Just got into J.D. Simo --- this guy is an amazing talent. Tommy is great of course --- but J.D. will be carrying the torch. At his heart, he is a blues player who can shape shift like many of the greats do. I look forward to seeing what he does next!
Always loved this tune. Never thought anybody else but Otis could do it justice. But you boys done goooood! Loved the great guitar work, great new arrangement of a wonderful old tune, and amazing singing. (I think I heard Chet tapping his foot upstairs!)

About the tide coming in on the bay, oh and using some string-rendention of an apparatus, to calm the sea's. Quite natural if ya think about it. Sounds just as natural as it could. Bravo!!

I always loved this Song, when I Iived in Florida they played that on many stations, seems like everytime i was driving somewhere it was playing on the radio , or if you were sitting on the beach with your radio, it was on!! Now this rendition of 'Sittin On the Dock of the Bay' I really enjoyed from the two of them, great voices and guitar!!

Дык профи, пару его концертов посетил, из зала попросили purple haze - сбацал, оч круто. А вот по поводу импровизации подкачал, когда попросили Джанго Рейнхарда сыграть, и мелодия размазана и тема, песню не вспомню. В итоге, что годами отточено играет огонь.

And were simply amazing as was the entire show featuring many other Royal Studio artists. Boo taped the show for a documentary but it hasn’t seen the light of day yet. Thanks for posting this gem.

Awesome. TE is the greatest! I've had the opportunity to be with him twice and both times he's been the nicest person in the entertainment industry. A virtuoso, yet willing to share the limelight. And you know any video he is in, the music will be fantastic.
I'm 2 years late to your comment, but you are 1000000%. I had my first opportunity to meet him in person not too long ago and you are so right. The most humble and down to earth guy with EVERYONE who was clamoring to meet him. After a 2+hr show he sat down with I couldn't tell you how many other fans and played with them, signed autographs, took pictures, helped people fix their guitars, talked music etc...I have no idea what time he ended up leaving the theater but I swear he must have just went to his bus, took a nap long enough to get a little rested then came back in for the next show the next day lol. And you're right. I can't find a single video where his playing or presence has made it worse. Oh...and yes, you are correct. THE GREATEST guitar player. EVER lol.
