    I'll fill in the blank for you for Warriors.
    Warriors at level 10 gains a skill that is equivalent to Assaulting Lance (aka gains +1 AP if enemy is defeated) but has one additional ability to it that makes it superior to Assaulting Lance, Cannot Be Guarded. It'll punch through any guard stat no-matter how high. Also couple that with S Rank Attack stat, yeah these characters have really high kill potential.

      When he got to warrior, I was expecting S. Then when he said he was putting in D, I thought he was joking. At lvl 10 they become probably one of the best unit for killing and attacking again. Their only weakness is to high evasion units but they make up for it by being able to continually attack against anything else and deal extra damage to armor.

    Sell sword is S tier class , if no one dodges their attack then she can attack attack at least 3+ times in a fight and honestly one shot most things including armored knights if you build her correctly and she can regain AP on active kills.
    Shamans is C tier class at best because they are really bad in the Demo, they take up a team slot and they don’t provide any damage outside of pure support but even then there no magic character in the current demo that really needs a damage boost in the first place.
    Mage is arguably S tier because that can do more then 50% hp damage to the entire team by themselves but at the same time there Aoe damage comes pretty late.
    Honorable mention is that archer is arguably a B tier class. they are a very flexible unit, one of the very few units that can one shot the backline, can make any attack a true hit, do very consistent damage and the pursuit skill can just bypasses some units passive skills

      Shaman doesn't provide damage??? What????
      They grant you essentially permanent first strike, you just kill everything before they even start moving.

      They dont provide direct damage true but removing passive points like guards or heals can do wonders for the total damage delt by the end of a fight

      @@tacticsogreman First striking is very nice but the other characters on that team would still need to be able to full clear on there own for that to really matter, so in most cases it just different type of damage prevention and the game has multiple ways to do that are technically more reliable.
      Also, there are multiple ways to buff your own team initiative, the debuff doesn’t really guarantee that your entire team is going first, there are some characters that just don’t Want to go first at all, and shamans still don’t do damage or have anyone who needs there support.
      During the demo they are just sorta pointless in most fights but they are probably going to be really good pass the demo when the get extra AP and PP, that would help them be way more useful in general.

      @@purplatypus7405 Removing PP is a amazing ability but that doesn’t really matter in the current demo because you’re capable of bypassing most guard skills with magic, passive skills, multiple attacks, or just do so much physical damage that guarding doesn’t really matter and the only healing character that really get hard counter by shaman is gladiator.
      Shamans are just like archers, they good but never great on any team comp and In the current demo shaman is just a win more unit but not even the best one.
      Weirdly enough, I think offensive curse is the better ability and passive curse will be better later in the game when more dangerous passive abilities start showing up.
      Shamans will be really good in mid to late game when they have way more resources to use but current they just don’t add enough to a single team comp that really make them stand out as MVP of any team.

    I’d disagree on warrior, they have the highest strength and have effectively killing chain at level 10 the same as sell sword so they have the best potential for sweeping with it. I’d also argue it’s far harder to counter a warrior melting armors since there’s skills to stop magic but not really any to stop the warrior, and ignoring 100% defense just results in the armor always being oneshot. I think they as less versatile than Cav and Sellsword since they lack the mobility of cavs and binding guard is generally less useful than following slash but I’d still probably put them in B since if you have an avo tank in front you can’t make use of following slash anyway and you don’t always need the extra mobility. They have the most raw damage of any physical unit we have atm.
    I agree Gladiator is decent, just think offensively Griffin is often going to be better with the higher initiative (especially with the level 15 skill) and the higher avo vs all ground attacks make them good at front lining as well. Glad has the potential to get better if we get gear that gives % dmg reduction since they’ll make the best use of it, there’s a ring from the black market merchant that gives 5% dmg reduction so if we see something that gives 10 or more that will be great for them.

      Gladiators vs griffin depends on how tanky you can get the gladiator squad. I havent tested enough to know, but they seem like they'd make a good heal squad. Healer as leader, 2 gladiators up front, and switch rune knight/fighter depending on enemy's on map. Gives a squad that can heal assist other units and then clean up left over scraps

      Yeah, radiant knight and hoplites combo is really good and only way I could break it in mock battles was using a warrior. They have average initiative so you can get them to act early with a plume

      @@gjfwang Why would you need them to act early though? They don't need to outspeed something to block it or cast the magical barrier and they outspeed every magical class we have currently if you need the extra pp from hache. They can also block warriors with Holy guard, but it's borderline impossible to make them not block other enemies 1st if there's something faster than a Warrior that is also infantry.
      I think the plumes are kinda wasted on them anyway, but if you don't have a good user of one lying around they can use it but I don't think it benefits them much. Shaman's make great use of them, Witch's also can with Icebolt and a Griffin can use one well with feathering to buff up the initiative of allies in the same row.

      @@twigz3214 I meant plume for warriors, so you can kill the hoplite before your dps's turns. Since as long as the hoplite is alive and not disabled, they're gonna tank any attacks to the backrow. Hoplites have low initiative.

    Hoplites and wyverns are absurd in enemy squads when paired with magic/ranged blocking.
    It's wild how a squad's kill potential can 400+ damage dealt and no damage taken, to 3 damage dealt and 100 damage taken because some units have their damage almost, if not completely nullified by select enemies. Makes a lot of the silver bullet classes way better than they seem.

    swordmaster and radiant knight are quite good honestly, it's actually insane that a radiant knight is not a promoted class has so much utility and absolutely fuck up mages with their magic shields and make a great complement to hoplites, also has the best heal in the demo, swordmasters are honestly better thiefs and can tank like crazy, but only against melee squads also they have an endless ap/pp loop similar to sellswords, , warrior should go b tho :P excellent armor killing and sweeping on top, but since you rated them so low, well you are not in the same perspective apparently, needless to say that gryphons are just over the top SSS a witch just can cast the spell on them that adds a 50 magic potency and it applies to the whole aoe, also the aoe is 300 potency against cavalry, by flying you can rush the leader of any map instantly and just instant win, flying is op as always.

