Thank you for these exercises! I am Physio as well and it is always good to have alternatives! Movements are better to control like planks and make more fun! Well done, guys!!! Best wishes from Germany, Marc 👍😉😊
I did 10 of each shown in the first 3 mins just to try them out. My back actually hurt less at the end. I think you are on to something good, thank you.
You guys really are the best. I can’t tell you how many times you’re simple at home exercises and stretches have saved my bacon. And I’m only 46. Tree worker for 25 years. Thank you very much. You certainly are making a positive impact
I've always been active throughout my life. My job kept me in shape plus my workouts helped too. When I reached the age of 76 I began to have problems with my neck, shoulders, arms and hands and my back has been a problem since my working days. Now I've developed problems with my feet and ankles. These types of videos have helped a great deal. I don't want to resort to shots or pain medication if at all possible. I would rather try exercise to help control the pain. And of course diet and enough sleep are vital as well.
I have chronic back and hip pain, due to some really bad horse riding accidents when I was a kid. I more than likely have arthritis. This channel has helped me so much. I do practice yoga, but I have made a few modifications, based on Bob and Brad's recommendations here, and it has really made a difference to my pain. This is the next modification I am going to try, as I'm finding plank is hurting my shoulders, and I'm suspicious it is also causing pain in the muscles along my spine. Thanks Bob and Brad!!!
Killing it at 59 Brad! I was sweating just watching you guys doing that. Fantastic tip and I agree that these exercises are way better than boring planks.
The video reaches a point where Brad is really breakin it down big time. Great advice, each person should choose how much to do and how far to go, based on individualized factors.
I can’t thank you guys enough for what you do. And also your energy gets me in such a good mood that my mom stares at me wondering who’s texting me that got me grinning.
Brad was getting it! I love these exercises. I practiced them about 12 mos. after my 2 strokes in 2015. . . I 1st had to regain my mobility. That was the scariest period in my life--being wheelchair-bound. That was scarier than being struck by a truck as a pedestrian, back in 1997. My ankle, leg, kneecap, pelvis, hip, and shoulder blade were all fractured to the degree that metal pins in my right ankle, right leg, metal plate around my right kneecap we're inserted. Actually, my left ankle was also fractured, but it didn't warrant any metal objects. I just underwent physical therapy--for the 2nd time-- a month ago. I didn't maintain my exercise routine (actually ceased) during this 2-YR pandemic, and my lower extremities reverted to weakness. I was back dependent on a walking cane, which I hadn't used since 2016. I'm, once again, functional without my walking cane. I'm grateful the physical therapy center I went to, 2015-2016, helped to restrengthen my muscles this year (MAR-APR). Bob & Brad, you guys were instrumental with maintaining an exercise regimen about 9 months after my strokes, along with other RUclips trainers. I thank you! CELESTE, in the ATL 🌻
I have been watching you for years. You were apart of ‘my team’ that helped me get through my ACL repair. When I first saw this video in my subscription thread, I immediately added it to my Stretch and Asthma exercise playlists. After watching the video, I changed it to my HIIT and 40+ and loving it playlists. Thank you! -From an Ob/Gyn fan.
@Moshin, I’m 60 and regularly do these exercises- the key is start working out at a young age and continue! Don’t stop til the end, lol. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy but definitely incorporate functional exercises!
Haven’t watched in a while. Gonna start these exercises again due to back flare ups. Bob you seem a little tender so I hope your health is alright? All the best guys! 4 million plus subs… outstanding.
I will switch to this exercise again. Your video is a keeper. It reminds me of the old days when I was going to aerobics classes. And that was the best shape of my life. Planks hurt my back. Nice video
That's amazing at 59 Brad! Way to go your obviously in great shape! Definitely impressed! Thank you both for great practical videos to improve your health and condition!
Brad it means so much more that you're demonstrating these, especially as you said you're getting older yet you busted those moves put for a solid two minutes at least. Definitely adding these to my routine
I've unfortunately developed some lower back problems due to years of sedentary living and poor posture, so finding this video to strengthen my core is a true gem. These exercises felt far better on my back than doing planks, and they're a lot more fun too! I think I'll follow Brad's suggestion to put on some upbeat music while I do these exercises. Thank you so much!
ever since you guys showed me the rotator cuff exercise ive been able to get up to 120+ pushups per 10+ min session with no more pain and better posture
@@b3ckyb33 ruclips.net/video/s8dcNFzoRXI/видео.html starts around here, when he starts doing the exercise against the wall, I did this a few times, then moved down to the floor. Every few days I do this and have had no pain while doing pushups.
❤️ these types of exercise really help with that lower back and SI joint pain that I have but because I lost the use of my left wrist the exercise Bob is doing is easier for me. But I also sit on my bed, dangle one leg over the side and paddle with it, moving it is far back as I can tolerate it.
Nice work those are not easy. i have been doing calisthenics and lots stretching this summer and feel like i'm 20 years again i turn 48 and im in the best shape of my life. Watching all those video too remove any pain i had. Thanks keep it up
THANK YOU! THANK YOU !THANK YOU! I hate planks. Thank you also for the excellent video on exercises to avoid with osteoporosis. No more bendovers, spinal twists or triangle for me.

BRAD! you have no idea how happy this video makes me. I have spondylolisthesis as well (all the spondys, + stenosis, + severe scoliosis, and a pars defect to top it off). I would have been too afraid to do these, had I not seen you do them. Was getting quite bored with planks, so thank you. 🙏
Those were the days 10 yrs back, all the rage the pics of people planking, half hanging everywhere! I had a fear 😱 of heights gilt just looking at them 'cause 🎶 Everyday is Saturday night but I can't wait for Sunday morning 🌄🎶, Bob's showing off again!
Thank you for good video we actually did this stuff elementary school as part of our warm up in gym class in eastern Europe in the 80's I guess going back to doing it again to fix some core issues i'm dealing with .
Those are great exercises. Thank you. I was wondering if planks hurt your rotator cuffs or not, guess I got my answer. Lol I am impressed with anyone that does these. I'm 58, i used to run so far and it was easy, these exercises with arms and abs, much harder.
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, THANK YOU (MUCHAS GRACIAS) BOB AND BRAD, YOU GUYS ARE A REAL BLESSING IN MY LIFE, I APPRECIATE YOU...THANKS FOR THE LOVE DUDES! CANADIAN FROM EL SALVADOR!
Great video. Brad I had the same back condition you do. I put it off as long as I could but had to have a 3 level fusion. Three years 3 months in and doing well. Thank you for your videos.
Agree with these core moves. There are many dynamic moves more effective than the plank. I do like a plank to test my muscles in isolation kind of like a wall sit though. 👍
I got my dead leg, lower back pain, and recently, knee pain, fixed because of this channel.. Thanks, Bob and Brad. Much love from Indonesia!!

Omg I'm so sorry for you. You are so deep in this BS why wouldn't you listen actual bodybuilders to learn you to grow muslce
