Dark Marquess(Axe) is definitely S tier. 1 AP Row attack with stun. Built in pursuit with sustain. The row attack gets stronger with affliction. Great start of battle effect. It just doesn't have any bad in its kit.
Vanguard should've been better. Or just give Lex a different class lol
Berengaria is pretty good mid game, I haven't used her late yet but you might be sleeping on her.
High Priestess is amazing! Row heal with Refresh. And complements well with the arrow rain team.
the Gryphon hate blows my mind every time you bring it up
He plays on highest difficulty. Certain classes in rpgs makes much more sense on easier difficulties and serve a purpose for them there.
I m up in albion expert and my gryphon still one shots
the gryphon is probably better than I put them but I was directly comparing them to wyverns which just seem much better imo.
@@purplatypus7405 I only use 1 wyvern @ lvl 40 expert with the lightning spear to stun the back row. gryphon with keen is pretty good one shotting just about anything. and I use breaker to break the front line shields on a game that doesn't do 1 shot charge attack.
I agree, my gryphon masters are awesome, definitely better than my wyverns. They're a little spongey but that's their only weakness imo. Their valor skill is so helpful

Lol yea they did, he got dropped pretty fast but is in so many cut scenes
@@kayne8222 I've used him even tho he was pretty bad. On some stages I really had to drop him to not make his entire unit useless lol.
@@seifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeI kept him the entire game w adel and mandrin and Liza and auch so he was pretty great as a tank in front stopping dmg. Used some stat boosters to make him work bc I needed it to work for the canon lol.
I generally agree for the majority of this list. I had no idea the Elven Augur / Sibyl units were so broken, I had avoided using them because they felt super squishy for the most part!
I personally really enjoyed my Doom Knight. Used him, two Great Knights, a Druid and a Bishop to defeat the final boss of the game.
Can't say I shared the hate for Lex but this video kind've made me rethink him.
Snipers were always a solid unit in my squads! Basically my "air unit" hunters. :P
All in all, great video! Learned a thing or two and I can always appreciate a good tier list!
I pair the wereowl in a counterattack squad along with Yunifi as well as a counter-unit for Colloseum. I’d put them at A personally, maybe high B. But yeah they’re tricky to use.
Edit. Also, man you missed out on not using Berengeria. I find her around the same lvl as the Elf twins. She has a row stun that costs one AP. Her follow up heals her and she hits pretty decent, too. I have an entire team that revolves around her and she kicks butt. S-tier unit. Try her out on your next playthrough.

yes highswing is better but the griffon has worse stats overall and thats their one good ability besides Feathering sometimes. Its probably true that I ranked them a bit to low because I directly compare them to wyverns which are just way better overall imo.

Elven archer are op, its swiss army knife cleric + archer + debuff imunity + broken buff in one single package
Put a medic kit on one character are here you go
Best team comp in pve is one sergent, board attack + truestrike trinket, elven archer, a catear character, and whatever you need after that that.
With a single gambler coin and a sergent, you unleash a critical +50% crit damage +30% atk AOE true strike with +50 magical might twice while being imune to debuff

high priestess is the only one that I think really isnt where she belongs. Prolly should have just been in 'didn't use' if she's lvl 5.
Being able to use the bishop staves already makes her valuable. I think she's got slightly better stats than the bishop as well though not 100% sure anymore, she's either more tanky or faster or both. The PP refund can be very good in groups that proc it reliably. Unlike bishops, she deals damage in fights that dont require her to do something else. And finally removing buffs and debuffs is never bad.
Not saying she's S or even A. But to me it feels like the definition of a B-definitely not D. Maybe a sidegrade to the bishop itself. Worse if you're trying to keep something foolhardy like berserkers or bears alive, but better in groups that are set up to proc her PP refund and groups that benefit from a bishop staff and/or need some healing but not to the extent that a bishop is needed.
ps: Berengaria's Dark Marquess deserves S tier. Probably Alain's closest rival in terms of being an amazing allrounder.

In my next game I plan to go straight from saving Scarlet to Elfheim where I'll hire elf mercs since they're promoted units. In my first playthrough (never played Fire Emblem so I just kept it at normal so yeah it was easier) I went to Elheim first but I didn't realize I could just hire a bunch of elf mercs and marched as far as I could before curb stomping through draconis but. Yeah just saying the only reason to get elf mercs is if you hadn't reached A rank yet when you travel to Elheim.
Reminds you people who read comment. This is not definitive tier list. He didn't even use all of the classes. He just rushed himself for the sake of viewers

I wish the werewolves were better, but sadly yes, they are pretty basic. I’ll still use them, though. Furry love!
Feather shield sacrifice with Scarlette passive and the bell that gives pp = infinite tanking and healing
Werefox carried end game. Way better than Rogues.
Werewolf is not worse than Beserker lol. Also Griffins are better than Wyverns and Elven Archer is one of the best units in the game. Just look at their abilities.

You're wrong about the Landschneckt follow-up attack. It will counter anyone, including the back row. It happens to me all the time
It can't counter the back row if there I'd a front row still alive since it's not a ranged ability

Puts Elven Archer and Berengaria at F lmao, might be the worst list I've see on youtube. All of the Dark Marquess are incredibly broken, only Berengaria isn't post game though.
He does clarify that he did not use them trough the playthrough and that's why they are in F. Problem being why call it a definitive tier list if is not going to have more knowledge for all classes...

They are f tier as they were not used in my playthrough. That was bad tier and not used tier as I explain.

There is no such thing as a real definitive list on anything and people take tier lists to seriously.
However I see I uploaded the wrong thumbnail I made a few and this one I decided against as I am not rating every class so I will change it after work.
