I am a 69 year old female. I am very arthritic. I walk a lot and was touching my toes after my walk to stretch my muscles. I watched your video saying not to do this. AMAZING! I was finding my lower back hurt so bad a night I could hardly roll over and it was so bad in the morning I would have to get up to relieve the pain. I stopped touching my toes and have had no more issues since. Thank you SO much for your advice.
I lost around 40lbs after going into the hospital in October 2020, I had extremely high blood pressure and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. So I basically cut out grains and sugar, and if I did eat some it was all about portion control. By about the end of February 2021 I lost 40lbs. My weight has basically stabilized since then. I went to put on a coat a couple of weeks ago when the weather turned cold, and all my coats fit me like tents -- I had to go buy a new coat for this winter. Anyhow Bob and Brad are right about what they are saying here. BTW my last 2 diabetes doctor's visits my blood sugar is back in the normal range.
@@andredarin8966 I have been to my diabetes Dr twice now and they tested my A1C and he told me that I'm at the normal range (not even pre-diabetic now). I go back for my 3rd appointment in February.
I moved from a psych/theatre major to a physical therapist/theatre major at university. I also became extremely apathetic during COVID & gained an ungodly amount of weight. I love Bob & Brad!!! They keep me sane & now, in check. ❤️❤️❤️
So I tried this. Today is the last day of the 5th week. I went from 181 Lbs to 170.6 Lbs. YEA! I never really paid attention to the carbs content before. Your video was revealing. I exercised routinely but could not drop weight. I was like what the heck? Why am I not loosing weight? So the reality of carb reduction does work. Also, along with that I exercise moderately. Stretching, a little dumbbell workout, and I average about 4 miles per day walking and a little jogging too. I am 61 year old Male. So hopefully this will encourage someone to do it.