    I set up Alain to have one tactic that says “hit the enemy with the lowest HP when your health is below 75%” and another below that that says “Hit enemies who have 0 AP left” just to act as an AP dump at the end of battle if he doesn’t take enough damage to proc Lean Edge based on the HP level

    Will you make a guide about two classes that work very well together/has a nice synergy. a few classes I havnt figured out yet - and have a feeling that they need someone to do x,y and z for them.

    Nice demo tier list! The only class I felt should be higher is warrior, but I don't have any evidence, lol. It's nice to have an anti-armor unit besides mages, runic weapon users, and units empowered by the sorcerer. The three-hit weapon you can purchase helps warriors to do good damage even if you're not attacking an armored enemy. Also, Nina is cute and the beer belly guy has a cool design

    I agree fighter isn't very good, but lex always makes it into one of my units because he covers thieves and flyers... and griffon knight is just so good.
    I feel like stamina system is totally trivialized by Knights with short rest. If you add silver hourglass you have nearly instant rest time so the uptime is just constant and you basically just need 2 units to wipe the demo, the second team being a base holder. Cavalry is just so much better than everything else it's insane.

    Dudes im feeling lot of people has be wrong whith some classes, especialy , the defensive classes, for example gladiator or Hoplite, in fact, its true for the case of an HYPEROffensive team can beat things after even can react, but for some teams : For example :
    Ranger Assist Focuses (Magic,Healing,Arrows) i think you dont want one round enemies, i hope the funtion of a unit in a Tower is assist and be sure to not die.
    My Facts are the following :
    1. When you beat the game you unlock (True Zenorian) Difficulty : When a Squad is wipe all inside characters are Perma-Death, but not individual deaths
    - For this reason, things like revive or other skills gonna be great
    2. The Stamina System is a Little Cheeseable in the demo, but later prob you gonna need squads(Assist Leaders) that support your others, So the funtion of this teams i think is STAY Alive to Support, not OneRound-Every, That is for your sweepers
    3. I feel Things like this comps are near unkileable , and can support a lot :
    - (Heal Assist) : Cleric + Gladiator + ShellSword + Shaman : He can survive more than 3 fights easy, and can support and using it stamina for Support
    - (Arrow) : Ranger + Radiand + Hoplite : Hoplite only covering PP for Phy not Mag, and a Radiant for the Opposite, the 4º or 5º slot can be other things
    But i feel some teams dont need one round or full potencial kill enemies, only survive in case of engage a battle without other allie than can fight near
    For sure its more funny build a Party capable of one round the mayor enemies posible, but i feel Tierlisting unit for killing potential is not the true value of complex in this game
    Tanks for reading me, beside i dont say you or any are wrong its merely my opnion, and its true for the clases like knight w a Killing Loop Feels more powerfull than a Hoplite, but beside of this, i think all Squads have funtions :)

    I don't really like warrior either and much prefer any of the mage characters, but it isn't that bad. It has more initiate and is more tanky than a mage. So if you need to get some extra damage in on those pesky armored units before your real dps attacks, or if you can't run another fragile unit in your formation, you can use them. Imo it's generally better to itemize for that though -- e.g. initiative item/buff on your mage or a magic attack spear/sword -- but regardless, it's not that bad. And what if you don't have enough of those items for all your units? So imo there is a place for them.
    Beside that I roughly agree. I'd downgrade both the hoplite and fighter 1 rank though. Fighter is just bad and hoplite is only slightly better and just not really needed in the demo. In fact, the more I play the demo, the worse I think fighter is. Just leaving them out makes the game easier.
    I do think hoplite could be better further in the game though. Because there are formation that can help them with their magic weakness and I've also seen spears that drain AP/PP in a column. That could be good for a low damage tank, once characters get more than 1 AP/PP.
    I don't really have much hope for fighter though. But maybe their promotion gets some good skills? I haven't checked that yet. They are more niche than and generally weaker than Warriors though.
    I also feel thief is only that good due to how the battle forecast works. If you couldn't see beforehand if your thief was going to be hit(aka die), they would get hit(aka die) a whole lot more and be much more risky to run.
    I don't know. Using them feels a bit cheesy to me. If I use them I just can't help myself and I start optimising their use by using the battle forecast. And the battle forecast is just kind of lame. It makes you turn your brain off and makes actual strategic thinking unnecessary.

      Idk lower range assist damage and no ranged damage during fights can be useful. I could see them becoming decent 4th and 5th slot units

    I very much disagree with Warrior.
    Warriors have a huge attack stat, handle armored units with an unblockable attack, can destroy barriers, and have a +AP attack to clean up along with a passive that makes it unblockable if there are no armored units around. That all combined in a single unit put them at S tier.
    Edit: maybe it's cuz you used the girl Warrior? The guy warrior has growths set to Offensive + Offensive so his attack stat gets really high.

      They are releasing a card game with 216 cards. I think if we just take that 1/5 are characters, that would be too much to tier up with these combat calculations. Simply put, a better tier list has team comps and considers valor points too. I used 6 valor to take out bosses without even entering battle at times.
      This is their only chance.

    Archers will be interesting to see for mid/late game maps. If assists become more useful, they could become decent units

      If there is an item that lets us build a watch tower then I think archers could become S tier potentially but since you need to be garrisoned for it to be good and there is a map time limit im not sure how good they will be. Time will tell
