncomfortable in my body. My new thyroid specialist told me to cut out sugars and go low/ no carbs, so I found myself doing Keto. I ended up getting down to 143/145lb. I felt good but i also fell of the wagon a lot after the first 4/5 months. It also restricted me calories to like 1240? which was hard, especially going from probably around 2000 with my fast food and whatevers easy n quick at the grocery store diet. Probably why I lost a decent amount pretty quickly. But i know that diet was not sustainable, I also had binging issues the longer I was doing keto. I have been off keto and back to my original way of eating since last july, due to life etc. and just found it really hard to get back into that diet. or working out. I have stayed my lower weight until recently, I have gained around 5lb back so far due to having higher calories for a while again and lack of enough movement or exorcise. I really want to get back to some sort of grind that helps me feel and look great and lose fat/ gain muscle. I just don't know where to start, theirs so many different opinions on how you should diet, its confusing and overwhelming. I know that now i do have some what of an unhealthy relationship with foods but, I am hoping this is my year to get back on track and figure out what is healthy and sustainable for myself.

I would say to give my body Time to recover and smile In my before photo. I am determined to fit into some old clothing and I notice slowly but surely my body is changing even though the scale seems to remain around the same weight. I know the scale is just number. What counts is how you feel and how physical your body is changing.

Remember, EAT ENOUGH OR YOU WON’T LOSE ANY AND THE WORK WILL BE FOR NOTHING.

I lost 35 pounds in ten months just by doing Zumba 3 times a week for 55 minutes. But I was obese(like almost 200 pounds). The second year I only lost 3 pounds because I lost motivation. In September I joined the gym but for 3 months I only went there twice a week. Since the middle of December I've been going 3 times a week and next week I'll start working out with a personal trainer twice a week for 8 weeks. I hope to see some significant results even though I won't be on a diet and it's a short period of time 😅 I decided not to change my food habits but just to add work out. We'll see in two months. 😅

I not only didn’t smile in my before picture, but I didn’t even take one or any. I hate that I did that. I did not think that I would lose weight or that I knew how to make my body change. Plus I hated the way I looked so why take a picture right? I didn’t even know where to start. I ended up losing 35 pounds and am at my “goal weight”. But I literally have no before pictures to look at and it makes me really sad.
