      because he keeps it simple by creating circles wherever there are arcs instead of wasting time creating 3-pt arcs using the arc-line command which is how I did it. His method makes more sense as the circle center is laid out on the print so there's no second guessing. He's one of the best, plus he doesn't make us listen to Google background music while he's teaching.

    Do you ever use "Extract", "Boundary" ( i am from CATIA team) or something like this, guys? This is 'quick fix' modeling, as in the most of those examples on YT, not as it should be.
    I mean, taking the surface or the edge directly from Solid for Sketch... my boss would fire me instantly. :)

    • @mopikoa8726
      @mopikoa8726 4 года назад +1

      +1 I do not think there is enough information to determine it is 30mm. He also said it is not shown on the diagram

      @FrenchieYang12 there was no information in the question about that distance hence he assumed it.

    how can you tell the holes are through all? do u just assume it? and how do u know the bottom R10 is a fillet not an arc?

    • @sofiacornejo8628
      @sofiacornejo8628 5 лет назад

      the exam says all holes through all

    • @swarajnaik3520
      @swarajnaik3520 4 года назад

      The fillet basically works as a arc if the radius is less.

    I got 1283.30 grams and he got 1280.33 grams. Is my answer acceptable or not?

    • @evvierusso4528
      @evvierusso4528 4 года назад

      Yes, you must be withing .5%

    • @runtime_engineer
      @runtime_engineer 4 года назад

      @@evvierusso4528 I read on Reddit that you should always try to get exact answers. That is because if you're off by some % on first question that % is only going to grow in the following questions which could take it outside of % acceptable range.

    • @evvierusso4528
      @evvierusso4528 4 года назад

      @@runtime_engineer that is correct, but the rule of the test is within .5%. There is a difference between what you should do and what is an acceptable answer.
