    Create a point coincident on the edge of the circle, then create a relation coincident to the straight line as well, now set a smart dimension of 36 vertical to that line in the reference image. Set the circles radius to 41, and then ensure it has a vertical relation with the line below. Done!

    hey man I am having trouble with the first design for number 3. I got everything except the radius 19 at the top. How do you select the focal point of the arc. in the drawing it is visble for the R29 at the bottom but at the top the R19 is very difficult to select focal point.

    For 34:00 you can draw the circle first then set a point then set the distance to 36 and then set the radius/diameter

    I started in reverse. Established a construction line down (36) and then another to intersect the part. Then I made the circle coincedent to the right side and the intersection point. The center of the circle was 3.58mm higher than the top of the part. I'll check out your next vid now.

    Ad a vertex, constraint it on edge and circle and set distance distance to 36 from upper edge.

  •  4 года назад +2

    34:18 I think you just need to do a parallel line to the top down there, specify it's distance and then make the ring go through that line where it crosses through the shape?

    hellow adriaan,i have some questions i want to ask you
    1.as i watched your video you said i can use two laptop during examination one to run the solidworks and another for virtual tester pro.....two laptop must communicate to each other or not necessary?
    2.how long it takes to conduct the exam after online.

    • @AdriaanVanNiekerk
      @AdriaanVanNiekerk  2 года назад +1

      Hi Nurdin. I think I used two monitors coupled to one computer, but two computers will work just as well. The laptops do not need to communicate with each other at all. The virtual tester will just give you the questions and receive your answers. It does not check to see if you open up Solidworks etc.
      If I can remember correctly they give you 3 hours to complete the exam. I completed mine in 2 hours, but I know of people that did it quicker. 3 hours should be enough, especially if something goes wrong and you need to re-do certain aspects. Good luck! Let me know how it goes 💪

    When I follow the tutorial I get the same density but not the same mass? I am not sure why? I also wasn’t able to have a fully defined black lined shape? Do u know why?

    • @AdriaanVanNiekerk
      @AdriaanVanNiekerk  3 года назад

      If the mass differs, then your part is not quite as it should be. If the lines are still blue, it means it can move around. I suggest you select the line (or point) with your cursor and try to move it around. Its behaviour will tell you what dimension needs to be added to make it fully defined.

    What is difference in cswa practice exam and main exam?
    Is there any possibility to repeat the questionnaire?

    • @AdriaanVanNiekerk
      @AdriaanVanNiekerk  3 года назад +2

      The practise exam essentially is there so that you can familiarise yourself with the program that you will use to access the questions and input your answers. The real exam will have different questions each time. As long as you do not submit at the end, you can revisit all the questions that you have completed and make changes if you want. Hope this answers your question👍

      Hi Ziad - for the paid exams you can do it as many times as you want. You just need to pay for every time. You can do the free exam, that I go through in the video, once a month. The questions in the paid exam is similar to the free one, but will never be the same.

      Well if you are prepared it should be a walk in the park. Just take your time, as you have enough. Also, try and make sure with the multiple questions that your answer is exactly the same as one of the options. That is a good indication that you modelled the part correctly. Good luck!