I love you guys. Since lockdown started (in Scotland) so far you've managed to help me to: identify then fix the pinched nerve in my shoulder; sort my posture which has got rid of other back pain I was experiencing for years; you've encouraged me to enjoy exercising regularly and now there's this really sound nutritional advice which will help me, my husband and kids. Also, as a result of all this I'm even sleeping better (chronic insomniac the whole of my life). You also cheer me up, whatever else is going on. Started this program in March and as of today I’ve lost 27 pounds. My lab work is better, also. Typically I keep carbs below 100 grams and fiber above 30 grams. No more white bread, very little pasta, and a drastic reduction in any sugared beverage. I also primarily use Truvia for my ice tea and have eggs and bacon at least five times a week. No cholesterol problems and improving HA1C. Amazing.
Yes!!! I did the same but because I joined a weight loss group at work & had heard so much info about cutting carbs + I also KNEW I had to cut sugars 🙄 😬 cuz I have a HUGE sweet tooth 🤦🏻♀️ & OMG 😱🤯🤯 it worked!!!! My 1st 5lbs that I lost, I don't think counted cuz I had a molar extracted & that kept me from eating comfortably but I kept up with lowering my carbs, increasing fiber + protein and lost and additional 10lbs!!! My starting weight was 200lbs and the last time I weighed myself, I was at 186 🙌❤️... I started late Feb2022 & that last weigh in was April 3, 2022 & the only "exercise" I did was "fast walking" that I did at my custodial job 😅
You guys helped me recover from my stroke. I did your videotaped exercises in addition to my physical therapy visits. Both of you look great! Congrats on your weight loss!
Watching this video made me so so happy! I am a student physical therapist who lost about 30 pounds when I switched to eating mostly plant based. Currently, I am working with a fellow Occupational Therapy student in Tulsa, OK. We teaching classes that we have created about plant based eating to people with physical disabilities. They have loved it so far and it has really opened a conversation about why it's so easy to eat unhealthy. Thank you for spreading the word! I'm a big fan!
I ate mostly plant based- following Greger's advice a lot- for 18 months and my blood glucose rose nearly into the prediabetic range. I wasn't trying to lose weight but gained fat according to professional body fat measure. My usual serving of chickpeas too me almost into the diabetic range. Had to back off and reintroduce animal foods. Much. harder than losing 40 lbs. years ago by eating sweets, seconds, and snacks on weekends only.
Banza pasta is made from chickpeas and I did the math on their rotini and it came out to 4. It’s available at Walmart. It has a different texture than traditional pasta but not as labor intensive as zoodles.
Amazing! My husband and I just started this, and between us we lost ten lbs last month!!! It may not seem like a big deal to some, but to us it is tremendous! This is the first nutrition program that he has ever followed, or felt it made sense. This is important as HE insists upon doing the coking,-and it's so much easier when you're both on the same food plan. I notice the grocery stores are stocking foods they didn't have six months ago, with high fiber, low carbs and the nutrition information plainly visible. After a week or two of mathematical ups and lows it becomes second nature. I just want to thank you two, we're onto something here!
Oh my goodness!! I just checked my favorite organic whole grain rice cakes, figuring they must have an ideal 5:1 ratio. ACK!! 1 cake is only 70 calories BUT the total carbs are 16g and fiber 1g, so that means a score of 16?!? No-o-o-o-o!!! Thank you for this information, Bob & Brad!
You guys are better than Frick and Frack… And I think I’m doing a lot better at fixing my body than I ever was fixing my car! I highly recommend this kind of physical therapy… If you’re not getting up and doing what they tell you to do, you are laughing so hard you’re creating an ab workout!
This makes sense to me. It also shows where/why I've been struggling. Carbs divided by fiber, how simple. I'm going to try this. Thank you for the information.
Popcorn with salt and butter is great. I had it for dinner every day for 3 weeks (depressed, and it was all I wanted) and lost 10 pounds, eating normally for other meals. Although when I think about, 3 weeks away from a hostile workplace helped too!
@ Chicken Tender. Thank you for that addition at the end. Stress, whether from workplace or other multiple sources in the last year and a half, is my biggest hurdle.
@@ljones98391 It's really diificult dealing with stress, especially from workplace jerks. I compensated by gaining over 30 pounds. Lost some but still have to watch myself. Now I just think those people mean less than nothing to me and enough practice with that means I forget about them after a little while. Hope you find a way to take good care of yourself.
I went through a huge popcorn phase with the extra butter and everything, not a good diet choice for me, if I had to mush other stuff by the end of the day
Staying away from 80 to 90 percent of packaged and processed foods has helped me the most. Most packaged foods contain too much sugar and too much salt. Getting reduced or even no salt products also really great.
We all need to remember that our bodies are so different. My endocrinologist had me match 1 gram complex carb to one gram protein in order to reduce my hypoglycemic crashes. I also lost 70 pounds.
Correct but your goal was to manage your hypoglycemic episodes, sounds like. For people not experiencing those, they could certainly cut down on all the junky carbs of which there are plenty in our diets, in general. I, too, get rebound postprandial hypoglycemia if, say, I have only a bagel for breakfast - I pay for it three hours later! Now a bagel with some eggs ( protein ) - fine. So it does depend on our goals AND current health issues ! I’m betting most people are just simply looking to lose excess weight. Most are not going to endocrinologists. Wishing you good health!
@@B3l0v3d05 Hi, I pretty much don't buy any processed foods anymore. It was a huge change. So, I have to weigh my serving of complex carb and read the chart to know the grams so that I can equal it out to my protein grams. My food scale has become my best friend in the kitchen. However, if I was looking at a label on yogurt for instance: my Chobani says 11 g protein and 16 g carbs. It is almost 1:1 so it is a safe choice for me. If it was 3:1 then I am setting my self up for a spike then a crash.
Great explanation and user friendly of the 5 to 1 Rule. Keep the information and knowledge coming in this complex and frustrating area of losing weight.
During this covid time I started baking breads, OMG! They were so good! I put on almost 20 lbs. I went to my dr. And he said loose 10 lbs. in 3 months I lost 15lbs, by cutting back on carbs!

There's a new brand - BANZA pasta that has no wheat or grain at all, they use ONE ingredient! Chickpeas! 3 times the fiber, twice the protien of normal pasta! Amazing stuff... look it up.
Yes! BANZA chickpea pasta! I'm so glad you mentioned this brand of chickpea pasta. I cook it a little longer than what the box says. It's gluten free, but don't let that scare you. Yummy! Lots of protein and fiber!! You'll be satiated for hours! Now, I've got to look for more recipes using it because I've only mastered Spaghetti Bolognese.
One caution. Folks with IBS type issues or that need low FODMAP need to be careful with chickpeas. Recommend doing the slow introduction test to check whether chickpeas affect their symptoms.

Lentil pasta is also very good. Most popcorn uses gmo corn...ugh! Nothing wrong with using a small amt of butter or ghee if source is 100% grass-fed. Cheerios comes from grains that are tainted with glyphosphates which is an active ingredient in Roundup.

How would you define the word “fascist”? I wonder because I find that most people can’t define it. I can’t define it off hand and I’m an English major and student of history. It’s like Left- wing and Right-wing. What does that mean exactly? All I know is that I’m a college graduate. Writer, TV producer, now actor. My husband has a Ph.d in political science from the University of Colorado and a Master’s in public administration from Harvard. Our neighbor next door works in construction. His son is in medical school. Another neighbor runs the town waste facility. His wife is an aide at the assisted living center. Our town has millionaires and truck drivers, nurses and wait staff. Good people. Friendly people. And what I have found is that people look very different when you accept them as individuals instead of just applying a label and moving on.
I cut way down on the carbs too and always try to have fruit (usually berries) with breakfast and a vegetable or a salad with lunch and dinner and I lost 50 lbs. It took YEARS for me to figure this out - that it's all about the carbs (for me anyway) to just reduce them and the weight comes off. And add more fiber, like they said. I had also adopted a little shelter dog and so the walking of the dog every day added to the weight loss too.
That is great adopting a shelter dog and both of u supporting each other along. A home means so much to our dogs and cats. They give and need love too, being part of a household or family. 🙂🙂🙂
Totally true. I'm down 55 pounds in 14 months, and still losing weight slowly. I cut out non-fruit carbs almost entirely and I eat only two meals a day with no snacks except fruit (OK, sometimes a Kind nut bar....). I don't count calories or carb grams because that's too neurotic for me. I just avoid all white foods and sugar -- bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, cereal, pastries, desserts, candy, and sweetened drinks except for honey in my morning coffee. I eat tons of meat, eggs, whole fat dairy, fresh fruit, greens, vegetables and nuts. I also walk 2-3 hours most days. And yeah, my blood chemistry is back to teenager status. It's changed my life.

Makes a lot of sense. I’ve found when I have a diet focused on fiber intake I feel better and lose weight, though never thought about using this 5:1 ratio as a benchmark for making good choices.
I can't thank you guys enough for this video. I've never heard of the 5:1 rule until now. I'm basically a flexitarian but have really done badly with the carbs and sweets since the pandemic. I gained weight and want to get it together for my health and weight. Btw, it's numerator over denominator. 😃

Bob and Brad really helped me with physio so I’m back to light weight training and walking again.. I’m wondering if it’s my age that’s making losing weight difficult
@@AP-nx6xo Check out the anti-aging interviews at Modern Healthspan and then check out the video "How not to diet" by Michael Greger. If you just want the top few tips, 1) Get high intensity exercise as often as you can, 2) Eat as many low-calorie, high nutrition foods as you can (the best source of nutrition is plants), 3) For the high calorie foods you do eat, move them earlier in the day. 4) If you do cheat, have plans in place before-hand to turn a large cheat into a small cheat. 5) Maintain your mental health and optimism. Costs don't matter if you are not able to carry self-pride and optimism. The two sources at the top will help you find ways to increase your metabolism (although HIIT is a big one) so you can focus more on nutrients and less on calories, but until you get that stuff in place you have to focus on both. For 2) the first step is to get rid of liquid calories and for 1) note that a gym class will help you push yourself beyond previous limits. I have made far more progress with Zumba than I ever would have coming in and visiting the machines for a few minutes until I got bored.

Hi guys! I recently got plunged into the fitness trainer postion at my gym. Most of our memembers our above 55. Your videos have been so helpful. Thanks so much!
When I was 24, I literally was able to exercise my way out of a bad diet LITERALLY. I was 5-9 215 and in the summer all I did was play basketball outside at the YMCA after work. I ate McDonalds literally several times a day as I was addicted to those $1 double cheeseburgers, fries and the sweet tea. Playing basketball for like 3 hours 4-5 days a week helped me lose 30 pounds in a month and a half (185 pounds), I worked all of my muscles literally just playing ball and sweating my ass off. I cannot do that now though for sure 🤣🤣🤣.
Thanks guys, for always being the reasonable and sensible people you are. Understanding a plant based diet is a healthy option even if it’s a few days a week. And cutting out carbs, without going Paleo 🙃 is so great!
I’m a Registered Dietitian and I tell my patients to go on a low STARCH, low SUGAR diet. Just like you are saying. I also tell them to measure their portions. Use those calculations on 1/2 cup servings.
Yes! The only thing I measure is the 'carb' foods, like grains and corn. I use a measuring scoop from the dollar store. Never eat more than a cup...that's 2 servings. i don't count carbs from non-starchy veggies.
Ann, yes! 1/2 cup portions. I lost 30 lbs. I used those little 1/2 cup pyrex bowls and put in nuts, veggies, yogurt, meats, fruit. Ate one bowl an hour, it's really hard to do at first, for me at least. And moved. Portion control is half the battle. No fake food the other.
@@joyfaith1711 How many people are going to cut ALL starch and sugar? Especially cold-turkey? Don’t let the perfect get in the way of the good. And, while “low” is relative, there’s nothing that says low can’t be defined by the dietician. (It should be.)

I've lost 70 pounds in 1 year on Keto by 'Zeroing' out my carbs. I also lowered my waist size by 4 inches. Also, my Rosacea is nearly gone. Plus...I was on high blood pressure meds which I have now been able to stop taking and maintain a normal blood pressure. Keto shouldn't be viewed as a 'diet' per se. Maintaining Ketosis is a metabolic process. When the body does not have enough glucose for energy, it starts burning stored fats instead. Don't be afraid of trying Keto. Carbs, sugar, vegetable and seed oils, and fructose are poisons to the body. Don't eat anything that says low fat either.
I'm glad you found the secret! As a 55 year old woman, I finally fixed my metabolism using Keto!! And you're right, the pounds came off eating delicious food. (My husband lost 20 lbs of 2 months low carbs 25 years ago but I couldn't get on board because my mental block was saying "I Can't Eat All That Food-- it Can't Work For Me"... but now, years later I realize the secret is in the Number of Carbs! I don't have to starve! Keto has changed my life, healed my pre-diabetes , healed my fibromyalgia, healed my depression. I look and feel my young self again! I lost weight eating my fav foods. I now eat ice cream (stevia sweetened, home made) and I eat strawberry shortcake (again, stevia sweetened) and sugar free whipped cream.
This is great! I just discovered you two and I'm so glad I did. I just wanted to "approve this message." I also follow Dr. Greger amongst other reliable doctors (both MD and PhD) dieticians in the plant-based community. Now on to more of your P.T. videos. Thanks Bob & Brad!
I’ve been doing keto for a very long time, don’t know how many years. I have not lost an ounce, but I am pretty close to an ideal weight. I just use it to keep down seizures.
I thought the same thing: panicky because I lost weight so fast! I started South Beach’s low glycemic diet (even starting at stage 2 instead of stage 1) and the weight just fell off! We were out-of-town for 2 months, so I did not have clothes available as I went from Size 14 slacks to Size 10! Even went down to Size 8 by the end, but now in Size 10 and have stayed right there 👍......less bread and carbs and just eat more Vegs than meat.
Thank you SO MUCH for this information. I am finally having succes with this 5 to 1 rule after a decade of struggling. The weight is melting off. I have shared it with so many others too. God bless 🙏 you!
1 reason so many people give their kids cheerios goes back probably about 50 yrs or so. the thing that made them popular for parents to give small children was docs suggesting them because of the hole in the middle preventing a small child getting their windpipe covered/preventing choking, because if they accidently swallowed it whole, the hole in the middle still made it possible for the child to breathe. nowadays, you will often find other snacks made for small children (in the baby/toddler section) made in the same shape as cheerios for this reason.
this is absolutely wild.... I checked the label of my favorite brown rice product and got a value of 19! I'm not so interested in weight loss as I am about fibre intake...definitely an eye opener!
I've never heard of taking the manufacturers posted number of Carbs, dividing by the number of dietary fiber. I have only heard that I take the Total Carbs, MINUS the dietary fiber, and that is the actual carbs that you are eating in the amount of food the manufacturer states is "a serving." The dividing the carbs by the fiber number has one still eating a boat load of carbs. BUT...I really enjoy these two guys shows. They have some great information they hand out, and in an enjoyable manner. Thanks to you both, Bob & Brad.
I've lost several pounds the past few weeks. I've adjusted my diet a little bit, mainly trying to cut down on carbs and sugar. I mostly have cut out sugary drinks. No sodas, or energy drinks, no juice unless it's low sugar. It's worked quite well!
A neat trick for juices. Grape juice, as a prime example, has lots of really healthy polyphenols, but it has *way* too many calories. What you can do is mix about 3 parts unsweetened tea, 2 parts jaimaica, and 1 part grape juice, and you benefit from the polyphenols while not o-d'ing on the sugar. Think of fruit juice as a "natural sweetener" rather than a "drink".
Cheerios leave me hungrier than before 9I started my breakfast. I’m also more likely ,to suffer an attack of low blood sugar. So, I eat oatmeal almost every day.
Had no idea about cheerios and inflammation. Makes since due to being processed. I stopped eating it about a year ago but it was in an attempt to reduce carbs.
Learn your body. A diet may work for one person and doesn't work for the other. I was told no carbs and starches and struggled to lose. Then lost over 70lbs eating a moderate amount of carbs and cardio including potatoes and rice. I ate e meals a day but only 1- starches. If I had oatmeal in the morning that was my starch for the day. Substitutions also help a lot. I lifted weights 3 times a week to help shape and strengthen my body. I stopped weighing myself and just focused on my health and fitness. I'm still plump but I feel 10x better. It's a journey for some of us.
I love these guys! I’ve learned so much from watching them these last few years! I even have my wife watching their videos and she loves them too! 👍🏾🤩👍🏾
There are low carb potatoes, at least in Australia. It depends on the type of potato. There are many varieties and the Kestrel is one of the lower carb ones. I'm a diabetic and the standard potato in any form shoots my glucose up but with the low carb ones if I have a dinner of meat, green veg and potato I have to watch that my glucose doesn't end up too low.
I snack on popcorn often. Snappy Pop white (amazon) is the BEST! I season with no-sodium Mural of Flavor (Penzey's) and Nutritional yeast. Sometimes, I add a bit of Cayenne. It is a great snack.
It's been my experience that low-carb is a slippery slope, it works great as a quick fix and for folks that are in good shape and exercise regularly. But if you have to lose more than 25lbs then you need a lifestyle change. I use myfitnesspal app and count my calories. What's most effective about this is logging every meal and understanding your food intake which will get you away from eating really fattening foods. I get 1800 calories a day which allows me to lose 2lbs a week, it's slow and steady and you can keep it off because with proper planning in place you can eat a lot of food. I've lost 75lbs doing this and have kept it off. Thanks for the video I can see where it helps people who don't understand nutrition and never had a weight problem but suddenly as they get older they gain weight as their metabolism slows down and need some help.
@@bonnielagrone Well if you can get on a recumbent bike, pickup some dumbbells or take a walk and burn some calories you get more than 1300. There's no magic bullet. Get all the junk food out of the house.
Eating fat does not make you fat (with the exception of vegetable oils which are highly processed). Calories are not the enemy. Sugar, wheat, corn and soy are the enemies. You need to watch Dr Berg on RUclips. I would pretty much guarantee you are always hungry if you're avoiding fat and eating low calorie which is not sustainable.
Weight loss and diet are interesting subjects. I was obese in Jan and have been for many years. 230-240 pounds average build. 6’-1”.. Turned 47 and man I had lost muscle and was fat. I began logging my food in an app and being mindful of what I ate, concentrating in whole foods with the majority being fruit and vegetables. I have dropped 35 pounds but am still overweight.
Keep it up Shane! It can be a journey but it's worth it. What these guys said about losing weight at the table and not the gym is right on (though the gym helped me burn off a bit of the extra!).
I'm 6' and 205 with a very unathletic build. So I guess I'm also overweight. I used to be 165 and much more fit! 😭😅 I've been back in the gym the last few weeks but I haven't lost anything yet.
You didn't put the weight on in a few months; it will take time to shed. This approach is gold. I eat burgers on 5:1 english muffins, egg salad, frozen berries, bacon and eggs almost every day, drink ice tea with monk fruit sweetener, occasional salads...and a few tablespoons of peanut butter each day. I'm losing about a pound a week. More importantly, my blood work is much better. Just keep the carbs below 100-125 daily and good things happen.
I absolutely loved this video! I would love more of what to eat (good examples) and meal ideas! My daughter is getting married at the end of May and I would LOVE to lose some weight! This was great info! Thank you!

Congrats man! Glad to hear you are doing well. I hope you continue on your positive health journey
You need to get your HA1C level. Above 5.5 and you can still be pre-diabetic.
@@andredarin8966 I have been to my diabetes Dr twice now and they tested my A1C and he told me that I'm at the normal range (not even pre-diabetic now). I go back for my 3rd appointment in February.
I ran into the same thing about 3 years ago. I went down about 60 pounds with just the same.
I lost about 70 lbs by cutting out grains and sugar.

Currently, I am working with a fellow Occupational Therapy student in Tulsa, OK. We teaching classes that we have created about plant based eating to people with physical disabilities.

I tried the Banza pizza and it was great !!! Frozen pizza

Even brown rice-usually considered to be healthier-has a very poor ratio. Pretty much the 16/1 that you note.

Bob and Brad my favorite medical support folks on the internet (-:
Can you give an example of 1 to 1 when looking at a nutrition label? My main issue is hypoglycemia also
@@B3l0v3d05 Hi, I pretty much don't buy any processed foods anymore.
One the easiest definition to check labelling; you both look and are wonderful!
5 to 1 -- total grams of carbs divided by total grams of fiber should equal 5 or less. Otherwise too many carbs (simple carbs).
So it is grams, I wanted to check that😊

Because it is not a rule. Just a sneaky intro to the low carb diet.
Eat foods above 5:1, and add fiber to them.
@@stargazer2042 Um, that's not low carb in the usual sense. Low carb usually means you take carbs, ignore the ratio, and replace them with unhealthy things like excess meats and oils.

Don’t let the perfect get in the way of the good. And, while “low” is relative, there’s nothing that says low can’t be defined by the dietician. (It should be.)
In order to get your ratios correct you need to make sure that the data has the same terms (I.e. milligrams, grams), to make adequate comparisons. Don’t forget to do this.

Thanks to you both, Bob & Brad.
thats what I was thinking too. I am so confused now lol
@@jefflittle8913 Yes, I've learned that little trick, it works quite well. Many juices are so sugary it's ridiculous.
This was adorable, informative and actually very funny!!!!! Love you guys. You inspire me to do better by making it achievable.
Actually Cheerios can cause inflammation in the joints. It highly processed with not-so-good ingredients
Aren’t they the highest pesticide content in packaged food?
wow, this had over a million views; I think you may be the two most famous physical therapists on the internet after all!
Intermittent fasting for a few months worked for me. I also eat less and feel more full.
Do you need to watch carbs when doing IF?
I snack on popcorn often. Snappy Pop white (amazon) is the BEST! I season with no-sodium Mural of Flavor (Penzey's) and Nutritional yeast. Sometimes, I add a bit of Cayenne. It is a great snack.
How do you pop it?
Always great advise, delivered in such a fun and realistic way, especially for those stubborn pounds that don’t want to leave!!! Thanks gentlemen!!
I showed my back doctor what I was watching on you tube your videos and she said her husband watches you too. Love your videos.
I agree with you . Im on a 1725 cal a day plan
awesome!!!
i use MFP. i only get 1300 calories. its not enough so i keep messing up.
I respected you both before, and now I respect you even more if it is possible! Great video!
That's awesome Shane! Keep up the good work, stories like yours are really inspirational.
You're 35 lbs less overweight than you were! Woot woot! That's amazing!
Love your video on plantar fasciitis. I’ve been doing the exercises and it’s so much better thank you
These guys remind me of click and clack the Tappet brothers. On Car talk radio. Haha they have great comedic chemistry.
I absolutely loved this video! I would love more of what to eat (good examples) and meal ideas! My daughter is getting married at the end of May and I would LOVE to lose some weight! This was great info! Thank you!
Hi 👋 dear, how are you doing?
Aldi has lentil and chickpea pasta. No wheat flour.
Both have too many carbs if you are trying to keep to 20 net carbs
Both would destroy me, too much fiber.
They taste like cardboard I’ve tried
@@AvsFan32 haha, so you eat less?
Beans and peas are definitely off the list if you’re trying to do low carb.
Portion size is the hidden gem too ... these guys are awesome!
RIGHT! One cup of pasta/cereal is TWO servings of carbs.
That is something much easier to work with. We're going to try that today when I go shopping. Thank you!!
